I too suffer from fibro/degenerative disc disease and low grade lupus. I'm sorry for everyone out there hurting. I was going to a pain clinic for about a year and a half, fentanyl patch, micro, cymbalta, clonazapam , tizanadine. And all I got was sicker and sucker! All of these meds make you achey addicted and bring on more problems. I have spent almost a year getting off most of them. I am now on an almost all plant based vegetarian diet, no preservatives, no caffeine(boo misss coffee), try to
Doctors here in australia are usually very reluctant to prescribe these kind of drugs fantanol is especially addictive morphine will give you the worst withdrawal symtons
I cant see why your GP would prescribe Diazepam for sciatica? I too suffer from chronic pain caused by chronic pancreatitis I also have a herniated disc which causes me sciatica.MY meds are far higher than yourself,I use 2x100mcg/hr Fentayl patches,2x200 MXL 24hr release morphine sulphate,Oramoph 30ml twice per day (Morphine sulphate soloution 10mg/5ml) and Diclofenac 100mg suppositories for muscular pain.Despite this and other meds I take i still suffer with terrible pain.
I don't know much about fibromyalgia but in my opinion you should try and find a better way to spend your time than making all these negative videos asking people on the internet for help. I know your ill and I sympathise as I'm also ill/addicted but asking people on youtube for help isn't going to improve your situation. You need to look within yourself for the strength to deal with the situation and that's something no one on youtube can help you with. I'm not trying to be nasty, just honest.
Ok, show me your hands and laying on your stomach. I have to fix you with my shakkels for your best. Now you go back wards into the police car and have a
God i hate your voice and how you say hello people, and you dont know shit about what drugs your on, i hope you get mixed up and your dr. accidentally ODs ur dumb fucking result of incest pill head
Man you guys are really in the idiot section of society, which is large I assure you.
He has fibromyalgia. One tip on life I am going to give you is that if you have not experienced the pain then don't attempt to talk about it as if you know anything.
Go read up on it, though it probably still wont help you understand.
The rehab he is talking about is physical and not for medication abuse. Trust me, he cant take enough meds for what he has going.
Dude, I know ur in pain! But I've been through nothing like u I'm sure. But I started on codeine 30mg, then I got into cough syrups w/ codeine phosphate 3 bottles a day, then I got into DF118 almost 60-70 pills a day. I nearly died mate! I've cut down a lot but switched back to the syrups on and off for the past 5 years. I'm almost off all that shit, almost cold turkey, but I do take a sip in order to sleep. But I already feel better. patches r gd, less harm on ur liver!
I stop going to pain management because both my family and I thought I was going to OD. So now I'm on 50 mcg/h of Fentanyl patches applied every 2 days and 1mg of Klonopin 2x daily. This poor guy needs to cut back or he will end up dieing so support him to go to recovery good luck
OKy here is the thing this guy is abusing his meds i know this because i use to do the same thing i went to pain management and it was like going to a candy store i was givin Opana ER 30mg 3x daily. Percocet 10mg 5x daily, Flexril 10mg 4x daily, and Klonopin 2mg 4x daily. It did what it was supppose to then i started over taking all of it.
To the above poster: you will definately experience discomfort, but it doesn't have to be extreme or hellish. An addiction specialist can help you taper off your narcotics using suboxone or methadone. Also, there are other medications like Clonadine and various 'comfort medications.' I hope you learn that drugs are not the only solution to chronic pain and actually can cause more pain and side effects. There are a litany of effective non-drug strategies for chronic pain.
tapering off is not for me. when i take a break from drugs, i prepare, with immodium, pedialite, & expect to have sthing like the flu for a few days. or a week, depending on how much opiate meds I was using.
I find it disgusting when people brag about their abuse of powerful pain medications. There are people who are suffering agonizing, suicidal levels of pain who are not receiving adequate treatment thanks to those who divert and misuse drugs. Clinics have a responsibility to ascertain that patients receiving narcotics are signing opiate contracts, receiving random UA's, bottle checks, engaging in other non-drug pain strategies, etc. Opiates should only be used as a last resort.
His doctor likely tried to be helpful, but in the end undermined his own patient by caving in to demands for more and more narcotics. Opiates can actually create more pain and cause other medical issues. Many long-term opiate users actually have less pain when their doses are tapered down or eliminated. There is a role for narcotics in pain medicine, but obviously there is a balance that needs to be struck. This guy seems obsessed with medications to the exclusion of other pain strategies.
