This may seem like a silly question, but does anyone know what this song is about? I don't know, it's kind of confusing to me. It could be about lots of things, but I'm sure there was some kind of story that it was meant to describe.

It sorta sounds like Iris is a young woman who's sleepwalking though life. She does not achieve much because the people around her are down on her ideas ("ah come on.. nobody wants that!"). When she wakes herself up, though, she'll write a book about her experiences.

That's my take, anyhow. Any other ideas from commenters?
