  • there's two things you need to like and one thing you need to have to play this game. BLOOD, MUTILATIONS, AND BALLS

  • In my opinion, New Vegas is better. The storyline isn't the best but the world is great, especially the DLC. the way they're all interconnected and the many foreshadowing to Lonesome Road is amazing. I adore the conflict between the Courier and Ulysses (Which really, the game should have been about).

  • @x0XAlcatrazX0x FO3 had better DLC, Point lookout was the best DLC Ive ever bought.

It also gave people the chance to listen to all the fantastic music from the 30s, 40s and 50s.

Leroy brown was always a personal fave for me, and now my friends love him to :P

  • 30's and 40's music is what music today should be like

  • @Afrozavodsk Other way around

  • Lets hope the generations ahead also get some video games like Fallout to show them the great music from the past

  • I wonder how many people here in the comments never played the orginals.

  • @vault2281 I've seen hoe the original Fallout games were. And I still think the new ones are better

  • @DarkthXizov You are missing something very awesome.

  • @vault2281 I would assume so

  • FNV sucks. Fallout 3 was so much better in everything.

  • @aof4540 There is a time and place for a flame war and it's not on a song as awesome as this. Take it to the forums, troublemaker.

  • @aof4540 Including Music!

  • @aof4540 It didnt suck, sur it wasnt as good as Fallout 3 but it was still pretty fun.

  • this is the theme song that is allways playing in my heed

  • @sappatt69 do you think the clarinet could withstand that

  • Well, i don't know how this argument shit started, but regardless this song is kick ass!

  • @Themarketvalueofpot Dude if your ten and your name is... well what it is. Your parents probably arent the greatest by modern standards, but you have to be brilliant to realize exactly that, The Market value of Pot. Its HUGE. And I applaud you on knowing that todays music sucks. Please whatever you do dont listen to screamo or bad hip hop and rap. If you dont and you make sure your friends dont you could help change our culture for the better. Counter-Culture forever. FTW

  • @SlyAras Lol.. i never considered myself above normal standards for someone of my age,but my kind sir, thank you.

  • @SlyAras

People like you are a rare breed my friend.

  • @wilson09231 Do you mean that in a good way or bad?

  • @inverseactuality *responds with the first and usualy most kind response*

*inverseactuality and vidcirman666 go on a magical post apocalyptic adventure with a dog to solve misteries and kill lots of people togeather*

  • @n00bkilla66 The fallout story is based off of the 40,50's culture in the future (2077) So what happened was the years went by but the culture stayed the same....till the nuclear war. Thats why all the robots look like they were 50's style. I cant explain it that well so go on Wikipedia and search "fallout 3" for the whole story.

  • fallout 3 well never get old

  • 12 people worked for presedent Eden. What?! Its just a random number!

  • 4 people are enclave officers.

  • We had a talent show at my school and 6 of my friends ONLY listen to Oldies and Big Band Music such as Benny Goodman and we danced to his song i think its called SING SING SING or something its only instruments and we dressed like the 30's 40's or 50's Gansters with the suits and hats and danced to it we got first place and the ladies of course=) I wish I was born in the 1930's

  • This video has roughly 175k views.

Other videos by sid phillips have: 700-1000.

Yeah you guys sure do love jazz alright.

  • 4 people are communists

  • Isn't Sid Phillips the emo kid on Toy Story 1?

  • @johnlennon616 not emo but i think so

  • people these days do not apreciate music and all they like is what's new

  • my school has been in its current location for almost 100 years now. its north salem high(:

  • @MsPmonkey i wish my school was old my school is new

you should start a post apocalypse and hang out in the fallout shelter and play fallout

  • there. i have sucsessfully converted every GNR song into an mp3 format to put on my ipod. YESSSSSS!

  • So Sid was Simon Phillips (TOTO drummer) father... Cool

  • @PingaloBill whoooaoaaaaa

  • see this is the kind of music the world needs to bring back! i think people would be happier with this music instead of the reterded hip hop and rap shit and hardcore rock bull shit like that. its sad that this music might not be around in the next 100 years. i think we as people need to bring back this kind of music

  • @muffins847 Well of course it's going to be brought back! Fallouts 1, 2, and 3 take place in like 2250 so of course it's gonna come back! Or it better at least. It will be back when the newer generations start opening their eyes and realizing that their music sucks and that jazz and what not are far superior genres. So until then let's all hope that the future rakes in better music.

