  • I have to say. The USA does act as a form of

Vishnu. As much as liberals think we destroy everyone, it is us that the helpless need and depend on for hope and redemption.

    God bless USA.

  • very true...its not religion ..it dharma...time will tell whether that person who will restore dharma is baba ramdev or george Bush...

  • Yeah Christ just bowed down to trinity

  • This is what God (the Supreme Being) has repeated throughout the ages to different peoples through different religions: In times of despair, there shall be light to those who are faithful. Peace.

  • wowwww..........

  • religion ≠ Dharma

  • When ever there is decline of righteousness, and rise in unrighteousness, I incarnate my self to protect the virtuous and to destroy the wicked from time to time

    .

  • When ever there is decline of righteousness, and rise in unrighteousness, I incarnate my self to protect the virtuous and to destroy the wicked from time to time.

  • Makes my heart pound and have goosebumps alert.

  • Where is he then? What's the train service like from the Fairy Tale continent? Tell me if I'm wrong but aren't more and more people are waking up to the ludicrous self-serving bullshit that this 'verse' encapsulates so neatly? Yet your cosmic space fairy is nowhere to be seen. Your religion, like all religions is a joke and your god like all gods is a childish fantasy.

  • @repomonkey....if the verse calms people and brings peace and reassurance than it holds a divine space on its own...and it is divine. Not here to argue, if you think your correct, "then your correct my friend"..lol. BUT

this "verse" has had more of a positive impact on so many lives, than you will ever, and your living! ha WASTE OF SPACE

  • indeed.oh almighty god.please hasten thje coming of kalki avtaar.the world needs him more then ever before.

  • The Shaastras and the Vedas keep the mortal bound to the three modes of Maya, and so he performs his deeds blindly. O brother, you worship gods and goddesses. What can you ask of them and what can they give to you? O brother, the stones/idols you wash with water sink in water (in other words how could these stones help you cross the ocean of worldly temptations). OPEN YOUR EYES. RECOGNISE THE 1ONEAND FORMLESS ONE.

  • @/MegaFAIZ00 - You have no right to comment on any other religion or their holy texts. Just imagine if someone was to do the same to you - would you like it?

  • @jacklewis1968 Anyone has the right to comment on any religion and their texts. It's called freedom of speech. Heard of it? Besides which, the world's religions have demanded and received far more respect over the years than they actually deserve anyway.

  • Visit me PLEASE!

  • SUCK HINDUISM

    FUCK BHAGAVAD GITA

  • @MegaFAIZ00 Dude stfu; if you have nothing better to do then to insult the Vedic Dharma then leave this page. Hate is not the right path...

  • @MegaFAIZ00 wow u seriously dont know how to use your time wisely ....you really dont know how pathetic your words are......oh well u insult or dont insult, god bless you because seriously you are too ignorant and arrogant ..... :D

  • @bhasinuscuscable Not just Hindus everyone in general. Lord Vishnu is the father of all souls :)

  • Its clear declaration of God, where he says that he will keep coming to this earth in every ages. At the end of this Kalyug, Lord Vishnu will incarnate as Kalki Avatar. He is the Adi purush, the God . Bhagvat Gita is a must read book for everyone. It contains exact words of Lord Krishna, the complete incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Every character written in the book is correct.

  • great shlok and great music.... gives u hope that He is there for us....

  • Another perspective...in simple terms,

Whenever, wherever there is degradation on practice of 'values',

O Bharata, I (aham) will descend...

For the deliverance of good self, for the annihilation of the misdeeds, to uphold or re-establish the ordinance, I (self), will rise.

    To understand this better,

Whenever, wherever you are trying to do some misdeed, there is an inner self which is telling you it is wrong...this is what is conveyed by this shloka...

  • I am proud to be 100th one to like this shlok : )

  • i always get shivers hearing this....!

  • Translation:

Whenever there is decline of righteousness

    And rise of unrighteousness;

To protect the virtuous and to destroy the wicked-

I incarnate myself, from age to age.

