a ten minute video took me 7 hours lolz. Its very good tut but for a learner I have to stop the video on every single action and figure out how to do it. 2012 also has some things different.

@banshi68 haha that's all good, the more you use Maya the quicker you'll become. It's a good idea to learn the interface and the main editors before trying to model a complex object though!

Thanks man, glad the videos are helping. There's only the hand to do now, then will do final tweaking to clean everything up, it'll probably be just over 40 videos, was originally aiming for about 25 but wanted to keep everything on camera. Cheers!
