I know that house, I know the grounds, I visited there three summers in a row in the late 60s and I would not be one bit surprised. The Sunken Gardens are another area that I feel might have presences - nothing bad, just people who love the place, as it said.
thats cool, i stayed at allerton house for a weekend in high school for a trip once, one of my classmates stayed in the haunted room upstairs, he said they heard knocking late at night when everyone was asleep. the grounds at that place are pretty amazing to walk in at night too, i never saw anything creepy though, but what a beautiful place.

i worked in the kitchen at the allerton house for a while and some strange things did occur,being there alone at night is the worst though
