  • whenever i feel like installing these old games i just listen to the music of them on youtube, its almost better

  • The only time the world will be at peace, is when everyone is "gone," or if everyone learns how to respect and live together. War is a terrible thing, but at the same time, it brings us together. Since I did not get to complete my other comment, RIP to my great grandfather, Infantryman Louis Flores. -Philippine Army. He didn't die in the war, but died 3 months before my birth.

  • @4netflixuse

    *Luis

  • My friends going to war :( ... It kills me inside slowly and someday i might just lose it and go insaine. I honselt;y don't think that he's going to come back. I'm inlove with him and I would just die if he didn't come back ... I've been haveing dreams .. and there not helping as well. the cigorit dosent help. pot.. alchahol.. pills.. it's all just a distraction. if he dies. i will avenge him and go to war .and die on the same soil

  • war is a hurful thing. I think this music really helps show it.

  • I'm shot but i am ok for now. Remember on this mission After the Drop when you shot your partner and he said that. I'm shot but i am ok for now.

Why can't the old good time get back like it used to be.

  • i love MOH music because its so dramatic and it really speaks to me.

the only other game with music as dramatic as this is Halo 3s music

  • I was sad to watch your Friend on the Windmill Perish

  • @wargames1983 they didnt even give him a chance, they were just like "oh look an easy kill"

  • this is such an emotional song... micheal gacchino really overdid it on this, if the game dosent get you first then the music will

  • its funny how everyone else also remembers the guy from the windmill i can tell how many times i tried to save him but i never could thats just one of the memories from this game i remember going into the bar dressed as a german officer, stealing the plane at the end, the level under the radar a name that still haunts me today i cant tell you how many times i had to restart that level games nowadays lack that challenge and the singleplayer is 4 hour long because they focused on multiplayer

  • @tRicKyTuRok that windmill guy......i feel broken without a fellow teammate

  • This song reminds me of walking through those fields in Holland, seeing the paratrooper hanging from the windmill and feeling so bad because you could do nothing to help him.. Like you got there too late.. Damn good times, and great game..

  • "Hey Jimbo, can you give me a hand? Wait...no...aaaagh!"

    :'(

  • this song always clears my head and reminds me that we have a world to take care of :)

  • All i can say, no matter who you are, soldier or civilian, war is hell.

  • How can people hate this song? it make me feel like I'm in the sky every time that I hear it I cry a little inside and out. Who in the name of awesome hate this? J.B. fans

  • the number of likes automatically translates into the number of comment arguements and conversations here on this video. so i have to agree with the dislikes showing that people are not stupid and start posting shit on each other's statements.

    *SHUT UP or GO DIE*

  • I WANTED TO SAVE THE CRASHED PARATROOPER IN THE WINDMILL : ' (

  • @NorCal4Life925breh I know that feel, bro. -Hug-

  • the sadest level is this level and arnhm knights

  • i have this game

  • PATTERSON, TAKE OUT THOSE MORTARS

  • I love these games, but I hate how you're always the bad guys D:

  • From The era when Medal Of Honor was good, those days will be missed

  • @Tox1cw4xc3 it's annoying sometimes as I feel sometimes that the other groups aka Britain, australia, Canada, French, German renegades, Belgium are left out. I mean for example in saving private Ryan (it's a good movie) but I just have to stand back and ask where is everyone else... Not one British/canadian etc. Also the patriotism that America gives off sometimes can drown you to the point that games become unplayable.

  • @DONUTSREVENGED In the level "Arnhem Knights" you fight alongside brits for a good part of it.

  • @DONUTSREVENGED The opening scene to that movie took place at Omaha beach so there wouldn't be any British or Canadian soldiers there.

  • Comment removed

  • I haven't played this game in a while, refresh my memory, did the friendly AI in this mission help in any way? I remember that he destroyed some tanks, but did he kill any infantry?

  • " HEADS UP JIMMY MORTARS!"

  • I loved saving the people living out in the country from the Nazi officers that would rant in their faces. I'd just pop him square in the head from some tens of yards away and a big grin would form on my face.

  • One of the greatest games i played in my childhood.

