  • Here is an account of a real revival where young people didn't need to get "fired up" to change their culture. Everybody, young and old, experienced revival and renewal.

    Revival in the Hebrides

    watch?v=g8NCXwl0UDg

  • True Christianity is not about rock concerts & rock & rap stars. I attended a few Christian concerts & they're a fun way to spend your weekends - certainly better than going to bars & partying like the world - but it's not the way to give young people a TRUE sense of walking with the Lord. Why does it need to be DARK? Why do kids need to scream like DEMONS? If you study the history of revivals, you know that previous generations didn't need loud music & rock music to get right with God.

  • I hate pep rallies and motivational speakers. It gives Christianity a bad name. There are no altars in the New Covenant so giving an altar call is non-biblical.

  • i was there in the govenor box i love this but not as much as i love God. Freak the people who pressed the dislike button!

  • i was there in the govenor box i love this but not as much as i love God.

  • i cant wait for this year:)) GO TEAM GOD! :)

  • I went to one of these, looking back it's really stupid. It's based on screaming and psychosis, not on contemplation and peace. jesus' words: "learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart" matt 11:29

and check out the story in 1 Kings 19:11

  • I agree. I am a Buddhist but respect others beliefs. I actually think theres a lot to learn from the bible, its a fantastic book and true christianity promotes peace and loving your neighbor and turning the other cheek NOT getting whipped up into artificial psychotic frenzies.

I think if Jesus comes back he'd be ashamed at quite a lot of the things that people do in his name.

  • @iscream22 if you are a Buddhist then perhaps you should be cautious when analyzing the principles of other belief systems.

The Bible is a Middle Eastern book, and Middle Easterners are quite expressive people. The Bible itself is full of exhortations to shout for joy and triumph, it is not a book of withdrawn and controlled individuals . It is a book of passionate and expressive souls. They tore their clothes when saddened, danced and shouted when happy etc.

  • @taliaziz

Do you know what the word "gentle" means there? it is (especially in Greek) an interrelational word. It has do with being gentle TOWARD OTHER PEOPLE, loving. Someone who is loving is also humble.

You seem to be valuing qualities like "looking dignified" over the deeper MORAL values that the Bible ACTUALLY teaches.

As for the subject of dignity, maybe you need to check out the story in 2 Samuel 6:14-23 featuring David a man "after God's own heart"

  • Omalley: Hmm, let me give you the list of killings that have been caused by Atheism:

1919-1987, USSR, over sixty-seven million were killed.

1949-1987, China (PRC), thirty-five million killed.

Also, a man by the name of Vox Day made a discovery. He discovered that 22 Atheist regimes committed 153,368,610 murders were caused by them in the 20th century.

I'm sorry, but Atheists have committed more atrocities than Christians have. Even in the Crusades.

  • just because the population is bigger now and more people are killed doesn't mean that the atrocities are 'better' than in the Crusades and the second world war brought by the hands of mislead Christians

  • @taliaziz

The population has nothing to do with it. In the first 20 years of the Spanish Inquisition about 2000 people were illed. The population allowed for slaughter of a much much greater magnitude. Millions were killed in the Inquisition but it was over a very long period of time. The inquisition aquired it's insidious reputation prior to 20th century events that make it look like a walk in the park by comparison.

  • I'm sorry Vhoone, but I'm only going on the legacy you Christians have left.

I mean historicaly Christians are an extremely violent people.

    The Crusades

    The Spanish Inquisition,

    The Salem Witch Trials,

The genocide of the Native Americans

And the persecution of of any other group or race that dosen't subsribe to your religion. (open a history book)

So when you use the word "war" I assume you mean violence will ensue

  • do you really think that the "war" we are taking about involves killing and stuffs like that? don't be too narrow minded..

please, you are the one who must thinkbefore you do something.

  • Do you think Christ really wants you to wage war under His name? What happened to peace, understanding, tolerance, forgiveness?

This is why you christians will never win. You go against all the things the Saviour taught.

Think very carefully before you launch another crusade. You lost the previous ones, and you'll lose this one too.

In-fact, you already lost the war

  • all ii know is whats the point of leaving negative comments cusz noone is going to listen to what yu have to say. brainwashed? bro yur brainwashed by the devil this is why yu cant understand God becuase the devil has ya mind allll twisted

  • ok all of you guys that are bashing this! u have no right to say anything until u have actually gone to it. i guarantee if u go it will change your life forever! i have been to 3 of them so far and i am planning on going again this year.

  • sorry douche bag, but I don't need some bullshit fiction book to tell me how to run my life. You are some seriously brain-washed retards. Do you not realize that the bible/all religion is total BULLSHIT?!

  • For one, i noticed that you said that the bible is a "fiction book", well, you do realize that the holy bible is the most historicaly acurate document of all time, right? hmmm...I didn't think so. You do realize that without God than you have no purpose? if there is no God, than you are worth no more than a slab of concrete? because without God, than you have no soul.

  • Give me proof that we have a soul? How about THIS for thought, i say reincarnation is fact. Where do you think you were before this lifetime? Just floating in a eternal dark void of nothingness?

  • lol well it sounds to me that you need all the help u can possible get. The Bible is not fiction at all. Brain-washed? please it is our choice to believe what we want we are not forced to go to this or to believe it, just as you are not forced to.. but please dont go around bashing a religion just because its different than your own.

  • God loves you, he wants a relationship with you...he wants to give everything Good...He didn't bring you into being to torture you but to live with you in a growing relationship.

  • people say not to try and sell in this watered-down preachy popular music but that is exactly what the world does with their music talking about drugs, sex, and putting women down! They think they're spreading a good message to young people??? Well they better think again and get ready cuz God is about to move drastically in the world of young people and start tearing down satans house and ways of destruction through his music for them!
