  • Here she reminds me so much of Carly Patterson, but now that she is older and more experienced she has her own unique style. Looking forward to seeing her in London!

  • DAANNGGG this girls only thirteen!!!! ( 2009 ) SPACTACULAR!!

  • let's ALL say a BIG NOOOOOOO to all this bull!!! this isn't gymnastics anymore, this is EUROVISION!!! how much does pay the USA team to the fig??? I thought we were in a ressetion time and the states didn't have money, I thought we were all suffering because the bad financially managment!! what's with the world???

  • i wish she did a harder dismount. so much potential.

  • She was good. I can't even do a straight jump on the beam without falling off!!!!

  • @crysatgmail hahahaha, sorry, but haha :D

  • She is so amazing!<3

  • Shouldn't someone've moved the spring board?

  • @LisaWalker5 Coaches aren't allowed on the podium for beam.

  • @CobbChallengerGirls They can move the springboard but they have to leave the podium straight after.

  • she looks like david henry from wizards of waverly place!!

    only me seeing that??

  • @xxgooddayrioxx lmao i see it to!!!

  • She has improved so much in the 2011 cup

  • shes great...but im sorry shes just no nastia liukin or shawn johnson

  • She's really impressive.

  • good routine from jordyn!

  • Her mount really shows off her strength. She is a perfect mixture of power and flexibility.

  • lol anna pavlova and nastia luikin are the only gymnasts i know of who can do a side summi without a balance check

  • shes great!

  • Typical American powerhouse routine; I think that Viktoria Komova is in a different league to this girl.

  • @ralucagymnast Oh! Totally! In a different league than any gymnast!

  • she reminds me of carly patterson.(: ..not shawn johnson.

  • i love jordyn leave her alone , its like when people compare every new artist to justin bieber

  • OH MY GOSH, I HATE HATE HATE HATE HOW SHE HAS LIKE A MIX OF SHAWN JOHNSONS SKILLS AND NASTIA LIUKINS SKILLS ! IT JUST AGGRIVATES MEE !

  • @chiuhuh You're an idiot. Shawn and Nastia didn't invent those skills. They're part of a huge code that every gymnast in the world has to pick skills from. Why don't you spend less time expressing hate towards Jordyn Wieber and more time practicing your spelling?

  • @QueenieQue Excuse me ? I don't hate Jordyn, I'm just saying that i don't like how she has most of their skills, not saying that i hate her. And what am I spelling wrong ? because when i said "me" It was an accident I said "mee" Okay ?

  • @chiuhuh You misspelled "aggravates." It is aggravating when people denigrate gymnasts when they overlap skills. I mean, come on, are you kidding me? She has plenty of her own skills, and like I said before, how many gymnasts do all original skills all the time? NONE. You're simply deluded.

  • Wow, this young lady is very good. Kudos to her.

  • she ids amazing!!:)

  • Wow!!!!

  • got really good batteries.... I mean to jump like that is really hard I bet she has some strong legs and great agility

  • I wouldn't compare her to Johnson either. I think Jordyn is more artistic and graceful than Shawn. Give Jordyn time; she'll be the next big star in USA gymnastics.

  • i love jordyn. she's definantly the main one to watch out for! i'm definitely rooting for her and rebecca bross to make the next olympic team. i'd also like to see corrie lothrop try to make a comeback

  • @TheChillyboy88 i no i am thank you

  • @TheChillyboy88 You could know her since you're searchng her up and stuff. It wouldn't be surprising if you did. I know a few gymnasts as well.

  • @TheChillyboy88 im a girl "dude"

  • wow such poor choreography

  • @TheChillyboy88 no probably not.

  • do they use less skills for the B score now? because they seem to be scoring much lower than in 2008. or is it just a new young crop of girls who have to work on their diffculty?

  • she's good but did she ever make it to the olympics??

