Good idea. There IS a way to do that. Give your life and heart to Jesus. He died so you may have everlasting life. Even though this physical life surely will end...there is an even better life, in a better land.
awww this was my uncle buddys favorite song -rip -uncle - thanks for showing me how to hold a pool stick when i was 11 -im 41 now and i still havent forgot this song and you
11 years old, 5th grade when this came out. Brings me right back to those hot summer days, the beach, riding bikes, shaggy hair, black light posters in my room... my record player and playing this 45 over and over. Good times.
Funny how songs remind you of times/places. The first time I heard this song I was riding in the car at night in Cincinnati from the annual East/West high school all star game played at Nippert Stadium. The guy driving played in the game, and we were all football players. Awh, the good days, they wont return, but they were great.
The Rain is way. I was a kid when this first came out. But I still remember where I was and what I was doing.....And the beautiful girl that was singing with the radio.
Aw man, I had an AM radio taped to the "high rise" handle bars of my old purple Schwin bike with the banana seat and the slick tire in the back. Also with baseball cards stuck in the spokes jumping over ramps trying to be like Evil Kienevil. It's a wonder we didn't break our necks.
@CentinelThe My dad had a 68' Plymouth Fury III (Mopar forever!!)...me, i had a Schwinn with a banana seat , cheater slick and a set of ape hangers...yeah i put the baseball cards in the spokes too. hangin with friends and eatin pixie stix, sprayin each other with "water weenies" (the original super soakers), playing with steel tipped lawn darts...need i continue?
If you like this, listen to the ORIGINAL by B.W. Stevenson on The Very Best of B.W. Stevenson. He was a Dallas boy and originally recorded Peaceful Easy Feeling in 1971 of the Lead Free album prior to the Eagles cutting it.
Oh man, you have no idea how long I've been trying to find this song and who it was played by?! Thanks bro! I am so happy like a pig that rolls in mud! LOL! :)
Now I just gotta find it to add into my collection.
thank you for peace in afghanistan

In the Australian Outback the Aborigines sleep with their dogs at night to keep warm. An unusually cold night is a “Three Dog Night”

B.W. Stevenson also originally wrote and cut My Maria in 1971 which Brooks & Dunn totally duplicated.
