This sounds great on iTunes, but this live version is horrible. Especially with that person laughing... WTH LOL! It's just too pitchy, and off kilter for some reason. I love their version, but not live...buy the recorded version and you can hear the beauty of the a capella. ;)
That woman singing, her voice doesn't fit this song at all. She is actually pretty annoying.. and the backing is kind of annoying too.. I don't like this very much..
Bjork herself often mimics throwing things when she performs live. See the jools holland perfomance. The audience clearly doesn't see the song for what it is.
I wonder if the person laughing is laughing at the singer? If their laughing at the lyrics, they need to listen to the song without the distracting a Capella novelty.
Well it seems this wasn't a Bjork fan audience so the choir drew upon the comedic potential of the lyrics in their performance to make the song more palatable for a mainstream audience. Specifically you can see that the lead singer mimes throwing things off the cliff with her mic hand, which I found to be funny in a nutty way. Other things about her performance are funny/nutty in a subtler way.
I'm not a choir expert, but I found the performance to be great in general. :)

yeah really why is the audience laughing so much,
great arrangement, could of done with a bit less of the soloist i think, but really great.

I don't get why they are laughing when the song talks about jumping off a cliff.