I was actually addicted to air! Yeah I know... But anyway I weaned myself off the air and I also had a water addiction in 2007. I was drinking 16 glasses of water a day...Until I stopped completely. Don't ever start breathing air like I did...I was always calling my dealer for more Oxygen...OH GOD!! It was Hell.
@Jeffluvs80s WHAT? YOU TOO? Damn, after all these years I thought I was the only one addicted to air and water! But I'll never quit! bwahahahaha I have pure oxygen for sale for $50 per breath. Get it while it is cheap!
Dude, your brain must look like swiss cheese, and your liver and kidneys are probably just about ready to explode or cave. Well your brain is clearly depleted as fuck. I think you should find some other methods, not completely going off meds, but lowering your daily intake of chemicals. I don't believe your body should be taking in so much chemicals. But then again, I think you just might be in too deep. Your body needs it now. This is mind blowing. I bet your doctor drives a Ferrari as well.
...and on another note after stopping my Oxycodone usage I started having panic attacks...because of my past drug addiction the doctor would not prescribe me Valium to stop the panic attacks...after almost 2 years of suffering a not being able to leave the house I found a source online for Valium and I can start living again....random comment but worth mentioning...I'm in the UK too...the doctors like to sit in their ivory towers...I'm a young guy..22 and I need to function.
Yes indeed tell that to somebody with generalised anxiety who can have a panic attack watching a comedy film...it's called G.A.D. Generalized Anxiety Disorder and while some of it is treatable via psychotherapy the majority of GAD sufferers need to be medicated.
The only thing that worries me my friend about your medicine regimen is the paracetamol...at those levels...that shit will kill your liver eventually...your doctor should know better.
I was addicted to Oxycodone...similar to Morphene for 4 years...a slow taper should see you OK....I was a recreational user...my addition was self inflicted...but for a pain patient a slow taper you'll be fine.
It's been almost a year since you posted this...I hope you are OK and doing well.
dude, im on morphine for the rest of my life, from a heroin coma. i got really bad damage nerve damage. they gave me methadon but i was allegeric. feel your pain
One day I had an operation where they removed a lump of weird cell growth from my groin area. Afterwards I was given a prescription for NSAID painkillers. Not the most heavy stuff you would think.. Well it made me feel worse than i felt after the operation. Made me feel warm, cold, fuzzy, dumb, and gave me severe memory loss: couldn;t even remember the way to my mothers house when my girlfriend wanted to drive me there.. Next time i'll kindly decline the prescription and suffer a little..
""non c'è che dire... è strafatto! "" (come quando house parla con wilson al telefono e gli dice che il suo cane gli aveva divorato 30 vicodin... "" nooo, non è morto!!! ..... è STRAFATTO! ""
CMQ complimenti per la buona scelta del MST, morphine sulfate Extended Release is the best analgesic ever seen! lucky you, but for intense accidental pain swich ibuprofen to ketorolac 30mg orally more omeprazole ore an other PPI, for protect the stomach... bye, A. Zanichelli, MD
im suprised the doctors give you all that medication just for back pain
ive lived with chronic pain in my back, knees, and hands and fingers and have menires an nerve parathesis in my left thigh which is impossibily painfull and they just give me cocodamol, anytriptiline,, gabapentin, and cizmerine freaking wish my docs were so sympathetic
I personally think you're a drug addict. I am too so don't feel alone. I am here for you, dude. Get to a good rehab. You may want to try holistic addiction treatment. Don't go to a crappy rehab or they won't take care of you or call the hospital until you pass out.
That's a lot of pain medication, Bless your soul. Here's me searching for opiate abusers and I find someone who actually needs the stuff. Have you ever considered buying heroin on the street? I know that may sound crazy, but the stuff works, better than morphine, better than anything, you don't have to suffer, people on the street would be more than happy to help a person like you. Cannabis would also help.
@Impermanence Don't ever turn anyone onto heroin. Especially from the streets you know how dirty that shit is? Keep bootin heroin and see how far that gets you in life.
@demoballa i dont know if they get our shitty black tar over there.a buddy o mine gave me some powder brown looking shit and it was good.Did it every day for 7-8 years and quit all dope cept for drinking and vicodins, definatly not an easy thing 2 go tru.takes a lot of willpower.
If your on the Fenanyl patch an its not helping alot maybe you should ask your Dr about actiq, its a fentanyl lollipop that comes in 100 mcg up to 2000 mcg an they work really well, I my self am on the 800 mcg along with morphine an norco. can I ask how come you take the meds your on ?
8 of Paracetamol? No offense, but either you or your doctor is completely stupid.
