I've read her excerable little book as part of a media study course on the subject of self help books, and all she does is re hash and plagerise all the similar books that have gone before.
Well I expect that some social misfits may find her dubious advice helpful - but i would think that the vast majority of people's eyes would glaze over with the sheer boredom and predictablity of it all.

What you focus on is what you will bring to you. To me, that is just something that makes perfect sense. Applying it is difficult but once you do, it will change your life.
Just to clear things up.. negative experiences dont really have a negative affect in your future. My GF cheated on me.. and it affected me in a negative way for a month.. but if you are strong person you will actually USE that NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE to give you enough energy to succeed in life. I was in love and did nothing in life.. now I am currently running my 2nd business and living happy as ever. Always positive and I attract more people than ever. DONT LET NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES PUT YOU DOWN..
she didnt say that 'negative experiences 'do' affect your future, she said they can affect them in a negative way, and in all honesty, almost every experience you have, will, even in the smallest way, affect your future.
This Break up of yours, Did affect you future, you learned from the 'negative' and it gave you energy to succeed in life. I would say that experience, that may have seemed negative to you at the time, made a huge impact on your future and on your present. You just testified.
