Air Ontario just wanted desperately to be more than it was at the time, to better get into bed with Air Canada. They did a piss-poor job doing it. How you can possibly run a station, with an F-28, which is so demanding of ground equipment, without an air start cart, is beyond comprehension.
I have flown into La Guardia before and I hate it. Specifically, I hate the water surrounding both ends of the runway 13, 22 and 31. As for the prisoner on the Dryen flight, as long as he had committed murder, they should not have continued pursuing criminal charges. I don't mean to be morbid, but he has been punished enough. As for the airlines, these guys are completely stupid, not even worth the bullets it would take to shoot them. Sounds like Air Florida flight 90.