  • 'Whoa, whoa whoa! USA don't shoot don't shoot!'

    *fires at the guy*

  • @BlocklandSpartan first time i player I shot at him with a sniper from a mile away for like 10 minutes straight

  • @Tox1cw4st3 Im an Australian, and have always wanted to play a WWII game as Australians, but sadly never have, and probably never will.

However I do enjoy playing as the Americans, that being the game is somewhat historically accurate (Looks at BIA: Furious 4).

I still strongly feel a sense of courage and bravery being portrayed on soldiers of WWII, especially playing as a frontline soldier in some of the most historical and bloody battles (D-Day, Market Garden)

  • did anyone know were i get the lyrics ?

  • *Thats NOT what Medal of Honor is about, NOT*

  • Your all seriously here to even talk about the evil that happens today on this page? Forget the massacres of Today! Infact not even the Holocaust, cause thats what Medal of Honor is about! It's about paying respects to the Soldiers who fought in World War II for their countries, and the ultimate sacrifice that young men had to make. And im talking on both sides! The Nazi Party was a devistating faction in History, but lets not also forget the German Soldiers who to fought for their country!

  • @Lawrence4Roosters Isn't it also about glorifying violence?

  • @THthefirst I replied back to that comment saying MoH is NOT about the massacres.

I've gotten this type of reply a hundred times so can you PLEASE stop presuming that I think MoH glorifys violence? I've said a hundred times that MoH pays respect to those men who fought and died in WWII. War is bad, but in the end, it was us civilians who although may of suffered from loss of loved ones, we didn't have to endure the pain and sacrifice that Soldiers had made for our freedom!

  • @Lawrence4Roosters I am not sure I agree with you, or if the message has got through. Lots of youngsters play this game for fun as a "shoot em up". You get rewarded for killing the enemy, for completing levels, and it is definitely aimed at a market that enjoys that. It would be nice, as you suggest, to believe that the players of this game really do only play it out of respect and dignity - but I think that view is somewhat naive.

  • @THthefirst I understand what your saying. But I tend to believe that the makers made MoH with the intentions of showing authenticity. But the whole killing the enemy to get to next stage has to be put in place cause in the end, the War wasn't only won wth sacrifices from the winning side, but by killing the other side who stood in their way to Berlin

  • @Lawrence4Roosters What do you base that on though? You believe the makers wanted that, but is that really what they have said? And what about the "other side"? Weren't they human too.

This is a video game made for enjoyment. If the makers really wanted to raise awareness of the war they could have easily added to it - e.g. rememberance parts etc

  • @THthefirst *Sigh*, once again Im accused about fogetting the other side. Please read my original comment, the part about the Germans, I don't like repeating myself.

Sure a game does aim for a certan audience, and does have to include some element to stand out to the audience, but in the end, we can be for certain that MoH does aim for rememberance to those who served, I don't see any Inglorious Basterds style of gameplay in ANY MoH game

  • @Lawrence4Roosters I am afraid that so far you haven't convinced me of your point of view - you keep saying that we know this and we know that about the makers of the game, yet offer no evidence in support. HOW do you know? Are you inferring that this is their intention? Or have they stated it? Or is it in the game? As far as I can see, the game is a shoot-em-up which largely glamourises war and killing and is aimed at teenagers not adults.

  • As much as it's shoot em up and killing Germans, one: The Germans aren't portrayed as comical weak men or supernatural fantasy monsters, but as humans who were fighting on the opposite sides. Two: It shows that the Allies weren't all super strong and easily saves the day, but that men had died in battle on both sides.

  • @Lawrence4Roosters That proves nothing other than the makers have tried to portray a challenging and satisfying game. As I said before - and you haven't changed my opinion yet but I am open - you need to offer evidence to show that the game is aimed at honouring the dead, e.g. that it says so in the game/gameplay, or the makers of the game are on record as saying so. Without that, it is just your own particular intepretation, without evidence to support it.

  • @THthefirst

If they wanted to make this game only for fun n shit, they would have made it like CoD, where you kill someone and they turn into a ragdoll or something, etc, wouldn't they?

