hey I have a tip: when u trim the video: all u have 2 do is select the desired point and then right click… you will have a menu showing ur choices so Then u click set start point. u do the same thing when you select the point in which u end.

How do you take out just a small portion in the middle of the movie, and then combine the portions that you want to keep? That trim tool isn't very comprehensive.

you trim the two parts you want to keep, e.g. the start and the end in two different trims then the middle will be erased and when you play the video, both parts will play... if that makes any sense...

okay, so i just spent like nearly an hour compressing a two and a half hour video into 10mins right. And i cant save it! i have tried about 10 million times and i cant..it says that its unable to save the movie and that i should find any missing items or remove any unusable item in my project (something like that). @Maurecia01 ok, I wasn't sure if you were serious since "TRIM" in this context is impossible for still images, so my post was meant as a joke. I'm no movie maker expert, but I say go to photoshop first hand or some generic bundled digicam software instead for still pic editing.

Then, add your videos. Then, go to Video Tools Edit tab. Then, click on Split. It will cut your video into 2 parts.
