I love how the trop is in my hometown of st.pete. I play baseball for my high school (Gibbs High School) and i love how everytime that i can have the trop as an inspiration for me to work hard so i can play on the tros field.

The reason the Rays are inside is because it rains every day and it is sweltering outside during the summer, look at the marlins, no1 goes to marlins games cuz it is hot and dolphin stadium is crappy

dude, it's Florida. The hurricane state. It's humid, rainy and awful outside. Not to mention thunderstorms. You'd be complaining of canceled games if not FOR the dome making it playable despite the weather. Being indoors doesn't change the game experience. Unless you want to melt in Florida heat or be caught in rainstorms every game.

I love the trop! I am a red sox fan and I travel 1500 miles 3 times a year, They do a great job and Family Sunday's are the best!