They don't demonize the voices and everything, the Germans are pretty realistic in this game, on CoD they are demonized and ugly and everything to make it more "fun" and shoot them, on here they're sitting by a fire sharing a cigarette, etc, at one point you can even hear a German talk on the phone with his wife

  • @jimmyxx3 I do remember seeing a german in this game talking to somebody don't remember who it was but it sounded like someone he cared for and I tried so hard to skip him but I couldn't... Probably in this war much of these situations happened...

  • @rfcb200

You had to turn on the subtitles, or you would have to know how to speak German :P

It was one of the last missions.

  • @jimmyxx3 well either way it was sad to kill him... :'(

  • @rfcb200

Yeah I didn't like killing them in the middle of their peaceful times, like near that camp fire :<

  • @jimmyxx3 A German talking on the phone with his wife? When does that happen in the game?

  • @corvettecrazy262

You need subtitles on and you need to be undetected, I think it's the one where you're entering the secret air base or some shit, it's been ages since I played this game, I just remember what happened.

  • @THthefirst

Well I can see that you do not agree with what I say, but all that I care about is that I had felt the authenticity of the game. Weather it was made for that purpose or not, I see it as an Art of portraying soldiers from WWII, not the Holocaust or political side of the war, not who was right or wrong, but an Allied perspective of WWII.

  • @Lawrence4Roosters

I agree, this game was also great at showing the Germans were people too. It showed they were just human like us. Such as the bar scene, and all those scenes where the soldiers were naturally doing things. Such as when you had to steal the guy's laundry, and when they would be sleeping. Nazis were people too. Maybe some even did what they did to avoid the fate of the Jews. (I'm not hating on Jews, Germans, or any other nation) Respect the dead.RIPtomyGGfath

  • @4netflixuse Im glad you agree with me mate.

Infact most, if not all the German Soldiers in Western Europe had no idea about the concentration camps, they were just doing their duties for their country whilst also being away from their family.

  • @Lawrence4Roosters There is so much suffering in the world ya know. It would be so much better if people could learn torespect other peoples beliefs and culture. Also to respect one another and not harm any other living being. A peaceful world is the dream of the children of the earth, but some people both adults and children are only in it for themselves. They believe that people should serve them. They are the ones who hurt this world.

  • @Lawrence4Roosters you sir are completely right. i totally agree with you

sorry for my bad english its not my motherlanguage

    Thorbjorn

  • @ThorbjornEinheri Nothing wrong with your english mate, I understand

  • cant believe they shot him when he was hanging off the windmill like that completely defenceless, but i guess war is war

  • Fuck the Holocaust that's a myth you're tryin to believe in, people..

wake the hell up and witness Israel's holocaust @Gaza nowadays !!

  • @mbmh007 My family made the United States our home in 1957. We came from Hessen, Germany. So, you can guess which side my family fought on. I'm not ashamed of it, in fact, I served in the US Army because I love this country so much. But my grandmother didn't believe the Holocaust happened until 1976. She didn't believe Germany, or anyone, could ever do something like that. My grandfather took her to Sobibor and it was only then did she believe. Pretty unbelievable.

  • @leapjrh Of course I understand but, don't you think that Israel shouldn't be ashamed of what they're doing nowadays in Palastine against children & commitin' such crimes against mankind with internationally restricted weapons & utilities of modern war?

I didn't say that the Holocaust never happened but,

The Holocaust should never be an excuse for them to do such things like that nowadays am I wrong?

Btw I'm not palastinian, I'm Egyptian and I know what war is like but we should've some sympathy

  • @mbmh007

You're just mad because Israel kicked your and two other nation's asses in less than a week.

  • @Ninox37 I'm sorry Israel did what :D ?

I should remind you of the 6th October of 1973, lest you forget Egypt's most recent war: /watch?v=xi4IIe30IyA

    /watch?v=jp0UFIgFYVU

Guess you knew who kicked whose ass right now then, you freakin shut your hole up..

  • @mbmh007 You are an unbelievably uninformed bigot.

  • @TheSk00kum Thanks, Bitch.

  • @leapjrh Wow. That's somethin' else, man.

