It is politically divided, it's just that it's not represented by your system due to the mechanics of your elections, which differ from mature European (and Israeli) democracies.
For instance we have openly anti-Israeli and communist parties in the Parliament and the party with the -most- votes is just 4 years old, and it's not even the ruling party, with barely 24% of the seats.
Btw, the fact that your leader is openly religious (something that would never fly here) doesn't add much either.
