  • Rumple reminds me of Snape from the Harry Potter books...

  • was the end Rolling in the deep? I thought iI heard it.

  • Yeah I totally have a thing for rumplestiltskin/mr gold =p

  • oh man, that was cool. it just flowed perfectly and the background music went really well with the dialogue but didn't drown it out. its really good!

  • Aha you used rolling in the deep as the background music :)

  • Haha xD My name is Emma. He saying my name is so weird!

  • @PaddySnuffles */SPOILER\* in the beauty and the beast episode it is revealed that Mr. Gold does remember that he is Rumplestilskins, and that he had a lover but it ended in a very sad and tragic way.

  • @warriorsstone hey... it didn't end in tragic way because that was the regina's lie... The last scene in the episode....

  • Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold has to be one of my favorite characters out of this whole show!

  • I think there is sum good in him Rumpel/Mr. Gold....keep in mind he was human before. I got goose bumps when he said he repeated her name (EMMA) that is such a beautiful name :-)

  • MORE! MORE! MORE!

  • GREAT JOB!!!!

  • Yes, I'm sure he knows, and Rumpelstiltskin isn't crazy, he knows exactly what he's doing. Love the vid and great music.

  • so do you think mr. Gold knows of the curse and knows he's rumpelstiltskin?

  • @PCC4102 Rumplestiltskin's like the Dumbledore of OUaT. A tad creepier and more deranged at times, mind you, but like Dumbles all the same. It wouldn't surprise me. :)

  • This is really cool. I like how the Adele music fits the scenes

  • Beautiful, and I agree with your train of thought in this presentation of Rumpy. I've been re-watching the episodes from the beginning and it's amazing how one picks up those subtle nuances more on the second view. Mr. Gold remembers being Rumpy. It's clear as day! He knows Emma, where she comes from, and still knows she can break the curse!

  • I liked it a wonderful section

What is the name of beautiful music

    شكـــراً

  • @HANOUF14 It´s a piano/cello cover by ThePianoGuys of Adele´s "Rolling in the Deep" :)

  • Nice mix of the character. It truly shows his good and bad side, which he does have. And the last ep explains why that is. He wasn't born bad.

  • I love this video! Rumpelstiltskin is my favorite by far, he's the one to watch out for.

  • I love the way your mind works I too had him pegged for telling the story to Henry so as to bring Emma to storybrook!!! But I hope he get's to be a Good guy he was the one always doing all of the work in all of the fairytales & no~one ever seems to me to know how to keep a promise! I just found out they are having a "Once upon a time " Marathon Sunday! Not sure just yet what time ! Thanx for showing us the great vid's! Tessa~~~

  • I kinda think somehow that he's Henry's father

  • @Hollymayewho So you're saying that Emma had sex with him? No, she never even knew him until she went to Storybrooke. Unless you mean like in an adoptive kind of way, which doesn't make sense either, since Regina his Henry's adoptive mother.

  • @thejenerator13 What I meant was that since he's kinda of been planning this from the beginning and since he knew about Henry when he was born, I think that he somehow left the town and tricked Emma into having sex with him by alcohol or enchantment and she dosent know it was him.

  • @Hollymayewho Hmm..I see. That's an interesting theory! I guess we'll just have to wait and see! :) Keep watching!

  • @Hollymayewho I hope he is ;)

  • as cool as that would be....if Mr. Gold *were* Henry's father Emma would have gone "you!" when she saw him in storybrooke...17/18 years old or not at the time she got pregnant, I think she'd recognize someone she slept with

  • @Hollymayewho That is a pretty crazy awesome theory.

  • Rumps is just incredibly misunderstood!!! I am exactly the same where i tend to like characters like him. And Robert Carlyle does such an outstanding job at playing him it makes me love him even more!

  • Rumpel isn't evil, he's just up to no good most of the time. He does things to his own advantage. He loves to make a bargain. If people are so desperate to say they would do " anything" in return. Well that is just their problem or stupidity. He's crazy and very intelligent and that's a dangerous combo. Love him and love the vid!