  • It made me cry to see the soldier die on the windmill

  • @Dan90iel1 rlly?, the song made me cry:| but its so beautiful though but ya i had some chills playing this game especially d day

  • @galaxyxgamer Yes,think about all of those who died this day. It's horrible how many civil and soldier had to sacrifice their lifes.I hope we all can live in peace one day without hate and killing

  • @galaxyxgamer But i want you to know one thing if you dont already know it.Sweden supported the nazi during the second world war.And it was alot of people who acclamaided the nazis.I cant believe Swedish people really liked what the nazi did. It's horrible.

  • @Dan90iel1 well i speak and i am part swede, but i am most certainly not like that at all... and i didn't know about that i can't believe i didnt even know :'( and you are rite that does sound horrible, thats what i dont like what can you do about it though history is history*sigh*

  • @galaxyxgamer And thats not all.The queen Victoria of Sweden. Her father supported the nazist party too.You can search at walter sommerlath. But many Swedish says the reason they suported the nazi,it's because they had too little force to stand against them and they would be occupied if they didn't gave iron to the nazis.

  • @Dan90iel1 :'( see that makes me sad how ppl could be so cruel to other ppl, its not rite but thats history for ya *sigh*

  • Which is why I believe Medal of Honor to be one of the greatest portrayals of WWII soldiers

  • @kainhall

Now did I sai that War itself is heroic and honorable? Please read what I said again cause I don't like repeating myself and being accused of saying what I didn't say. I specifically state that it bring Honor to the soldiers, the ones who had to endure the suffering for freedom, I even say WWII was a dark era in history. I feel MoH even shows respect for the Germans as it does not portray them as evil men, but just soldiers on the opposite sides.

  • @Jonttuzor

Did I at any point say that all Germans were heartless killers? There is a vast distinction between German soldiers, and the Nazis. It's safe to say that German soldiers were indeed fighting for their country, but the Nazis on the other hand was a political party that sought the ahniliation of a group of people based on their religious views.

And when I say that Medal of Honor shows the only good side of War, I mean it doesn't portray Germans as monsters, but rather just men

  • I tried for like a week to save that dude in the windmill. One of the most underrated and perfectly made games out there.

  • Barnes:I'm hit, but I'm okay for now.

  • Hey Jimbo, mind giving me a hand... wait no....

  • I personally think this is the best track in the game. My salute to you Lt. Jimmy Patterson

  • 5 people got stuck on that fucking windmill!

  • despite new gameplay, new graphics, multiplayer modes and whatever, this is still the best game i think i've ever played. the soundtrack is stunning and it's a massive shame that they don't really build games like this anymore. it's just a shame that MOH rising sun was such a flop, guess they couldn't follow frontline up, it was just too epic!

  • This song brings back some memories... but of course nowadays video games are all about multiplayer not music or a good singleplayer

  • @friedbisquits Except Brothers in Arms ;) The last "true" FPS

  • It feels like I'm a citizen in Arnhem after the british drop collecting the dead or giving th germans prisoners, then finding my home destroyed and family dead. All due to an allied shell. War isn't a game, and it's amazing how quickly an OST can make you realize that.

  • @bestshowontheweb

    Ditto.

  • "HEY JIMBO, MIND GIVIN' ME A HAND HERE?"

  • this music is sooooo relaxingly beautiful:) i could listen to this song and soundtrack all day, moh is one of the greatest games out.

R.I.P. to all of the soilders in wwll god bless them and there families

  • HOW CAN MILEY CYRUS BE IN SUGGESTED VIDEOS?!!

  • I Hate when people say this game sucks due to bad graphics. I think graphics dont make the game good. Its the amazing story, soundtrack and i just love the feeling i get from playin this! I played this game ALOT as a kid xD and this song really DOES honor all the KIA soldiers. Im a finn and we also lost thousands and thousands of men in WW2. Salute!

  • sooo beautiful, but has sadness and peace to it at the same time

i love moh, 1 of the greatest games ever

    R.I.P. all the brave soldiers

  • this is in the war of the servers

  • saddest stuff ever.................

  • Props to Micheal Giacchino, the most versatile composer out there! Beautifully done.

