@athenstar10, yes name names, what is important in music is how you give life to the music. It's true there are good singers in Phils. but they just cant give justice to the songs, which is very important in music. it's like life darling that breath.

Mr Foster, I have nothing against Charice but if you could just visit the philippines, you'll be surprised that we have a lot of girls like charice. I'm proud of her but come to think of it, she sounds amazing in other countries but when it's time to perform in her native country, she sounds like every little girl here singing. I don't know why, but i've tried separating her voice from others but i can't.

@athenstar10 Please name some names so I can listen to them if they're on YouTube. Since learning about Charice, I have listened to many Filipino female singers and while many are very, very good, none have captured my interest like Charice. (Sarah, Rachel Ann, Jonalyn, Kyla, and many more)

this second tour is the best by far. i love watching the chemistry of Charice and David here. especially when Charice was singing power of love, hitting the high notes. David is all smiles here and no doubt felt the goosebumps, chills, etc....very very proud of Charice overall performanced. silly me, i was teary eyed and was in awe the whole time watching and listening. ive seen the other city tours, but for some reasons, i keep coming back on this one. AMAZING! thanks for sharing guys.

David Foster said it best. A voice like Charice's comes only once in a generation. Charice's covers are better than the original. She sings these songs better and stronger than Whitney ever did. Beyonce's Listen - as good as that is - pales in comparison to Charice's rendition. I LOVE Celine, but I must admit that Charice's vocal quality is fuller and better than Miss Dion's. Charice is FANTASTIC!!!!

You are so right. Listen to her sing songs from Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Miley Cyrus etc.. Her rendition's better than their studio version. Her talent is so out of this world. I can't help but cry when she sang GBA & I'm not even an American.

@leisadi While I understand ur sentiments, pls note that she was only 17 when she did this concert & that she has yet to hit her full potential. At the end of the day, music is a preference not a competition. Some like Celine & some don't. Some like Mariah & some don't. Neither one is better than the other. It is simply a question of what ur ears will defer to listen to. If u prefer to listen to Whitney that is cool, ur preference should be respected as should those who prefer Charice :)

xanderguillard, good ears and observation. Charice simply put in a new twist to the song. Again, to make it her own which David Foster was delighted to acknowledged. I also noticed Charice had taken a new way of ending her performance. I think she should curtsy and walk away like a TRUE DIVA. This will leave the audience begging for more. God, I could be her Personal Assistant and Publicist.

Hi xanderguillard. Actually, I am a professional videographer who tapes mainly Weddings in the NY Long Island area. Waiting for Charice music to be played at a reception.  I'll probably start screaming again. I used a cheap mini dv camcorder fo tape this and i'm as impressed as you are. It's not hd or anything but just a basic movie camera. As long as the results put Charice in a positive light, I have done my job.

Charice was able to make the song "I Have Nothing" her own personal song. When she first sang it @Oprah Show I was blown away. It is her own personal life telling it to Oprah in such a touching moment. Oprah experienced goosebumps and so did I. It was fantastic.
