  • Did anyone else notice that bit between 0:00 to 9:27?

  • did anyone notice at 7:37 the guy shooting the Tommy gun there was no sound for it?

  • 4:31 Aw FUCK! That's a wicked fucking effect.

  • SIEG HEIL HITLER RULES MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW

  • SHERMAN!!!fawkyeah!!!!...They attack in hore so they fawk up the Tiger!!!!

  • Horrible that it came to this kind of thing.

  • @ASaxonAtHeart yea but that's what happens when there's jews around :\

  • 6:03

I used to be a soldier

but then I took a bullet in the knee.

  • Ou the Americans could have been lucky that there arent`t Tigers only Oo. I saw several comparison documentaries Sherman vs. Tiger .... the outcome was very bad :(

  • tank shemar es hero

  • War is legalized murder is a means of publicly

  • @kazuya45123 yea...cuz of the jews :\

  • too bad these dopes were fighting for the jews...dum bitchs

  • @HaroldsCatsRevenge Would you rather they fought for the communists and faschists?

    Dumb nazi apologist.

  • @WolfhoundMercenary NAZIS RULE

  • @HaroldsCatsRevenge Uh, no doubt about that ;)

  • Is it not me...or have i seen this scene at the start and end of Brothers In Arms: Road to Hill 30?

  • my great grandad was romanian and he fought for the germans unwillingly :(

  • hate this place also in game brother in arms road to hill 30 it was hard like a hel to defend this and of course is not easy being a defender and attacker both side getting struggle and total loss this battle was most horror hill battle ever

  • The Sturmgeschutz IV was a much better tank than the Sherman. Is there a Jagdpanther in there too? In reality German armor would crush American armor in a one-to-one fight. In this scene the Sherman tanks would need to flank the german tanks to even have a chance at knocking them out. Hollywood!

  • @trippletear do you not see the german tank showing it side easy target yes german tanks were better but sherman tanks crews learn this and knew how to flank them.

  • @Love24Pink I am not convinced by the film. The tanks are real, but the situation looks implausible. Also, running across an open field toward a German tank would be suicidal. The Germans had more than enough infantry support to prevent two Americans from knocking out a Sturmgeschutz. It just looks wrong to me. The most realistic war films are Saving Private Ryan.and Enemy at the Gates. Both are very sad. Hope all is well Mr. Love24Pink. wtf!?

  • @trippletear If you knew anything about warfare it's don't judge a situation or scenario by the details if you weren't actually there to see it. Band of Brothers is the most realistic WW2 film ever put on the market. It has over a dozen eye witness testimony and the study of Steven E Ambrose to back it.

  • @CoBros To me it just does not LOOK real. If I am a German infantry man, I can easily shoot the two guys with the bazooka. They are completely exposed. But the tanks are completely real, and this gives the film an advantage over Saving Private Ryan where they used a fake Tiger tank. I read Ambrose and I believe him. I just imagine it differently.

  • @trippletear don't forget there was still a whole line shoting at the of guys shooting at the germans

  • @trippletear Actually if you watch the Making Of video,at least one of those vehicles is a visually modified T-34. As for the fake Tiger, there weren't that many to begin with, the rare ones you find today are in museums.

  • @trippletear I totally agree with the logic in that but you also have to consider that there were a line of soldiers behind them when they went for the tank giving covering fire. Also if you watch closely you see that there are no soldiers surrounding the tank, which isn't realistic because the Germans would be covering the tank with infantry.

  • @BCLegoMaster I agree. The un-supported German tank is not a realistic tactic of armored warfare. The Germans were better organized than that. The guy in the foxhole, screaming his brains out, also bothers me. I am sure there were many terrified American soldiers, but the lieutenant stands over him and talks to him like a football coach. The lieutanant exposed himself to heavy enemy fire. I think he would be shot in a moment. In this film, distance also seems to be distorted.

  • @trippletear

Well, I don't know what to tell you- during this battle Lt. Welsh and Pvt. McGrath ran into the open field and took out a Nazi armoured vehicle with a bazooka. Winters, Compton, Webster, Malarkey, Guarnere and Heffron all wrote books about their experiences in E-company, and I believe you can also find an account from the Nazi perspective in 'The Lions of Carentan'. I think you'll find this is pretty accurate, hard to find a tv show that is more accurate for sure.

