As for the Christian morality angle-try reading what Jesus actually SAID. Believe what you wish-you will anyway, but do not force it on others. Persuade them if you can, especially by the example of your life. Bible says do justly, love mercy, walk humbly-love one another...not free markets, competition, and every man for himself. It is disgusting to twist Jesus to fit a political/economic model.

@theroadupward Well he didn't give us free will so that we could be controlled by a tyrannic oligarchy so he fits a republic perfectly, because a republic is essentially a form of anarchy in which the people get together and promise to each other that they will help protect each other's freedom and safety.

This makes sense IF you fail to question the premise and definitions offered, which I do. But even if you do accept them as given, what we have in America is an oligarchy of big business, a shadow government, unelected and unaccoutable-immune to the laws of the Republic, accumulating vast amounts of money with which they maintain power, no matter who is in office. What can be done about this hidden oligarchy? Set them FREE? Fatal flaw.

The lack of actually explaining how religion begets morality begets our Republic, also fails to explain how our republic was corrupted over 100 years ago while America was still considered a moral and christian nation. Explain how I am Atheist yet still behave morally. Furthermore, do not let the rest of the documentary propaganda detract from the simplistic yet artful explanation of the destruction of the Republic, part 2 and 3.

I want to thank you for posting this. If more people only understood that history repeats itself the better off this country would be. The Obama Admin is taking us down the road towards a dictatorship. Those who choose not to believe this are drinking the Kool-Aid or they are flatout ignorant. That is America today in a nutshell.
