  • Your doggie looks bored!!!

  • I would really like to see how you made this one, maybe in the future you could do a tutorial on how to make one of these. Really cool creation you have there.

  • ...wow

  • wow! what type of wood do you use? ^_^

  • @hentajus These are plain old Douglas Fir 2x4s. If I did this again, I would include a truss rod, carbon fiber, or rod of some sort. The Dougals Fir is not really strong enough, it is starting to bow a little. See my other contraption on here, the headless 8 string acoustic.

  • Amazing.

  • Very cool! It's kind of like Bo Diddley meets Steinberger meets Home Depot.

  • OMFG ! IWILL TRY TO DO A BASS

You make your own bridge or you got from somewhere else

And the eletronics??? Mp me the steps plzzzzz

  • Big up! that is reallly f'n cool

  • Good job man. You should be proud of that. Have you seen some of the basses made by Wishbass? ....some of those are an abomination (not all of 'em of course).

  • LOL how many splinters did you get building that?!!!!! It sounds pretty good from here!!

  • @thegreatwavetattoo Thanks ! No splinters on this one. Wenge gives me splinters, though.

  • that is fuckin awesome

  • Dude, that's takin' cheap to a whole new level. LOL!

  • AWESOME ! make me one !

  • @Chad82097 I tune it normal 5 string bass. From low note up, B E A D G. Thanks for looking. Check out the headless 8 acoustic video I just made.

  • I think it looks badass just the way it is and sounds pretty sweet too!

  • Rofl, and the best thing is that it doesn't even sound too bad xD

But honestly, how much did the parts cost you totally? I've been wanting to try fretless bass for a while, and that thing there looks like an insanely good option....

  • @Lucidmakexael24695

Thanks ! The wood is just a 2x4, so maybe $8. Strings $35. Pickup $50. Uncle Bob Bridge parts $10. 1/4 inch jack 5$. So about $110. Since I made it, the neck is starting to bow a little. So you may want to add a truss rod or carbon fiber.

  • All luthiers, eat your heart out !! lol.

Cheaper than a Precision, I guess?

  • sick dogs

  • star trek=BIG WIN

  • good one:) well done:)

  • lol

  • @itsnotbudder hahahahahahahahaha

  • Pathetic.

  • tu mama pendejo

  • luv it! :)

  • LOL! CRAZY! IN A GOOD WAY!

  • Riiiiiiight......

I admire your.... I don't know really, but its certainly different. Keep it up?

  • ROFL . . with the dogs too.

    This is fucking great.

  • I love how you have the bridge/tuners, great idea imo.

  • really? people confuse you with victor wooten?

  • I get that all the time.

  • lol dumb

  • I bet Les Claypool would jam the hell outta this thing. It definately has the sound that comes from a Primus record.

  • XD XD XD XD LOLLLLLLLLLLL!!

  • Wow! You really went there with it! Great idea!

  • lol :40... STAR TREK THEME

  • now you must paint it! XD

  • I will once I find a paint that matches the true beauty of the instrument. :) It actually has 3 or 4 coats of poly on it.

  • i think its pretty nice

i just wish you would play something with it other than a few notes

  • I wish I could play more than a few notes on it :) Actually I have gig'd with it a few times and am a little better. It served its purpose, to validate the bridge design.

  • Sir, NICE JOB!

Love the music at the end too ;)

    Woo!

  • Thanks ! I thought it was pretty funny.

  • its pretty amazing man

  • Well, that's pretty clever. It sounds nice, too. Good job!