  • @trippletear You need to read Stephen Ambrose's book. This was a very accurate portrayal of what happened in that battle. Dick Winters was one of those exceptional leaders that possessed an incredible amount of luck. Like Custer in the Civil War.

  • @BCLegoMaster

Then how do you think it really happened? Share your theory.

I assume you've read all the relevant material on this particular fight?

  • @Love24Pink Are you a student of WW2? I like the history and the tactics, but I am always struck by the tragedy of war. In the end that is what I discover. I am also amazed by the self sacrifice of great men. That is the real tragedy.

  • You know, at 8:22 because that was a German tank crushing a German soldier, people say 'Well, accidents happen.' But if that was an AMERICAN tank crushing an AMERICAN soldier, people would say, 'Stupid Americans and their stupid tanks and their stupid soldiers and their stupid equipment and their stupid this and their stupid that and their stupid blah blah blah' I have yet to see one video that isn't like this.

  • Lt. Winters is AWESOME

  • im so glad my grandpa survived this hell. god bless all the soldiers from both sides.

  • Team kill. -50

  • 8.22 The only good german is a crushed german LOL

  • 8:13

    Sanitate!!!!

    meens medic

  • Anybody else notice the german get crunched by his own tank at 8:23?

  • @Mills117 yes

  • @Mills117 That stuff happened all the time, Its hard to look behind a tank when you are in it and everyone is running/retreating, everyone is in panic when hell breaks lose.

So that is a common thing that happened. Not the very best feeling for him as it starts from the legs to his head

  • @Mills117 pretty hard not to miss...

  • @jack1hoffman ya true lol

  • @Mills117 what do you call the kraut? schnitzel.

  • @Mills117 Shit like this happens on all sides. A tankdriver cant have his eyeballs everywhere. Not very cool, but thats war. Not that romantic, i know.

  • @Mills117 that's a horrible way to go

  • @Mills117 because he got shot..try to watch the scene b4 that.

  • @Rainasainzmann I know but im sure he still felt every bit of it

  • @Mills117 hahaha! absolutely..

  • how the hell do 2 shermans take out 2 german tank destroyers?

  • @chubbystickgrenade35 That's what i'm wondering right now, why whould they bring shermans in a tank battle anyway ? lol

  • @chubbystickgrenade35 American movies? I dont think what we see is 100% true what happened, 2 shermans especially the sherman 75 mm has a hard time destroying them but 1 of those tanks was a stug and the front of the stug is weaker

  • 9:09... BLANK ALERT

  • awwwwwww roadkill nastiness mannnnnn feel bad for that nazi....:P 8:19-8:26

  • 8:19 - 8:26 ;_;

  • Japanese were as evil as Nazis.

They abducted 200,000 Asians (& Caucasians), raped them up to 50 times a day & then buried them alive to save bullets when they became sick.

*Japanese govt refruses to apologize to any of surviving sex slaves.

*It STILL sugercoats this by outrageously lying that the victims were whores who volunteered to services Japanese & received great treatment & even bigger salary than Japanese army generals.

GOOGLE: Jan Ruff O'Herne - Japanese military sex slave

  • @KimInLosAngeles but still I personally think the Nazis were horrible 7 million jews murdered. Cause a war and 70 million people died in WW2

  • Japanese were responsible for tens of millions of deaths in Asia.

They destroyed the infrastructures of the nations they invaded, so people died of diseases which could have prevented if they had an access to clean water.

They regularily searched hospitals, farms, & even the homes of average folks to loot medicine & grain & then shipped them to Japan, so millions died of famine & famine-related diseases.

Even metals like door knobs & utencils were melted down & then shipped to Japan.

  • @KimInLosAngeles they were dirty and ruthless, worse than the nazis in my opinion

  • @Mills117

    In many cases, they were.

    Have a nice day!

  • @KimInLosAngeles a case in point is if you watch flags of our fathers

  • One of best fight scenes in BOB. Yes?

  • The paratroopers were better trained than you think. They were better trained than an average German soldeir, not as good as the SS, but as your run of the mill German soldier. The Germans had to have a flaw everyone is over looking or they'd have won every battle and the war.

  • @SuperClintEastwood Their flaw was over-confident...they never imagined they would be over-ran buy the so called "American Dogs"...lol.

