I liked it when I was like...10 yrs old but now I perceive this TV series as a military propaganda... "It's says "join the Navy, join the Army, join the Air Force"... :/
@mcphisto85 who wouldn't if you can get such tech like an exo suit that can transport you literally almost anywhere and have weapons beam down from a satellite? Of course many people killed having tested several prototypes and not everyone's body can take the toll of the tech on them.
90's were the golden period of cartoons Mhe Mask Centurions Swat Kats Wally Gator Thundercats The Jetsons Yogi Bear Top Cat Quick Draw McGraw Tom & Jerry Scooby Doo Wacky Races Jabberjaw Josie and the Pussycats Thundar the Barbarian Johnny Bravo Dexter's Lab Alvin & the Chipmunks Captain Planet Secret Squirrel Dynomutt and the Blue Falcon Hong Kong Phooey Two Stupid Dogs Gumby Magilla Gorilla Birdman The Snorks Silverhawks Underdog and many more the greatest cartoons ever made
This show was on way before Cartoon network got a hold of it ...it was on when I was kid (1987) and I have to admit our cartoons were much better then...I feel bad for kids today with the crap that they peddle to them...They have very few good cartoons
@contra628 fucking eh man, I want to get a hold of ALL of the shows I used to watch so that my kids can watch them, instead of the crap they will be subjected to.
@contra628 I like the old cartoons for what they were, but I've gotta disagree on the with you on today's cartoons - or at least ones from the last 10 years. TMNT, Avatar, most of the different Batman cartoons. I'm, er, old enough to know better ;) yet I still love to watch these. And none the aforementioned 'toons make you sit through a moral lecture at the end!
@contra628 I was born in the 90s and I saw Centurions on cartoon network. It was freaking awesome. I watched several 80s cartoons and I kinda feel sorry for todays kids. I mean, back in the 80s n 90s, cartoons had a message and sense. Perhaps some day a website or tv channel will value our childhoods and bring back these works of art
Every Cartoon from the 80's needed an air guy named "Ace." Centurions had "Ace McCloud," MASK had "Ace" who drove "Slingshot" (Motorhome that opened up to reveal a small fighter jet) and G.I. Joe had Ace (Brad Armbruster IIRC) who was the lead pilot of the "Joe Team" (flew the "Skystriker"). Kinda funny if you ask me!
wow i haven't watched this cartoon since i was a child it brings back memories when the cartoons were actually great and full of action unlike the present..
OMG lol i remember when boomerang was good and showed shows like this from my childhood. I watched this show like clockwork but never remebered the name untill i actually saw the name and kne exactly wht it was if that makes sense lol.
Oh i forgot...Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and He-Man: Masters of the Universe are also on top, and ok....Inspector Gadget too LOLOL (the list is endless...depends on taste )
Centurions, Gi Joe, Thundercats, Knights of the Zodiac (Saint Seya) and Transformers are on Top of the best 80´s eighties cartoons ever ! Thumbs up on this one if U agree ;) (Good old dayssss)
@BFerreira82 You forgot M.A.S.K. (MASK computer, select the best MASK agents suited for this mission............. Selection Approved. Assemble Mobile Armoured Strike Kommand)
The action figures to these guys were immense! Huge things they were, I had them all but sadly my neighbour broke Jake Rockwell's leg off! I just pretended it was shot off on the battlefield!!
Wish this kind of armament was available in Halo (jet pack with shoulder mounted missile launchers, so your hands would be free to hold the Fuel Rod Cannon, LOL). Not to mention the weapon teleportation system for equpiping weapons anywhere. Man this show was ahead of its time, even Halo doesn't have that.
Governments with their high-tech armies and nuclear weapons? Fuck no, 3 assholes with random weapon will save the day! As a kid this was one of my favourite cartoons, but the idea is just silly. :D
@420dimebag Nahhh, you're just fitting the "martial artist part" into the picture. Tom Selleck would make a better choice because he essentially is an actor.

sounds like a action figure cartoon ripoff of Omac: One man army corps...and yes i watched this series when i was young..and yes it was totally awesome
@bradwhitcomb83 if u watch most of the episodes, max has absolutely nothing to do, or is pretty much un needed. for example if they need to get somewhere he would use the sewers ven though it is completely pointless
If you grew up in the 80's, you know how WACK cartoons & kids shows are today vs their 80's counterparts. Hell these kids today don't even have the luxury of getting up on saturday mornings, with a big bowl of cereal to watch cartoons anymore..SMH
truth be told i blame cable. saturdays used to be reserved for cartoons. you had to endure an entire week of crappy school and homework just to see these cartoons. nowadays cartoons are on 24/7. saturdays just aren't special anymore.

@RealFan357 Dude I went to my parents house and found old VHS tapes of Saturday morning cartoons I taped when I was a kid. Now on Saturday's I don't work, I pop a tape in and re-live those nostalgic feelings, commercials and everything.
They need a jetpack and a couple missles to be beamed down from space?!? lol, they should just keep that shit in a locker somewhere. Also if they can beam anywhere why don't they just beam to the bad guys hideout and kill him.
