I think it's kind of wrong to compare S2 with Gingerbread to Nexus with ICS, since S2 will be getting ICS too in a few weeks. If you had to choose between S2 with ICS and Nexus, which one would you choose and why? :) Please respond! I'm having such a hard time choosing... i have to wait until January though.
@samsungmobilerdom Haha yeah ofc, i would too! But there's no set release date yet, is there? I can't wait for too long, i really need a new phone. Some people are saying it's coming out in early 2012, and some say in the summer.
@NikkexD Ahh well pity I signed an NDA. Nexus is your best bet for software longevity and updates - S2 has slightly better hardware and is probably much cheaper these days... really down to software choice + price I guess!
@PlayStationHidden #galaxys2 is still a top of the range phone and spec wise there isnt much difference apart from the HD(battery draining) screen on the #nexus which is also a little bigger. It doesnt feel bigger though because the soft keys take up permanent space on the screen! The main difference is OS ... gingerbread or icecream sandwich... i think 4.0 is the only real USP of the nexus. No one uses NFC in the west yet anyway!
@samsungmobilerdom You seem a little biased towards the nexus. From the reviews that I have read the phone has excellent battery life. And actually the soft keys don't take up permanent space on the screen, they disappear when watching video. lol you should know that you have the phone
I have gingerbread and I got the zombie art way faster!

I hate that Samsung bastardised the look of the American Galaxy S II. The GSM International one looks so much better.