  • @MrHemiGod

This is pretty much why US troops were succesfull against Germans in 1944. Rommel beat US troops in Africa at 1943 so badly that German OKW counted US troops as second line troops until the loss of France.

  • father in law was a battle of bulge relief squadron, because i was viet nam, he and i would talk, my wife who has 8 brothers and sisters, said, "we never knew!, Dad never talked until he talked to you" ,, Friggin guy was a national war hero, never said anything to his wife or kids, had two bronze stars for valor, and actually hooked up with the russians when the lol was taking berchtesgarden. always felt he lived two lives. his rebirth was swimming in Austria.

  • Anybody else actually feel genuinly excited as the shermans came? Thats how much I got into this

  • nice . thats all i'm gona say.

  • @wolfrages Everything you said is true and don't get me wrong, but it's a movie anything can happen in a movie.

  • The guy st 5:33 is all like iam I still alive.

  • Yes, the germans had better tanks. But the Americans had more.

  • 07:05 like a BAUS

  • People (mostly jealous anti-Americans) shut up about how bad Shermans were. Quit with the junk and trash talk about "facts" showing that it took 4 or 6 or 8 Shermans to take out a Tiger or any German tank. German tanks were good but a broadside shot like the tanks in this video take would, in fact, wreck it. And there are NO documented instances of it taking 6 Shermans to kill any German tank. Prove me wrong and give me a cited source. Its all idiot propaganda for haters

  • @LTank32

actually it took around 3-4 shermans to kill a tiger. your just defensive of shermans cos their american. read the book D-Day. its got all the true facts.

  • @LTank32 Not propoganda. Simple physics. Im American and I can say that the Shermans were crap 1 on 1 compared to a Panther or tiger. The 75 just couldnt pierce it head on and had trouble on the side too. Once tehy upgunned to the 76 it was much different, still difficult from the front but easier on teh sides. Like the British Firefly.

  • @Wildcat425B No actually I'm defensive of them because they were American, they were much better tanks than they get credit for, and they were far superior to Tigers and other German tanks in many ways. There is not a single historical source saying anything like "I was a soldier in ww2, saw three Shermans retreat and call for at least one more because they needed four to face a tiger" that's junk, each battle was different depending on the battlefield, placings of tanks, and tank crews.

  • @LTank32 Well, go check for Ernst Barkman then, he had a lot of fun in Normandy and Ardennes with his single Panther, against Sherman columns...

On a general note, this story of "4 Sherman vs 1 Tiger" is more about statistics than pur battlefields tactics. Go check the K/D ratio of Germans Schwere Panzer Abteilung, you would be maybe surprise.

And btw, the Sherman tank was a good one, not because of its armor and gun, but because it was cheap and "logistic friendly", it's about strategy

  • @enMakarth Yeah, no one has actually ever found proof that Barkman Corner ever happened. Indeed what has been found indicated he ambushed a flank unit and KOed 2 M5 stuarts, 2 armoured cars and 6 trucks. No air support was called in the area so his accounts of being straffed by figher bombers are suspect as well. And the claim he turned back a major advance is questionable because the towns behind him fell by nights end. Even the unit he ambushed continued on and reach its objectives.

  • @Wildcat425B A Sherman could pierce most German tank's armor in just about any spot with the exception of about 10-15% of the armor which was located in the front of the hull. Panthers were VERY vulnerable to Shermans, and you show your foolishness by saying a 76mm was even close to the 17lb (90mm) FireFly gun. Also, learn some basic grammar before trying to sound like you know your stuff.

  • @LTank32 Alright Mr. Armchair general, first of all your wrong. The OQF 17 pound gun of the Sherman Firefly was a 76.2mm cannon. A lot less than the 90mm you seem to believe that it is. And second of all, get off your high horse. Its the internet so be glad you can understand what I say, unlike 2/3 of the comments on Youtube. For such a grammar Nazi I'm surprised you have such a hard on for the Shermans.

  • @Wildcat425B You know, something interesting I've noticed... When ppl lose arguments, they begin with personal attacks and name calling, as you have. You are wrong about the 17 Lb'er, theres just no way about it. You sound like a foolish Tiger Tank Fan Boy.

