It does remind me of Clockwork Orange, but the moral of both of them is way different. This is just a slap in the face, no happy ending. Just as we thought the victims would at least get some justice NOPE! A clockwork orange is similar in the way that you think evil will lose and in the end of both evil always prevails. So I just tottally contradicted myself by agreeing with you when i was trying to differentiate the films.

i dont think this film is anything like clockwork orange.

For one in the end of clockwork orange the bad guy becomes good (in a way) In Funny Games they get away with it.

The only thing theese films have in common are the bad guys are well manored and wear neat clothing. =] x x x Funny Games is a statemnet against violence and i dont think Clockwork Orange was x

The gloves are a reference to the old-school cartoons like Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse. The old-school cartoons had extreme violence and was put across as funny.