  • @missgeorgia89 she can't, she's only 13

  • @missgeorgia89 she isnt even old enough to go to the olympics yet

  • Jordyn has been fantastic even when she was in the JO levels. Being in region 5 competition with her ive seen her compete 8-10. She is remarkable and she is going to go far. I dont know how much cleaning up she needs as some other are talking about, obviously she was good enough to beat people who have already been to the Olympics.

  • The rules are also there to protect older gymnasts from unfair advantages. Younger gymnasts haven't hit puberty, they weigh less and they are less likely to get nervous. Not like she'd get to Worlds anyway. She's amazing but she has got to clean it up and grow out of her "kindergarten" routines. I wish her nothing but the best and I'll definitely keep my eye out for her.

  • @ateaara look at the chineese gymnast lol

  • the rules are there to protect young girls from unnessecary pressure by coaches, parents, clubs, national teams, ...

School is very important and they should have a social life besides gymnastics..

  • @viveBelgique yupper!!!

  • theoretically you are right. practically girls leave childhood at the age of 10 latest when they want to become remarkable gymnasts. the rules do not meet reality at all and I agree that they need to get revised.

  • @viveBelgique What's sad though is that most elite gymnasts don't have much of a social life at all. They typically train 40+ hours a week. Shawn Johnson, I had to admire her because she could get by with training about 4-5 hours so her training schedule wasn't as packed and she could go to school dances and such.

  • @violet46 4-5 hours a week or a day?

  • @darkexcalibur87 4-5 hours a day which is nothing

  • @viveBelgique What if they dont want a "social life" ><

  • jordyn wieber

    justin bieber

they where made for each other jkjkjk

  • That's what she says. Haha.

  • the stupid rules ooh i hate them they should let any gymnast compete at the nationals or world championship if they can perform difficulty and good style. this is in my opinion better than the current world champion. I hope in next olympic games we watch gymnasts of any age compete as long as they are good enough to compere, mo matter if they are 12 or 13.

  • @1Timoteo41 i think i actually like the rule bcuz when ur younger ur not as capable 2 do such hard skills and its also so much harder on ur body and when ur 16 ur much more machure also its there 2 protect younger ppl from 2 much pressure on themselves

  • this announcer guy is very negative

  • @xXkenziegurl00Xx totally!

  • Wow she was great !!

  • ya ya this routine rocks and ya shes so young yet

  • did she win women's all around? junior or senior?

  • Its videos like this that make we want to fast forward to 2012. I can't wait to see who the "it" gymnasts are that we will be watching at the Olympic trials.

  • Where has she been I havent heard anything about her after this for 2009

  • Because she's a junior and unable to compete at major competitions.

  • So she wouldn;t be able to compete at Nationals? Shawn did though

  • At junior nationals, which aren't publicized or televised. But she wasn't there anyway due to a hamstring injury, but she was junior champion last year,

  • Oh ok NOW I gottcha thanks!!! = ]

  • this routine is very clean! no wonder this is her favorite event! i have the same exact dismount as her!

  • wow shes good! but surely she'll have more chance of injury- shes doing skills way beyond her years?

  • I'm not going to say. No offense, but you could be some crazy stalker chick

  • lol, yeah, like Shawn Johnson's...

  • she reminds me sooo much of shawn johnson!

  • just think after 2012 there will be a new girl and we'll all be saying that's the new Jordan!

  • she seems so confident even after a balance check =)

  • graceness reminds me of nastia and the steady reminds me of shawn

  • How old is she?

  • she is 13

  • wow, she reminds me a lot of nastia. =) not at the looks or in the body shape, but she certnaly as the same grace.

  • Jordyn goes to my school and her muscles intimidate me whenever I see her

  • i thought something was wrong with that beam. Someone fell off it like 3 times. The execution was not spectacular at the tyson cup

  • i think that Jordyn Wieber has a lot of potential but some of her routines just dont look very special she should try and put her own flair on it kind of like shawn and her strength and nastia and her grace they used their capabilities to the best of their abilities she should find what she is comfortable doing and go for it

  • i agree, but shes only 13 shes got time to mature into more exciting routines as she gets older and better

  • she's just starting, give her a chance guysssssss

  • wow, she's good , I'm looking forward to seeing her in 2012!