One last interesting fact for you to fail to answer, the greatest tank ace in ww2 (Creighton Abrams) with over 50 vehicle kills and I believe well over 30 tank kills, used a Sherman. He was never defeated, unlike the German "aces".

  • @LTank32 *slow clap* Nicely done on pointing out you fired the first insults my friend.

As compared to the best tank ace of the war who had 168 confirmed tank kills, and possibly as many as 195, Kurt Knispel whose tank took 24 hits in one engagement and kept fighting, what a Sherman couldnt. He may have died 10 days before the war ended but he certainly tops Mr. Abrams.

As for the 17 pounder, I know it wasn't a 90mm. They had a enough trouble fitting it in the Sherman turret, let alone a 90mm.

  • @Wildcat425B Actually you are the one who is name calling and personally insulting "Armchair Genereal" and I "have a hard on for Shermans".

Let me ask you something, when two boxers fight and one is destroying the other and racking up the points, but just before the bell the one getting crushed knocks out the formerly winning boxer, who won? The one who knocked his opponent out or the one with more points? In the same way, Abrams wins.

  • @Wildcat425B No to mention, Abrams was involved in the war for a MUCH shorter time than Knispel. Knispel was killed by a Canadian Sherman lol. I let you get me off on a rabbit trail here - arguing with an uneducated guy who can hardly type about gun sizes and tank aces. My original comment was that the Sherman(A3's, Jumbos, Fireflys etc) were great. All sub-models included. You assumbed I was speaking of only 75mm models. Read some history, tank specs, and go back to school. I'm done.

  • @LTank32 Knipseil, killed by Canadians, in Vienna, where Soviets were operating, yes, that makes totaly sense to me!

Or you're misstaking him with Wittmann maybe?

You know, there is nothing wrong to say Sherman were not the best tanks in ww2 in pur combat speaking, a war is not win only on the tactical level, but at strategical level as well. And you know what? Sherman were realy designed to feat that last point, and they did it perfectly

  • @LTank32 It was Wittmann who was killed by a Canadian Sherman Firefly, not Knispel, who died fighting in Czechoslovakia almost a year after Wittmann's death. How he died, I don't know but damn, Knispel almost lived to see the end of the war.

  • well think about it. no armor is perfect. better aim beats good armor every time.

  • @nerf43 Also, the Stug IV's armor was relatively light. Contrary to popular opinion, not every German tank was a Tiger. And the MAJORITY of Tigers saw action in the EASTERN FRONT. The most commonly used German tank in the Western Front, and the most commonly used German tank of the war was the Mark IV.

  • is there any battle where the germans win ?

  • @TheSituation59 The battle for Arnhem bridge and the subsequent Oosterbeek perimeter during operation Market Garden ('a bridge too far') could be considered a temporary German win, but that was only because there were 2 SS panzer divisions against lightly armed paratroopers whos resupply kept dropping into the supply zones that the Germans occupied.

  • @TheSituation59 Yep, in the Episode Replacements, Its during Op. Market Garden

  • :O i ddnt know THIS was bloody gulch!

  • Oh,americans are still suckers...Band Of Brothers is the worst film ever

As russian i reccomend you to watch "Platoon" or "Saving private Ryan" but not this shit

  • @SovietArmyInAfghan its a miniseries... and it was made by the same ppl who made saving private ryan

  • @SovietArmyInAfghan What do you recommend from the Russian standpoint of WW2 movies? There is only a small taste of "The Battle of Lenningrad" on Youtube. Is their anything about the female snipers? We need a Russian voice in movies about WW2 because it was the worst in the ETO.

  • @600joe Have you seen the movie brest fortress ? the whole thing is on youtube, it takes place during the invasion of Russia, it was fantastic and i would recomend it !

  • @reuvbre The Brest Fortress is one of the greatest WW2 movies every made. Thanks for the suggestion. AMAZING sets, wardrobe, acting supreme. I bought it after watching some on Youtube. I also bought Come and See too, waiting for that.

  • Of corse the Germans had the best Guns/Tanks/Armour - they planned that shit years in advance whilst we, (in Europe especially) , thought that they wanted peace. The Great War - WW1, took a lot of effort from Britain - we did not want WW2 but Hitler had other ideas. America joined the party late, we have Russia to thank for the utter defeat of Germany. Nazi forces at Normandy were but a joke compared to Nazi Waffen SS whom lost the fight in the East...Thankfully. Britain stood alone also 39-42.

