2008 Scion xB with Modified Exhaust

So everyone whining about this car being slow is telling me there are no mods for the engine? So the same amount of money to give a civic 300hp won't help this car either? Do some research cause it's out there. Just because the xb is ugly as hell doesn't mean it can't do a 13 second 1/4 mile.

@JonBradenBand Actually it's been lowered, just occured after the video was shot. I've also modified the exhaust after this video was shot to help it not sound like a lawn mower.

actually thats not considered deep tone more like a high pitch noise maker but its sounds cool,im sure if you take out resanators in any car youll get some kind of pitchy or deep tone thats why makers put them there to quite the exhaust

How can you not like that sound...its pretty deep for how raspy it is. That is a sign of goodness (lol). I love to hear the cylinders actually hit...just like in a WRX horizontaly opposed engine (boxer engine)(H4). But yea, man that shit sounds powerful....really if the tone is that deep and raspy ima get the Xb for sure

I had an exhaust shop remove it. They just cut it out, and wielded new 2'' pipe in it's place.

The car has since received a Short Ram Intake and a Dual exhaust so it sounds much deeper than this video is.

Nope, it's completely stock, just had the resonator removed. The TRD exhause is not worth the money, you can't hear it at all, and they charge like $500 for it with installation. Rip off.

no way.. the 08 xb has the old tc engine. and the tc is alot lighter. the rims dont really make a difference seeing as how the overall weight of the car excedes that of the tc.

i just got my 08 xb with plans of a trd exhaust aem intake and headers and some other engine work. i just really want to race my friends fj cruiser. and i need about 200 hp to do that. [stock is 160].

but after i super charge it i'll be running either close to or more than 300 hp to the wheels.

if you check out the car and driver article, the 08 xb doest beat the 08 tc in 0-60. it also beat the civic ex in 0-60. the tc has a great look but that panoramic sunroof weighs to damn much.