  • @deinteil23 amen to that

  • @muffins847 that or get more fallout games with this type of music(:

  • @muffins847 We need to bring back pretty much everything from the 40's EXCEPT segregation

  • @DarkthXizov

lol you literally just said "i wish we could remove 70 years worth of progress"

  • @magicaIpineapple I am not here to argue politics with you, just to listen to music. So leave me be

  • @muffins847 You don't realize that different types of music make people happy? Personally I'd feel depressed and like shit when I hear this music. I find death/black metal makes me happy. It sounds good to me.

  • @muffins847

    easier said than done

if it makes money, people'll stick with it until they find something else that makes more money

  • ha i have my own fallout shelter

  • I was shown into the fallout shelter on our school as there were no offices left for the IT-techs, and I was the guy who worked with the IT. It was built in the 60s so it has a cool retro design, checkerboard style floortiles and old wooden desks. :-)

  • 4 people are members of the Enclave.

  • did u guys know the bully kid in Toy story's full name is Sid Phillips, Wired huh?

  • whoa i forgot this song even had a title lol! you know....cause it's instrumental...but it's easily my fave song in all of FO3!! next to anything goes...and civilization ;3

  • 4 people got their asses kicked by radroaches and bloatflys

  • Such amazing music!

  • Does anyone know where I can get the sheet music for this song?

  • I miss my fallout 3 :(

  • I swear I heard this song on Tom and Jerry before i know it.

  • @MsPmonkey

Yeah, during the Cold War-when people we told being under a desk would keep you safe from an atomic bomb-they would say that if you couldn't go to your home quickly enough in the case of a drill, you could stay at that school to be "safe." But as others have said, you'd in reality be as screwed outside of the shelter as inside it.

  • I don't see why they call it a "fallout shelter", the fallout is the least of problems when a nuke goes off, biggest one would be the complete incineration of anything within a 2 kilometer radius...

...Pfft, and those people were afraid of a little dust...

  • @TheFacelessActivist

only thing it would protect you against really

  • This songs are the bees knees! (get it? it's a reference to.... ah whatever)

  • My whole life this all I've listened to no lies I grew up with my grandpa and he has all these records.

  • I could have sworn this was in a commercial but I can't remember what one? Gap, Old Navy maybe???

  • Gah im glad there was F3 so i could actually find Sid Philips on youtube...

  • Fallout 3 is in the same Font as that sign's Fallout

  • Didn't know that the kid from Toy Story sang this, wow.

  • @5aintLink That was the most clever comment i've read in a while

  • @5aintLink He dicided to lose the attitude and did something useful. After volunteering for a time travel session in his later years, he became accustomed to 50's-60's style music and wrote this before his death as his own God-Father.

  • 2 years, 4 dislikes, not bad. Still getting over somebody disliking this, though.

  • @BullshitsMike four people prolly thought they clicked "dis i like" !!

  • lolololololoollollolololllollolol

  • Best music of this game.

  • 444 Likes and 4 Dislikes. Thought that was funny.

  • OMG I PLAY IN A JAZZ BAND AT MY HIGHSCHOOL AND WE PLAYED THIS AND I JUST MADE THE CONECTION!!!!!! LOL

  • @skippy9191 Lucky, I wish our jazz band played this.

  • Psychological warfare not a lot of kids today know of this stuff it would be torture to blast this over some really big speakers

  • I only listen to rap (mainly Tupac and rap before the year 2000),

and i absolutely love this kind of music! Beats all songs they make today for sure!

And @Eirweier what kids listen today isn't rap, it's not even close. It's pop music.

AND I HATE IT! I love how the music back in those days were about the passion they had for it, not just money and fame :D

  • where did you get this song from?

  • Best fallout 3 song yet. I remember walking through the wastes at midday with my Combat shotgun, listening to this. Awesome memories. The kind of memories I want to keep for the rest of my life, and its not often you can say that, about a video game! XD

  • this is the best one in my opinion.

  • iwas ina fallout shelter that had fast internet acces los of food and elvis record store

  • 4 people are RadRoaches that were pwn'd by the enclave eyebot I shot with a tesla cannon!! Liberty Prime Frowns upon those four people and shoots a laser out of his head at them!

  • duck and cover! yea thats gonna help

  • 4 people listen to enclave radio !!

