i love it when sweet docile patient kermit just snaps. his voice cracks and its so unusual to hear him talk that loud! but i think he was justified, and this definitely makes my top ten fav moments of the muppet show
If Wayne and Wanda had done "I feel the earth move", they would have gotten as far as "I feel the sky come tumbling down", and then the roof would have fallen on them =D
and in The Muppet Show they play the laugh track when things ARE FUNNY un-like now (and this is coming form a kid who didn't grow up with the Muppets)
Okay now that Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Miss Piggy, and the rest of the whole muppet crew have came back to the big screen with their motion picture; The Muppets here in 2011, ...why don't they get around to releasing the remaining seasons of The Muppet Show; 4 and 5? We fans of those muppets have been waiting since season 1 was released onto DVD back in 2005. I guess what I am saying is, we fans want the entire series on DVD and not just seasons that are available now; 1, 2, and 3.
@LaDracul: Many years? Kevin Clash was Hoots the Owl already by this time & debuted as Elmo in the 80s (both on Sesame Street, still a sister program to the other Muppet projects). He was also Baby Sinclair of Dinosaurs. It just was that Clifford & Pepe debuted during The Muppet Show's 90s knock-off, Muppets Tonight.
I've never seen Kermit's mouth open so wide.
