Fabulous... by far the greatest live band of its generation and any band of the new era. Synchronised musical geniuses. No other live performances can match the magic and emotion of Simple Minds.
We were fortunate to attend the Wembley show and again in Edinburgh 2009. No other band connects with its audience and fans like Jim, Charlie and the boys. Long live in the memory.................
This band is capable of such excellent music with chiming guitars, synths, heavy dance drums and awesome basslines. I wish they would have steered clear of the pompous stadium stuff. The NGD songs were awesome but the more popular anthems were not quite at the same level.
Went to the Cardiff show last night (02/12/2008), these two songs along with Chelsea Girl for me were the highlights of a brilliant evening, thought Eddy Duffy kept to the Forbes sound, thanks for uploading
missed out on SECC Glasgow - even better got tickets for ABC in Glasgow on Sunday night - can't wait - bring back memories of seeing them for the first time in (Tiffanys) when I was 18 - check out the videos on Monday - it will be out of this world - nobody can beat Simple Minds home audience for atmosphere.