  • well back in the day way back when during the cold war schools where the main thing to go in in a nuclear war. they where big and had room for alot of people but mainly for kids so most schools now have them as decor and a reminder to those times thumps up so all can read

  • im going to vegas mother fuckers

  • THIS IS IT! I love this tune! I've been humming it everywhere and anywhere lately!

  • the first time I heard this song, I was waltzing around and bumped into a mirelurk and got pwned cuz i didn't know that you had to shoot its face to kill it.

  • Rave on !!!!

  • @ryancicocki... MAN you said it! Watch all the kids, "player, styler and bitches" and this crap. They NEVER heared songs like this. Always this "dirty talk" rap and modern music (if you can call it music..) The time where artist written their own song is a long, long time ago.

  • @Eierweier I absolutely hate rap, rhyming is okay, so long as you do it right, not that annoying "yaya yaya yaya uh! uh! check-check it!" nonesense, hell, i'm the "youth"(under 18) and i enjoy the 50's music.

  • @Eierweier im 16 and i absoulutely love this music. i will confess to listening to some modern stuff like screamo, but this will always be on top. amazing stuff.

  • @Eierweier I'm glad there are people who share my principles. Music of today is freaking shit. Rock and old songs bitches!

  • @Eierweier Yeah I agree with you. This music is great.

  • @Eierweier Anit that the truth brother

  • @Eierweier the bands i listen to write there own music....

  • @Eierweier I agree with everything, my favorite genre used to be Rock. And even then i only liked some of the modern rock. I normally listen to the classics. Now i love the Big Band style music. Like old Blues and what not. But, however, i do not agree with you when you claim a lot of modern artists don't write their own music. As far as I know, a lot of them do.

  • @Eierweier i was born in the mid 90's and i couldn't agree more *groan* i'm too young for this

  • @Eierweier Hey now.. I love this stuff, but I also like progressive metal.. like 'Between the Buried and Me' and many other hardcore/metal bands.. (as well as punk, and several several, other genres.)

But I do hate rap.. because rap is crap. haha

  • @LavenousKirby there is good rap check out Atmosphere. Public Enemy, Eyedea and Abilities, and Dalek. And as far as the metal goes... well im not a big fan of BtBaM But i guess theyre alright but I hate most of the stuff that sounds like that. in general I just go by the rule of no keyboards in good metal. Except Fantomas but thats its own genre, not specifically metal. Punk is the shit. Good messages are spread in punk if kids would just read past the Anarchy Death Destruction shit. And yeah.

  • @SlyAras BTBAM is one of the best metal bands... the key makes it all the better haha. It's progressive metal. They are the best at it and they are completely unique.

  • @LavenousKirby They just sound like another "hardcore"/screamo band to me. I love metal and progressive too. I just cant get into a band with silly vocals. BTW isnt TOOL considered a Progressive Metal band? They dont seem to sound anything alike.

  • @SlyAras Never heard of TOOL... and no offense, but it seems like you have pretty crappy taste in metal xD

  • @LavenousKirby Tool...they were banned from iTunes...and they won some Grammys...y'know, NOT mainstream metalcore.

  • @LavenousKirby ... How have you NEVER heard of TOOL O_o No offence but have you been living under a rock? xD And I find it hard to see how you could judge my tastes in metal based off the fact that I dont like one band... Trust me I know metal and lots of it.

  • @SlyAras No offense, but HOW can you discuss metal on a video of big band swing music? Lol.

  • @RedSandStudios Did you read the other comments? It just happened to come up, and for that matter, isnt swing rooted in jazz? Metal also takes many of its influences from jazz. But more so why must you question my reasoning as to why I struck up a conversation? On a side note, I totally unnderstand what your saying, it is a little odd.

  • @SlyAras Good point. I didn't read the other comments, but it's fine that you struck up a conversation. I just thought it seemed a bit out of place ;)

  • @SlyAras only Tool's listen to TOOL

  • @Eierweier I'm 14 an modern music can go to hell. Classic Rock an music like this is what i like.

  • You its very sad to say but if fallout 3 was'nt invented almost nobody would have listened to this but over 100,000 people did thank you fallout team.

  • @ryancicocki No joke. I don't know if there's a Video Game Industry award for "Best Music in a Video Game" like there is for movies and TV, but whoever picked the FO3 soundtrack and thought up the idea of the radio stations so totally deserves that shit. hahaha

  • it was when scott tried selling him a grenade

  • lol i just heard this song on pawn stars