  • she did awesome lolwent 2 gymnastics camp at twistars and her and kameran were there lol :)

  • nice leo it seems like that leo is bound for sucess...nastia/all around lol

  • she has the grace of nastia and the power of shawn. 2012 olympics!!!! just dont wear her out!!

  • she kinda has that chelsea memmel 2003 look

  • da kid rips , and wait for 1 more year , when she survives - she will be ripping still . along with the other rippers .......any one of them , on any given day , if and when its their day will win , thats that ...

  • I HATE HATE HATE how they compare her to shawn johnson. jordyn may be doing shawn's tricks, but it doesn't make her a Shawn Johnson. I mean come on, it's SHAWN JOHNSON. Jordyn is a fantastic gymnast, but comparing her to shawn is just ridiculous.

  • You are right but they just compared her to Shawn. It doesn't mean she s Shawn because Shawn is Amazing she is way better!

  • @guitarbabe21 I disagree. Especially on the standing full. She does it way better than Shawn, and she adds a tuck to it. So even more difficult.

As much as I love Shawn, she's overrated.

  • @MNCheer i've always loved nastia shes more gracefull and shawn's thunder legs creep me out but i agree i think she is bit overated like when nastia won the olympics in 08 and their like oh shawn still american poster girl im like americans totally look like that deffinatly

  • @guitarbabe21

Probably compares well to Shawn at the same stage of their careers.

  • @guitarbabe21 I think Jordyn is better now than Shawn was at 13, Shawn was still competing as a junior when she was Jordyn's age, that alone says a lot for Jordyn and her potential.

  • @tmwalkerm In this video Jordyn was still a Junior . . . . Yes she is a Senior now (aged 15) as was Shawn . . . In fact Shawn was World All Around Champion aged 15!!

  • @Manutdcailin I still think Jordyn is better now than Shawn was at that age. I don't remember seeing Shawn compete at that level and be as successful as Jordyn was at 13. I'd like to see videos if they do exist. I'm not disputing that Shawn is talented now, would just like to be able to compare her at 13 against Jordyn.

  • @tmwalkerm Yeah, but Shawn's biggest competition wasn't Bridget Sloan.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 I'm not really a Bridget or Sam Peszek fan, but the next couple years will be interesting to see whether or not Jordyn can keep from burning out or staying injury free.

  • @tmwalkerm I doubt she won't be injured. She's spent half her career hurt it seems.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 yeah that's true enough, luckily for her the Olympics are still a few years away, a lot can happen. Seems to happen to all of them, the price of being talented I guess :).

  • @tmwalkerm Yeah. It's all speculation between now and then. I'm pro-Komova, what about you?

  • She needs to do the arabian double dismount! =)

  • Everyone compare her to Shawn Johnson, but it's just because of the tricks. She is going to look just like Carly in three years.

  • Never seen her compete before. She has surprisingly long and pretty lines based on what I've heard about power being her dominant trait. She is nice to watch.

  • She's thirteen? o.o

  • holy freak she's ONLY 13? and that full wasnt perfect she wobbled a little.

  • I go to her gym Twistars, and she is 13 so yes she is a junior.

  • shes still a junior she just competed in this one meet as a senior because she is so good

  • they had a lot of juniors at this meet from europe.

so she was allowed to compete as a junior

shes just not allowed to compete in competitions such as worlds or the olympics (obviously).

  • get it right shes a senior not a junior. duh!

  • I go to her gym Twistars, and she is 13 so yes she is a junior.

  • I'm a bit confused has she moved up into senior this year or is she still junior?

  • No she's a junior still

  • I think she is a Junior because she is only 13 !

  • Yea, she reminds me of carly, but also Jana Bieger. Now that you think about it, can't you see the resemblence? Her whole look, the hair the body, even her routunes.