  • @SeaofSongs Yes that is the corret translation

  • hi, thanks for your information, but can you tell me more about the KALKI AVTAR, WHAT ARE THE SIGNS WHEN HE WILL COME.

  • Thanks for the upload. I just wanted to mention something about Dharma. In your description of the video it was translated to mean Religion. While Hinduism etc are called Dharmic religions, Dharma is NOT equal to religion. Dharma means righteous duty or law. So whenever there is a decline in righteousness and truthful law, God will take an Avatar to set everything right.

  • @visusdvc yes my friend u r right but for a long time their is no avtar to set every thing right what do u say about this. reply soon

  • @nazmnaqueeb True. There hasn't been a major avatar recently. Going by the past yugas, Lord Vishnu usually took an avatar and by the end of the avatar, the yug changed. Only Ram avatar in treta and Krishna in Dwapar, etc. So I guess we'll have to wait for his next avatar, the famous Kalki. But meanwhile I would like to point out that this job is being done by numerous gurus and saints who bolster Dharma and selflessness in their devotees. The last such saint I can think of is Shiridi Sai baba.

  • @visusdvc In Treta Yuga there are more Avatars than Ram Bhagavan (ex. Parshuram). In Kaliyuga there are two major avatars (Lord Kalki and Lord Buddha).

  • @nazmnaqueeb Kalki Avatar is set at the end of the Kalyug. There are 24 avatars of Lord Vishnu in total. 10 of them are Mahavtar which is generally known as avatars. Vishnu Purana, Agni purana , padma purana and Bhagvata Purana. There is a separate kalki purana which contains the full details. Prescribed time is the end of the Kaliyug.

  • This translation says "decline in religious practice". Dharma is not religious practice as is commonly understood in northern part of India.

  • Muy tranquilizante.

  • Thanks

    Hare Krishna

  • This verse makes me feel like Krishna is infront of me and i'm imploring for forgiveness... It brings me peace of mind and remind me of my purpose on earth... It sends chills through my spine...

  • @bhasinuscuscable

dude you are wrong. Please stop calling the race as hindus. The entire planet was called Bharatvarsha. The World war of Mahabharat not only ended the Vedic Empire on the earth but also caused the downfall of the super advanced civilization of Aryavrata. Trust me, I've done a lot of research on this.

  • @emperor0989 You are right. The Bhavishya Purana says that during the early portion of the first half of Kalyuga (during the advent of Jesus Christ) a clear territory between the Aryans and the mleccha was formed. The lands west of Sind (modern day Pakistan) were considered mleccha territory.

  • @emperor0989 Yea you are correct. The fall of the Vedic Civilization's power occured during the Mahabharat age. But the fall of Vedic Civilization happened after the Maharaj Parikshit's empire. Kali Yuga is the sole responsible unit for all the suffering, impiety, and cruelty in the world...

  • Hinduism is so beautiful. I hope one day westernised hindus will realise how rich our culture is! :)

  • wat a great voice

  • can anyone post a link for me of this verse written in sanskrit like an image

    thanks

    x

  • Jai Shree Krishna

    Jai Bharat

  • Say this chant every morning. And believe in it.

It really fuel your passion for Bharat.

    Jai Bharat!

  • He has already come. Click on my user name and then on my website, 'Nuclear Supremacy For India Over U.S.', in my profile.

  • This is my fav verse ... just amazing and the way singer sang it was like krsna is really coming..

  • My prayer to Lord Krishna:Come down to earth and save this World..Fulfill your promise,Almighty.

  • @dhireshacharya

    krishna is already here.

  • He Will. Just wait for the right time.

  • @dhireshacharya

He is already there in the form of Holy Name -

    Hare Krishna Hare Krishna

    Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

    Hare Rama Hare Rama

    Rama Rama Hare Hare

this mighty mantra is stronger than Kali yugas influence.

  • Whenever I lose focus, this verse reminds me to continue to do my duty

  • Belive in Karmayog.

Karma: The purpose of your birth.

Karma : What you give is what you get teturned.