  • this game started with:

"and when he gets to heaven,

to saint peter he will tell:

    "Just another soldier reporting, sir

I've served my time in hell."

and so the dead soldier who ended up in heaven and played on his ps3 cod 5 said to peter....

    F*ck this Sh*t, I'm going back to hell !!!

  • @lery22

You have no idea of what Hell is...

  • @BadassRocknRoller... the bit i wrote isn't about hell. its about this game, this game is just so much better than some crap they make these days. its the reason why the soldier wants to go back to that time, that he played games that were actually epic. that soldier, that is me.

  • @lery22

Ahh fair enough, i thought you meant that war would be something a soldier wishes to return to....War is only neccasery when Evil triumphs

  • @BadassRocknRoller i couldn't agree more with you. ww2 was terrible and i can't immagine what people must have felt. I would not make jokes out of that. i agree with you that war should only be necessary when evil lurks..

  • @lery22

    Amen to that my friend

  • So sad they don't make MOH's like this anymore..

  • I want to respectfully say the allied soldiers went above and beyond the call of duty.

  • I remmember that level. A poor paratrooper was caught by a windmill and he got shot.

I restarted the level so i could save him.

I throwed hand grenades on the place the bullets came from, i tryed to rush there so i could kill those germans, before they killed him, i even tryed to shoot the windmill.

Nothing helped and the poor guy died.

Thats god that this was a computer game lol xD

  • @VictumRoManius i actually managed to save him once by cooking the grenades and chucking them at where the bullets come from. still couldn't get him down though. probably still there.

  • Michael Giacchino, please come back to the Medal of Honor series. We need you.

  • I love America and I am sad to serious Therein he died fighting and they write letters to me my family had to say where I come to you and I died for the cause of soldiers Germany and I'm talking Muan hate Germany, now Germany has been wonderful and tell me all Narayanho goes night of hell

  • Comment removed

  • That music is just beautiful ... it actually makes me wanna play this game o_O and I hate FPS XD

Thanks for uploading this beautiful song :)

  • I LOVE THES MUSIC V______________V I LOVE ARMY USA USA FOREVER

  • i remember all the fucking nazi's were terrorising the dutch people, it felt good killing those bastards lol

  • this song make me cry :(

  • "This your first drop Patterson or is your aim always as bad as mine? We better see if anyone else is around, then we'll get you to town."

  • Comment removed

  • @arlington925 haha i always laugh when i play tha level because of the way "Cpl." barnes talks to "Lt." patterson. lol ur the one thats suppose to be in charge not a corporal

  • ik heb alle medal of honor's uitgespeeld en nu heb ik callofduty1 callofduty finest hour callofduty2 callofduty2 big red one callofduty3 callofduty4 callofduty world at war callofduty modern warefare 2 en callofduty black ops

  • i am from holland this ist the longest warr of al wars in holland i remember in dutch

ik ben zelf ook een nederlander ik woon ook in nederland maar wie hier over scheld die is dom en dit liedje is ook echt gemaak denk ik in de oorlog en niet schelden over de oorlog in afghanistan an pakistan of welke oorlog dan ook :)

  • My first FPS, first WW2 game... and my first love. Some years after I started to despise it for the player being a one man army. But once more I remember it fondly, and the music helps.

  • I'll never be able to comment on every video for this game, but damn if this is one game that will stick in my memory forever due to the unforgetable scores. every track and atmosphere it created were damn near perfect.

  • my grandfathers brothers fought in ww2 ........one on land one on ship and one in the plane. They fought on Iwo Jima..........my grandpa didn't fight because they didn't want the whole family to get wiped out.I think he was the one who was suppose to fight in the plane.

  • Medal of Honor is one of the greatest WWII works. It really does focus on respect and honor to the men who served in WWII. Obviosuly WWII was a dark era in history, with the holocaust and damage from the Nazis. But when I play Medal of Honor, I feel the rather lighter side of the war, which is the courage and heroism of the soldiers. WWII should be seen as a time of dark evil, as well as a good time of brave heroes. And Medal of Honor and this soundtrack truely does show honor to the soldiers.

