i made this mistake, excuse - only riding to the shops, bearing in mind i was wearing jeans, i dit have a gortex jacket on, disloted my knee, lost all the skin on my knee, and toulk a large gash out of my side aprox 5 mm deep 70 mm long and 30mm wide. cirtanly taught me a lesson.
Same here going to get fuel at the neighborhood shops,high sided.LEts just say they had to scrap the road of my knees.Luckily all the other pads kept up.Shorts? not a good idea.

you are riding in shorts, if you come off it takes 1 second to get down to the bone then 1 mm of bone is shredded every 1 second.
