  • You done that in your chamber?!?!?

  • is the smoke toxic

  • @MacsCanfly the violet vapor is highly toxic.

  • How did you initiate the reaction? It seems like some strong acid...?

  • As a catalyst used a couple of drops of ordinary water. The higher number would have led to an explosion (eg, if placed under a jet of water).

  • where did you get iodine? :D

  • It not absolutely so. Yes, iodine is not suitable for breath and chemically-is aggressive. It can cause burns of a nasopharynx, an eye, skin... But, unlike, to chlorine, bromine, etc., it is poisonous for an organism only in considerable quantities. In my video safety measures are not shown, but I assure, these steams almost did not inhale, the window has been opened, and after experiment the room has been aired by the fan.

I thank for anxiety, but everything is all right =)

  • are you mentally ill? that is some of the most toxic fumes you can intake

  • did i jus witness what i thought i did ???? in your room all dat iodine gas do u not know it is highly poisoness???

  • wtf....did you just try to kill yourself? I mean the purple I2 fumes were nice but not very healthy.....secondly where did you get all the iodine because you used alot all at once... i have a hard time extracting it...really that should have been done outside..or in the garage or under a fumehood.... im building my own fumehood so Im thinking that its not an impossible option but ...wow...good chemistry..but not very intelligently safe
