The only reason that Southern University doesn't use gold horns is because they are too cheap to spend the money. Many schools switched to white fiberglass horns back in the sixties when they became fashionable.(SU used gold horns up to 1966). Then they realized the white horns sounded like crap. One by one they all switched back to gold or silver horns by the 1990's. Any one who says different is a liar. Even high schools bands have better horns. Come on SU!