  • 8:19 what a way to go

  • Germans had some great tanks, but we had more. We won. Who had the better strategy?

  • @stugmann91 You seriously think an M1 Abrmas couldn't disable a German tank from 70 years ago?

  • Comment removed

  • it took an average of 6 tanks to nock out a tiger, the germans were everything but stupid and retarded, id like to see other countrys take over the world 3 tims, love to see other countrys take down two of the worlds greatest empires, id love to see other country last 7 years with 40 nations up against them......

  • @stugmann91 France, 'nuff said!

As for tank quality, germans one were indeed better at the middle of the war, at the same time they started to loose.

Germany took over France and half of USSR with shity tanks for armor and armor piercing abilities.

In Normandy, better frontal armor and long distance engagement abilities weren't that usefull, but big size tanks were REALY an issue, in the small streets of the villages there, and in the bocage.

Not to mention Sherman were so cheap to produce.

  • the americans feared the jadgpanzer the most out of most german tanks even next to the tiger, the hetzers and jadgpanzers were tank distoryers, both can nock out a american tank from over 2 miles away, the sherman couldnt even nock out a tank wothin 100 yards

  • @icyscythe its fucken hollywood of course they are going to make the whole american shit trust me in the true events and real ww2 the shermans were called tommy cookers, when a round pierced the sherman it blew into flames instancly killing everyone inside it...even the tank crews hated itand the shermans were right in the line of fire of the german tanks, in ww2 on the russian fron the jadgpanzer and hetzers were off the charts when it came to fear factor, even on the westernfront too

  • 8:19 same guy that got killed in saving private ryan that killed the medic -.-

  • im proud of blithe for getting the courage to fight back

  • @wolfrages in the military yet can't spell sergeant right....

  • I cried when i watched the ending of Band of Brothers, when Major Dick Winters said “ I stayed around Hershey Pennsylvania, finally finding a little farm, a peaceful corner of the world, where i live today, there is not a day that goes by, where there were men i served with who never got to experience the world without war” RIP Major Dick Winters, and RIP to all who died. We are beyond thankful for your brave actions and risking your life for our peace. You are all truly heroes. Restinpeace <3

  • @wolfrages In reality, they fired the bazooka at the Stugs unarmored belly (read in the book)

  • hey jagdpanther at 2.46. apparently built on a t54. I'd have liked to have used a captured on on there asses

  • @26wordy you'd like to do what?

  • 8:22 ROFLPWNED

  • 8:20 - 8:25 mmmmmmm crunchy

  • i feel sorry for the german who got squished =(

  • Let's not forget that 80% of the german army was focus on the Russian front

  • "Well hello second armored" hahaha

  • climactic not climatic.

  • die fuckin german assholes

  • @NenenIsPwo What an ignorant fuckhead you are...

  • @abdg32esd23 The Allies carried out the largest naval invasion in history on D-Day, and they won. :P

  • @KimInLosAngeles ...ok what this had to do with the video I don't know but you know good to know I guess

  • Kill those disgusting Nazis!

  • 8:26 funny as shit.

  • You do all know that those 5 shermans were the first of 60 of them those litlle germans had NO chanche of winning especcialy that they had all flanks and could hit their side armor

  • This is wat morale is. when the german gets tank in their ranks to blow the enemy up. morale goes down for the Americans. when a bunch of tanks on your side supriseing the enemy and fucking their day up. big morale boost.

  • Japanese were as evil as Nazis.

  • @KimInLosAngeles

*cough* allies killing more than 3 million german civilians through air raides *cough*

all the governments were evil, also the american one.

  • @KimInLosAngeles i saw you on almost every Band of Brothers vid and the Pacific

  • yes lets make a movie that isnt 98% correct and make the germnas look like shit....and i love how the german anti-tanks retreat when they were getting shot at by the crappy american tank....the jagdpanzer could turn a american tank into a piece of metal within that range....and the sherman tank wernt even in offective range to do any damnage to the german tanks...plus i also love how the american tank gunners were all high and mighty outside the tank shooting

  • @stugmann91 You like comment on every single Band of Brothers video. Srs shut the holy fuck up. If you don't like it don't watch it you retard. Is that so hard to grasp in your tiny failure of a brain?