  • @PatrioticAustralian the only "damage" that was truly dark and horrific was stalins murder of 50 million of his own people. They don't tell you that in the history books baby.

  • @BigEvan96 True, everyone blames Germany for these crimes, while Russia's are hidden away all just because they were allied with us ¬¬

  • @TalonMercenary yep stalin killed 33 million people [10 million were jews] hitler only managed 6.5 million [1 million russians and serbs]

  • @ywe3 i forgot the communist leader of china name but he killed more people than stalin and hitler combined....just by starvation

  • @nabtitan

Oh, you mean Mao Tse Toung ?

  • @Briselance there we go, yah i didnt know his name but he did some sick stuff

  • @PatrioticAustralian i agree and dissagree with you. i hate that its all about multi player now. i want the epic music, the tearing up moments back. everything cod1 and MOH had.

war is not heroic. its bloody, brutial, scary. its hell. MOH erpeian assult said it right. "war is never good, but the reason WHY we fight is. " basicly.... war is not a glorious thing that brings honor. people may honor you, but killing people is not honable. freeing people is!

  • @PatrioticAustralian Do you mean that all germans were heartless killers? Many german were fighting, because they has told to do so.

  • @PatrioticAustralian

    Very well said.

  • @PatrioticAustralian Heroes are ordinary men that do extraordianry things. it must have taken balls for them to do what they did.

  • @PatrioticAustralian Well said chap. Best WW2 game i've ever played.

  • im glad o kept my xbox version i play this map alot and somtimes i would just stand and listen to the music and look and the surroundings when there are no enemys near.

  • Why can't they make MOH like this anymore? After this MOH went down the drain except for MOH European Assault. COD and BF blasted past MOH after Frontline. I loved Frontline. My first FPS and best MOH. One of the best shooters ever.

  • @amitnayna01 same with me man. this was my first fps i ever played and i played the hell out of it for years

  • a similar happened to my grandfather that happened to the paratrooper in the begining of the level, on d-day he landed behind the german lines in a tree over a german mg emplacement, he took out all the germans and lived though

  • 5 people died from getting killd while hanging from a windmill.

  • Comment removed

  • Man this is a nice piece of music. I know I heard a voice calling Jimmy after I hit the ground..........and every time I played the level I always tried to look for him by the house or somewhere....I didn't know he was in the WindmilI I knew the germans got to him I tried to save him but.................): the song really touched me.........it went so well with the level.I wish I had my MOH games again........to bad I sold my PS2 and games on ebay.I wish I had them again.

  • I will buy the PS2 back just for this game. I want it.. I need it.

  • I took my wife's life with a knife from my wife

  • @Ps3GamerVideos 0_o i dont get it ha

  • So sad. All I can see are those poor lads burning up as they exit the LCVP, during the first level of the American Campaign of COD2...among many other gore deaths throughout the war franchise.

  • @MechWomanWarrior15 same here

  • u can pre order the special edition of moh and u can get this game revised and its only 59.99 i already pre ordered this game cant wait!!!!!

  • This is a lovely song

    of MEDAL OF HONOR

  • yeah i remeber restarting this level a few times bc i thought i could save jimmy =(

  • Vraiment triste cette musique....

    MOH frontline > ALL MOH

  • "hey jimmy... jimmy can ya give me a hand"........ ahh man i was like rushing to get over there then got the jerry

  • @MrAxis99 i once noticed where the firing was coming from, when he started talking to me i shot everything at that place to try to safe him, but it never helped.

    made me feel sad :(

  • the music is so beautiful!

  • Ah, I remember the M1 Garand sound

    pow pow pow!

Also this level is so sad with that poor soldier who got stuck on a windmill

  • Comment removed

  • Best level, not just in the game, but in anygame.

  • @flyingbob5

    Don't forget Arnhem Knights.

  • i faught in this war, the one based on this game, you won't believe what i've been through, i lost so many friends, i also lost my brothers, all of them.

  • @Alec319 I call bullshit.

  • @Alec319 ya dude your channel says your 21 and im pretty sure anyone who was in WW2 wouldn't have a youtube account

  • @Alec319 it's even more disrespectful to lie about it. Making those claims are a discrace to your country. Honestly man.
