Rita was not understanding; she constantly filled in the blanks in Dexter's life with whatever was convenient for her at the time, she never let Dexter think or speak for himself, she was constantly mad at Dexter because he didn't do what she wanted him to do ALL THE TIME, and she dumps him a second time after finding out he slept with another woman... after she had dumped him.

Rita was a poorly written character, and a constant thorn in Dexter's side.

@eits1986 Slightly agreed, but she lets dexter eventually develop as a character where he enjoys her company, and can actually connect with someone, even if it is partial. She was no thorn in his side, she was a character written to bring out something from someone else. This was evident from the first episode

I totally agree with benanr90 and luxfero, I loved Lundy! One of my favourite characters!

For some weird reason, I found him strangely attractive.. I loved his facial expressions and his character's intelligence. I wanted his relationship with Debra to last longer, see more details about it. Too bad he won't be returning...

i was thinking the same thing. i found his relationship with deb quite profound for north american television. it's surprising how accepting i felt about him getting the girl over the good-looking anton. i WANTED him to win. but then he had to die :( what a gentleman he was