  • as this verse had and always will maintain its trueness ,theres no need to fear of dec 2012 . lord krishna will descend down to this earth and save all his devotees , what we need is to follow karma and believe in him.

    jai shree krishna

    jai sai ram

  • Agree

  • @saivishal16

i completely agree... and besides it is not the end of the word 2012... just rubbish .... maybe something bad will happen in 2012... but before the world "ends" Lord Kalki will appear, and even then Satya Yuga will start... not the destruction of the world "water fills up the worlds"...

    radhe radhe!!

  • @radha25 Haha you are right. The Kaliyuga is supposed to end in c 450,000 years. We have a long way to go. In spite of the all the problems the world faces today, the current time period is called the golden age of Kali Yuga. Following the 10,000 year golden age, which will end c. 6900 A.D. , the true merciless portion of Kaliyuga will begin. And during before that time (c.6900 A.D.) the Vaishnavas will either attain Vaikunta, Goloka Vrindavan, or the Heavanly planets.

  • @VShelat93

i agree thats why i am hoping that i go the Krishna (goloka virndavan) ASAP--this life.. im only 17 lol!

im tired of the whole cycle of birth and death. mainly its school but still ..(haha)

    radhe radhe!

  • While we're wishing that God would incarnate on Earth, this verse is pretty clear: See God won't come down from the heavens at the first sign of evil - but rather the messengers will come first. When they've exhausted their efforts to no avail, then we'll see an incarnation - but God comes to rescue the good, rather than to destroy evil. Evil implodes upon itself. Then, when evil has gone, God re-establishes dharma, and this happens millenia after millenia...

  • you are right, pray kaliyug should end in near future.

  • if gita is for us to recite and learn then.. the hidden message and metaphors...AHAM...AHAM..AHAM... means me..myself..I..we...(the lord is within u n me ...antaryami..which always raise the guilt conscious during our wrong doing n duty conscious to do the dharma)

therefore it doesn't mean we have to wait for the emergence of parameswar to erect the dharma, it is i/we our duty to stood (srjayaam aham) as kshatriya to estalish the good mankind.

    long live mankind

    sarvam visnu mayam jagatey

  • well said...i agree

  • A very nice verse. Gives humans something to fall back on.

He needs to arrive soon to help humantiy in this millenium

    Jai Shree Krishna

  • you are right my friend

  • @jaiPawanPutraHanuman same here!

  • wow me too ...

  • yeah.

  • @akhil8 hi my friend

  • well i believe god resides in us common people andif gos has to manifest himself he will do so throughus so just depending on him to appear and make thigs corect well i think we all need to break this vicious cycle of ignorance and carelessness god helps them who help themselves . its true he does manifests himself for mankind but god really has gifted up humans alot more then we realise

  • thank you

  • Wow, exquisitely beautiful and lovely... thank you so much for sharing!

  • Thank You, I am really glad other people have enjoyed it as much as I do.

  • Actually, I was in a dire need to find a new name for my account and that is the reason why I named this one so. :).

I barely get to watch TV shows back at the base. However, now I am on my annual vacation and hence am able to watch your videos. Jai Shri Ram.

    Jai Bhagwan Krishna ki!

  • SIMPLY WONDERFUL!

  • It is quite amazing, man, I am glad you liked it too.

And if your name is based on the King of Queens comedy sitcom of Kevin James, then I got to say, that show is hilarious.

  • Oh Lord Krishna, i cant tell how much love we do, Pls come and save this world. U r the only one almighty, thanks for uploading this verse, i've been looking for this frm ages.

  • If Lord Krishna was around brother I am sure he would have counted on us to perform our Karm and Dharm and confront the problems of the earth by ourselves.

    Jai Krishna bhagwan ki!

  • that boy, my best friend, the one with the flute and peacock feather, he rocks! he is all beautiful, all happiess, all kindness, all knowing.

thank you very much. May that boy, my kanha, our kanha bless you

  • Thank You very much.

May he bless all of us.

  • i love this soo much that my heart beats according to it

  • Hare Krishna...!!!

The world is... so............. WEAK!!! Everyone prayers for a saviour!!! Chritians wait for the second coming of Jesus and Hindu's wait for the second coming of Krishna... He said "tadatmanam srjyamaham"... which means, "at that time, 'manifest' me"

Still you people have not got the message?

