  • @nzeehinhd. The little water that makes it to the jet doesn't do anything it's to cool the exhaust

  • you should start the engine then hose. its not good for the jet.

  • 1 person cant afford to do this to his ski

  • Very cool, are you on greenhulk?

  • Cool video, the exhaust sounds awesome! Thumbs up.

    Thanks for uploading.

  • If the tough guy wants to do it his way let him

  • does the exhaust sound ever get old? i have a kawasaki stx 12f. im all for loud exhaust.. (truck has a cutout and raptor 700 has hmf) but i want to know if it get old hearing 6,000 rpms when your cruising for long periods of time? bad ass seadoo btw!

  • is this with a shorty-waterbox?

  • holy friggin shit thats awesome!!!!!!

  • hey mate how are you. i bought a rxpx last summer and now about to do my mods. seadoo themselves are saying not to worry about an exhaust. what you think consdering you have one. is it purely for noise and how tuff does it sound on water thanks

  • turbo?!

  • come on guys ur supposed to start the engine Then start the hose....then turn off the hose Then turn off the engine and that is the proper way to flush a ski

  • the newer seadoos dont use water for engine cooling, its just cooling the exhaust, so no need to worry

  • it fills up the water box then to the engine. Trust me i had to do 2 oil changes because of letting the water run for a few seconds.

  • @ultramaxracing05....so what do they use for cooling? certainly not air and I doubt they have radiators so the only other option is water induction.

  • @pouncey007 they have the closed cooling system, they exchange the heat into the water through the rideplate, when you flush it only the exhaust and intercooler gets flushed not the engine, Only the intercooler and exhaust use lake water,

  • Who the hell cares if the water runs for 3 seconds...its not going to harm anything, I think I know better not to let the water too long because it will fill up the water box and into the motor. I have had seadoo's a long enough time to know better but everyone thinks they are the expert.

  • Hey rxpxturbo , you're wrong, what do you think the exhaust is connected to? Try starting your jet ski then turn it off and let the water run through it for about 30 seconds and water will be running through your engine and it will sit in your pistons and your head, then come back after a day and try to start your jet ski, IT WONT START, then you have to take out the plugs and crank all the water out, then change the oil. all in all its a lot of trouble and money.

  • dont worry...i ran it after i turned off the water to get the extra water out of the exhaust. Yes it is custom

  • Gday mate. Im looking at buying a new ski. How would you rate the RXP-X ?? Is it the shit hey?

Have you had any problems with it?

Im glad to see someone is still making a two seater. Those big 3 seaters look too big to jump around in the surf!

  • Hey RXPXTURBO... yeah, they are closed-cooled. But guess what, genius? Dr Steve is right. The exhaust isn't, and guess where the water goes when the engine isn't running? Having said that, I definitely like the setup. I've got an '08 X... is that a kit, or custom?

  • Hey buddy, nice setup. But, coming from a jetski mechanic...Always, always, always turn the water on after you have started the engine and turn the water off before you shut the engine down.

  • all seadoos have water going through the water box and out through the exhaust. This water doesnt go through the engine...the coolant does and its cooled through the ride plate.

  • Comment removed

  • Nice that sounds sweet...I hope to sell my Ultra 250 this coming spring and get me a RXP-X ...also you should ALWAYS start the engine B4 you turn the garden hose on

  • thats sik dude but does it loose power with the dual exhaust? Nice one

  • it does not effect the power at all...its a solid 80 plus boat.

  • Nice work

  • sick
