iran -contra might have been a badly managed and quasi illegal covert operation on foreign soil BUT it at least HAD a genuine purpose per national security ..ie, making war against a hostile,communist ,cold war proxy in central america .

THIS odious, WH sanctioned operation was clearly intended as a false flag attack on ordinary law abiding amercans and the US constitution ITSELF .this is EXACTLY what the founders hoped to circumvent by insisting that the POTUS be at LEAST a NB US citizen .