  • I understand and fully accept your message of 'with humanity not religions'. But your translation is incorrect. I don't know if you are Indian or not. If you were an Indian who grew up in India you would know what this Shloka means. It was spoken at the start of a TV serial called Mahabharata. And it means to me and a whole others that god is on the side of the truthful and the protectors of Dharma and Karma.

  • Bajrangi ji,

Yes, God ( = Vishnu ) is on the side of truth but often God waits too long b4 evil is destroyed as depicted in the epics and puranas. So that means those who suffer were destined to do so due to their own karma.

In India, we know congress is evil and so are many politically motivated cults, they continue to exist at the expense of dharma. In Kashmir pilgrims no longer safe and Hindus had to leave and become refugees. ,, Some redemption is overdue from Shri Vasudeva.

  • @highmanspirit no Tadatmanam srjyamaham means at that time I manifest myself. It means he comes ; what you said is ''manifest me'' which would imply that we the conditional souls could manifest him at our will. This ofcourse is wrong.

  • @VShelat93 Omg U R replying everyone... ok, well, who decides wht is correct? do u REALLY feel u r worthy enough to point mistakes at others.... BLUNTLY????

I am not bullying u but, u need to understand... i think u r a kid in mid-teens who needs to learn how to be "politically correct" and yes, am bold enough to say this bluntly :)

  • @highmanspirit I am merely telling you what it means in Sanskrit. :) And when did I become politically incorrect? I did not question or insult anyone's religion or belief. Anyway I am not criticizing you; I just thought to clarify the meaning of the sloka. I am sorry if I offended you.

  • "O descendant of Bharata, whenever and wherever there is a decline in

religious practice and a predominant rise of irreligion - at that time I

    descend Myself. (Gita 4.7)

  • sambhavami yuge yuge!!

  • This slok is 100% true and Krishna comes in this age of Kali by His POWERFUL holyname which is non different from himself!! Harer nama harer nama harer nama evakevalam Kalau nasteva nasteva gatiranyattha!!!! Hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare!! All victory to Krishna's Holy name! Thank you for posting this powerful sloka!

  • Thank You, for liking it.

I just enjoy the fact that so many people liked this verse as much as i do.

  • Beautiful verse!

  • Thanks for uploading this. Its a pity most of the younger generation considers itself 'atheists'. They don't believe in god... They don't have respect for our cultural heritage. May God bring some sense to them.

Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bholenath ki

PS - I am just 21...And this is wat i see from my peer group. :(

  • i strongly agree with u ... its sad...but they will ''hopefully'' understand the beauty of which ever religion they follow.

    Jai Shri Krishna

  • Thank you for putting this on Youtube for us to hear and watch. And thank you for the translation to help us Westerners better understand. Judging by the English text, I'd say our world at this time is ready for the advent...to reestablish the principles of religion. karen devaki

  • hindus unite and fight against the islamic invasion on the soils of our country history says u need 2 protect u religion start a fight against this so called mujhadeens

  • Hindus, please unite!

teach the wonderful doctrine of the Bhagavad Geeta to your kids,

    preserve your great culture, heritage!

jai sree krishna! har har mahadev!

  • Well said, brother. That is exactly how I feel. There is so much to learn about dharma and purusharth from Bhagvad Gita itself. It should be a part of our everyday reading.

jai sree krishna! har har mahadev!

  • You are right brother. We need unity. We seriously need it. We need unity in preserving, fighting back, research everything, else we will get extinct.

  • yes. I can't understand why we can't use a language like Sanskrit for conducting scientific research in all fields in India. Any publications through this research would have to be translated to other languages such as English and French. But, in the end it will cause people who speak those languages to learn sanskrit in order to read those publications in their original form.

  • @jaiPawanPutraHanuman Good point; If Sanskrit was still the scholarly language in India and if the Vedic texts were taught then perhaps our society wouldn't be so degraded.

  • @VShelat93 come on!

lets talk about what we have today!

if u dont change with time, u r useless

  • It is this verse in the Bhagwad Gita that explains the various AVATARS of Lord Vishnu which have appeared again and again in every age !!

