You know it's pretty hard learning a language. When you don't speak one for a while you tend to loose sight of it. I'm glad that I still have family that still speak Cantonese. A lot of my younger cousins don't speak it at all because they didn't want to learn it. Linda is amazing and she speak perfectly fine.

P.S. Heart of Greed was my favorite. That's when i fell in love with her acting! :D

@holypredator Firstly, you do not have to speak good English in order to be a top student in secondary school. Secondly, I am a University student and I know that going to a good University does not mean anything unless you are doing a good course such as Law and Medicine. Thirdly, I am a chinese so it is not possible that I am racist.

@holypredator I just want to emphasise that it is nothing wrong not to have a canadian accent. As she said 'just be yourself'. How about you read carefully what I have written, I said 'such as Law and Medicine', they were just a few examples. A question for you, do you feel happy when you call people ignorant? If you do, by all means, call whenever you like. If you don't, it is advisable not to do it again for the good of both parties.

(1) Do you actually know the definition of racist? Can you please explain why one saying a chinese do not have a canadian accent is racist? Maybe you are the one who is racist. You are the one belittling chinese who has non-canadian accent.

(2) 'such as' means examples. Example is not limited to only those items listed. You are too narrow minded.

(3) 1+2+ above 3=self-centered and ignorant.

What is a Canadian accent? British? Italian? Quebec French? It's equivalent of saying a person has an America accent as people speak with different accents depending on where they are raised and resided e.g. States, Counties, etc.
