I knew they had played this at Dale Earnhardt's funeral, and so we decided to play it at my brothers funeral after he lost his long long battle with cancer. please pray for my pawpaw in the consecutive years he lost two sons and his wife for over forty years, it has took a tramendous toll on him, and he is really down then earlier this year he lost his dog, he loved that dog, he is really struggling, so please pray for him, he gives all he has to god, he has played gospel in rest homes but he can't no more so please keep him in your prayers.

My best friend died in a car wreck in 2009. At 13 or 14 years old he told me "Man if i die before you i want you to place this song at my funeral." Thursday Sept. 1st he would be turning 18. Everytime i hear this it send me to tears. But i always know God has one more angel watching me.

Its been 3 years since God called my uncle home on his birthday of June 12th 2008... He was a best uncle I ever had, what a guy he was. He sure was, He shared his birthday with my sister it was a hard time we went through. But I know he's at a much better place then before, he's more happy, safe with my cousins and my aunt.

My father passed away in 2000, I heard this song 20min. prior to that fateful call. I chose it for that reason. Now I've been given notice my mom has 6 months at the most and she has me playing it for her now so she can hear it before her services.

This was played at my only son's funeral. He was murdered by a coward in 2007. He was only 17. The little coward was 18 , and in prison for 25 years, he is black , so he has all the comforts of prison, basketball, drugs, ETC. You may say i am racist, I am not , but my only son is dead , so who cares what anyone thinks.

I lost 2 grandpas and a grandma and classmates 1 back in 1999 of a self inflected gun shot wound and i now lost a female hs classmate from Cancer! it's not going to be easy @ my hs reunion i'll probably bawl @ it.. you know the old saying what goes around comes around! My mother was an enormous Vince Gill fan. She would turn her radio up and sing his songs all day. She passed away 2 years ago. Sometimes I listen to this song just to cry a little and feel close to her again. Its sort of funny because otherwise I'm a metal head. :p
