I don't know where you got your misinformation but Bruce didn't coin the term Jeet Kune Do until the early 70's. Bruce only studied Wing Chun under Yip Man and Tai Chi from his father prior to coming to America in 1958 when he was 18. From there he studied various styles of combat to form JKD. He was ahead of his time since what he was developing and teaching is basically what evolved into what is known as mixed martial arts today.

dancers can be better fighters then most fighters. I see alot of mma fighters with bad sense of balance and rhytm. Balance coordination in conjunction with fast movements means better footwork. Mohammad ali had great footwork look where it got him. He probably danced to exercise. A good way to improve footwork. Most of the fighters I see on tv are horrible. Unsure of where to step. Stepping to far in or too far back and losing fights because of it. Don't make fun of dancing.