  • @clois95 Umm...just wait til next episode. :)

  • @clois95 Check out the episode called Skin Deep...

  • Hm...the way I see it, he's kinda on his own side in this. As long as he gets what he wants in the end, I think he's perfectly happy. I don't know. That's just my opinion

  • Today do I bake, to-morrow I brew,

    The day after that the queen's child comes in;

And oh! I am glad that nobody knew

That the name I am called is Rumpelstiltskin

  • Thank you so much for that video! I'm a MrGold/Emma shipper as well, and I also can't believe he's only evil. After all even the Writers said his motivations were "always more complicated" than what it seems so he can't be plain evil, there's definitely more to him. I love the parallels with Emma's name you made and the song behind too!!

  • I would agree Mr. Gold is not on the same morality plane as Regina. However, I'm not sure if he is going to be better or worse. He does seem to want the curse broken, but I'm not sure its for good reasons. It's hard to know what he wants, but he does specialise in faustian pacts that always leave people in at least as much trouble they were in before they made the deal. Perhaps now he's just trying to ensure that Regina is punished, just like everyone else is for their deal.

  • @Lifeisshort214

    DING DING DING....

And exactly WHO was "Faust" making a pact with?

    I think you've got it.

Everything is for his own purposes.

  • @kimbis I agree, but who says those purposes will be completely bad for others? :)

  • @shadowhisper Ah, but that's the point. You THINK that you are going to benefit from your deal with Gold/Rumpelstiltskin, but in the end it is not so. Go ahead, give me ONE example where it worked out the way the other person thought it would.

  • @kimbis Hey, he warns everyone up front. "All magic comes with a price!" if they're silly enough to decide to make a deal with the man if he hasn't even set the terms as to what he wants, that's officially their problem. I was rather upset at Cinderella's story--he gave her everything she wanted, she agreed to give him something, then when she found out what he wanted she got his magic taken away and captured the guy. Not cool :( But I he knew what he was doing, why else would he sign?

  • @shadowhisper EXACTLY! and Maybe he knew he had a chance to 'redeem' himself with Snow and getting Emma's name(*shrugs*). and Yeah I was(and still am) mad at that episode just like you.

  • @kimbis It seems Snow and Prince are getting what they asked for - Ema came through without being effected by the curse and he made sure she came back to town on the 28th. Now that I think of it, I wouldn't be surprised if he has something to do with Henry's knowledge of the curse. Obviously he want's the curse broken. But not because of the agreement, but because it's convenient. Magic beats money. He's conniving, selfish and that's why I like him.

  • DAMN I love the editing on this thing. I keep rewatching it and I'm just blown away every time. Wonderful work!

  • this whole vid is fodder for the Mr. Gold/Emma shipper in me. yeah sometimes I think the guys we paint as evil in shows aren't as black and white as all that...and that they should maybe end up with the main "good" girl.

but as we see with Rumpel he's still between...though he seems to be leaning on the "good" side currently at least

  • great, great and great again! Love the character...music is very nice!!!

  • Wait, is that...Rolling in the Deep? The background music? I've never heard of this show, but it looks interesting. What is it about?

  • @BethGoth15 Yes! The instrumental version is by a group called The Piano Guys. The show is called Once Upon a Time and it's about every fairytale character we've ever read about having been transported by a curse to our world and no one can remember who they once were. It's pretty cool, the sixth episode comes on tonight so you wouldn't have too much to catch up on if you wanted to check it out. Warning: It is rather corny at times XD

  • @shadowhisper That does sound interesting! I'll have to see if it shows in the UK.

  • @BethGoth15 If you have Hulu over there all the episodes are online if you really wanted to check it out XD It is pretty cool, I'm just happy there are a few good fantasy shows still on tv!

  • Great video! I agree about Rumpel/Mr Gold...sometimes he comes off as a 'bad guy' but there are parts like when he's demanding Emma be kept safe he's a 'good guy'. Although blowing up Cinderella's fairy godmother was not nice.