  • she looks just like a mini carly patterson.

her body type, the way she does her routines, the dance ability, its kinda freaky! i hope she has as much success as carly did

  • wow that is AMAZING! Im surpeised they didnt move the spring board guess its a good motivation not to fall! She reminda me a lot of Shawn maybe its just because of the standing full but either way AMAZING I hope she sticks with it!!!

  • why wasn't any senoir , for except for Bridget, in these competition ? I know the Olympians are doing other stuff, but Jana Bieger and Ivana Hong ?

  • i know i was thinking the same thing. like wheres sam peszek?

  • thats crazy shes only 13

  • I train at the same gym as her and she is really good at everything she does. SHe is going to get far.

  • remind you of anyone?

    Carly Patterson?

it's too early to say but you never know...

  • she's flying on the beam...perfect body line! & wonderful skill

  • she is awesome for 13

  • she is ROCK SOLID!!!

  • She is so good! She only messed up once and it wasnt even that bad. My brother knows her and talks to her. He goes to the same school. Ya, i feel like famous. jk

  • there is soo much talk about her...but i honestly dont think shes as good as say rebecca bross.

  • OMG all those girls are masochists x_X

  • what a talent for 13 yo!

She likes the difficult stuff and is gonna follow Johnson steps for sure..

About her style, she has much to improve but nothing time cant solve..

I just hope she can handle the pressure and builds her own personality on this sport

  • she is very good but her mount....with the handstand and the head out...it just doesnt look good 2 me

  • wow, her ful twist in back sumersault was amazing

  • nobody really knows if shawn is going to continue gymnastics. she is now on dancing with the stars but who knows if she is going back to the gym?

  • WOW!! shes amazing shes going to be the next shawn johnson!!

  • jordan wieber is amazing and has such a great amount of difficulty in all her routines...

but personality wise and style..a little bit boring

    shes nothing like shawn johnson...

just doesnt have the pride and spark that shawn had.

  • What do you mean, you can't teach a standing full on beam. What a silly comment. Yes, you can. Standing saltos are one of the easiest things to teach since hurdle, roundoff, bhs, are not involved.

  • he wasn't talking about the standing full he was talking about the concentration.

  • lets hope this isn't her peaking and she stays well for the next 3 1/2 years to see her in 2012!!!

  • her standing full is performed amazingly.

  • i know! and can you believe she practically does it from standing on her tiptoes...she's great!

  • very nice lines

  • The next One to get gold...she'll most likely be on the US gymnastics team when the UK plays host to the Olympics in 2012, she'll be about 16 or 17? So she has a lot of competition ahead of her, she'll be ready when London calls in 2012.

  • She is good no doubt but she still had a lower score than shawn and nastia when they won the cup. Do not forget she will get better but so will shawn and nastia HELLO all of them are still teenagers I do think that she will be like old news by the time of 2012

  • Jordyn was competing under a different code of points than Nastia and Shawn were so its impossible to compare the scores.

  • or maybe she will be even Better in 2012. just like nastia was good in 2004-2005... but even better in 2008

  • Isn't Jordyn still a Junior? Why is she competing with the seniors?

  • There isn't an age limit at the American cup an Marta wanted to see how the international judges reacted to her. She is still junior for bout 2 years tho lol

  • Thanks. And do you know if Shawn is going to compete et the US Nationals this year?

  • Sorry i have no idea :s i know she hasn't started training again yet tho

  • She won't be. She has said in interviews that she is taking 2009 off.

  • Oh No. :(

  • I can't believe shes 13

  • Yeah she's amazing! Hope she'll be in London in 2012

  • why werent they competing?

  • They were there as a sign of respect and just to watch.

  • because they arent ready for competition yet. i know nastia has been to some training camps and is back in training, but i dont think shawn is going to compete this year. she is going to be on dancing with the stars.

  • its carly all over again

  • Carly Patterson, yeah in 2000.