This explains the arrival of Sri Ram, Sri Krishna, Guru Nanak, Gautam Buddha, Jhulelal, etc., etc. Now we are awaiting the Kalaki Avatar.

Many, Many Thanks for uploading the video !!

  • Yes, it also helps remind me that all those people quietly living their lives on the principles of Dharma are being watched over.

  • Indeed ,this mantra gives you inspiration .

    Jai Shri Krishnaji

  • Ya, it just gives me hope that the land of India is being watched over by God. its been 5000 years since we settled here. So many civilizations have come and gone and we continue to exist.

  • Dear brother, we hindu were innocent, thats why our religion got supressed so much by aliens with their own ideology. Hinduism is oldest religion and its least. If u see other religion which cames centuries later they are spreading like wildfire. Its because they are forcing. Samething in India and Nepal too, we let them live in our place now they want to rule. Now its time to unit and fight. Its now or never. Time is near. Its our responsibilty.

  • although this is a really good phrase, it's not by puneet issar. i am pretty sure this is nitin mukesh, son of the late mukesh.

  • Thank You, for your comment amitabh. I have been trying to find out who sung it too. But i just vaguely remember a documentary on it saying it was Puneet Isaar. But, maybe it wasn't him.

Can you provide any internet source which says it was Nitin Mukesh?

Thank You, once again. If you could provide the source i would really appreciate it.

  • Hi

It is actually Mahendra Kapoor who sung this Shlok. I have all the Mahabharata on VCD and can give you this info from the original source.

    To All:-

This shlok is actually very powerful but it doesnn't mean that we should refrain from doing our karama and wait for the Lord to manifest itself. Defend your ideology and learn from this great epic.

  • Thank you, very much for this Information. I have always wanted to know that.

Mahendra Kapoor was a great singer. Bhagwan unki aatma ko shanti de.

Satgur Hoye Dayal is a sikh sangeet, I have heard it too and like all sikh sangeet its very beautiful and peaceful.

    Once again, Thank You.

  • hi

No probs! Just like to point out that it is referred to as GURBANI. Best to keep the info clear and unambiguous. Lol. Although, all Gurbani is in the form of poetry and verses but you know what I am talking about here, right!

Keep up the good work. If you have any more shloks with meanings, It will be great to hear them on youtube.

  • You are right 'satgur hoye dayal' is *gurbani*.

I said 'sikh sangeet' to mention a genre which includes: shabd kirtan, gurbani, gurmat vichaar among others.

I want to put shlok from Bhagvad Gita here but that would require me reciting it and ,unfortunately I wasn't blessed in that regard by ma Saraswati. lol But I am exploring other options in that regard and I would let you know if I come up with something.

  • I think correct term is "Gurmukhi" its a derived language with roots : Devanagiri, Persian, Punjabi(?), Hindi(?), Sanskrit ; words are molded to create a ryhming effect in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib so that one could sing any part using classical music.

  • Bhagwad Gita Chapt 4, Verse 7

    "Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya

    Glanirva Bhavathi Bharatha,

    Abhyuthanam Adharmaysya

    Tadatmanam Srijami Aham"

    "Whenever there is decay

    of righteousness O! Bharatha

    And a rise of unrighteousness

    then I manifest Myself!" ........Continued

  • Continued .....

Bhagwad Gita Chapt 4, verse 8

    "paritranaya sadhunam

    vinasaya ca duskrtam

    dharma-samsthapanarthaya

    sambhavami yuge yuge".

In order to deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of religion, I advent Myself millennium after millennium.

  • ya man, it sounds so awe inspiring almost celestial in the baritone of Puneet Issar(The guy who played Duryodhana). I would love to hear Lata Mangeshkar sing this especially the high pitched part towards the end.

  • Thanks alot man. You too, stay devoted in your work and worship.

  • Shri Narayan Namoh Namah.

    Awesome! Awesome!! Awesome!!!

    So Energetic n So Beautiful.

Keep the great work up Brother.

    *Jai Mata Di*