  • @darknessforever75 i didn't read all his posts, but, well, he's right. Sherman were totally outclassed by even the worst German tanks. Only the British Firefly variant had any chance against a Jadgpanzer. Can't a guy even question the accuracy of a depicted scene without getting a faceful of expletives from you? Shameful really, if you stop to think about it.

  • @blueray1969 That's the thing. The show is centered around the story of the soldiers not accuracies in the war or how said tank could go against said tank, hence the name "band of brothers." It's hollywood and if people are just now aware to the fact hollywood gets 80% of their shit wrong then they need to wake up. I am sure a lot of people can cleary see the germans were wrongfully depicted as blundering iodits in most of this series...

  • @blueray1969 ...but that doesn't mean this dude needs to go around onto every video and rage and rant. Like really, no one cares. People didn't watch band of brothers so they could get an accurate depiction of WWII (or any WWII movie for that matter) They watched it for the entertainment. Is that SO hard to grasp?

  • @darknessforever75 I agree with you, partially. But BofB was depicted as true to life. if anything it undermines the sacrifice of all allied troops, if it suggests the Germans were all blundering fools. They weren't, which shows just how effective allied armies were in defeating them. Scenes like this suggest the allies could do nothing BUT success. But I guess if that's what Hollywood thinks teh US audience wants, that's all that matters.

  • @blueray1969 i didn't get the impression that BoB undermines the sacrifice of allied troops like you said but I guess that's just your opinion.

  • @blueray1969 It is shameful. Sherman had stabilized gun and coax, so it routinely was able to get the first shot off if both were moving. If US defended (rare) Germans got waxed. If Germans defended with their few tanks, US would take losses, and eventually US bypassed, and then shot the Panthers up as the Germans withdrew.

  • @blueray1969 the tanks in this scene were the first of a whole horde, 60 in all at least.

Jadgpanzer can't do much at such short range where it easily outflanked by the much more maneuverable sherman.

  • @stugmann91 those were the first tanks of a whole bunch of shermans (60!). Jadgpanzer can't do jack when it's flanked.

  • Comment removed

  • The Japanese government however has LIED continuously surrounding these events. They won't take full responsibility for the crimes of their ancestors. Shiro Ishii, one of the most evil men in history, completely got away with his crimes that he committed at his 731 slaughterhouse. The Japanese should be put on notice and demands should be made, that they admit to the crimes and apologize for them.

However they let their pride get in the way and just continue to lie.

  • at 2:30 was that guy trying to snap his own neck!

  • Ditto to what KiminLosAngeles said.. The Japanese killed thousands in Nanking alone. They would have killed all of us if they could.

  • Japanese were as evil as Nazis.

They abducted 200,000 Asians (also Caucasians), raped them up to 50 times a day & buried them alive to save bullets.

  • @KimInLosAngeles No doubt. Like Schindler's List, they should make a film that shows the barbaric crimes of the Japanese. Not just Nanking, but unit 731, and other major Chinese cities that were subjected to genocide. Not just that but some Chinese women were only kept alive for the purpose of being raped.

Some Chinese women were strapped into chairs spread eagle, and were raped hundreds of times a day. Some were raped to death.

  • note to all: don't feed the trolls!

  • @KimInLosAngeles Stalin was even worser, he killed about 20M ppl until 1945, everybody who was againsf him got killed or prisoned in the Gulags where they died 99%

  • guy at 7:05 being a straight up boss on that .50

  • @controlusplease1 your a fucking idiot

  • @dayvidob & youre a pussy.

anyone who can remain that unimpressed by firing a .50 while a battle is going on around him is deserving of awe.

  • @controlusplease1 Not really, would (IMO) be more badass doing that with an MG42, or even standing with an MG42 firing from assault position

  • @controlusplease1 no i'm impressed by the 50 i just think your a stupid cunt for saying 'boss' -_-

  • @dayvidob yeah, well this " stupid cunt" earned the fucking right to say whatever he wants about .50 BMG's and their operators since i stood behind one for 2 years doing convoy security in iraq with the SeaBees

    NCMB-15.

  • @controlusplease1 what am i supposed to be impressed that you stood a shooting a gun in iraq for the last two years? well i'm not so shut the fuck up bitch

  • @controlusplease1 you do know that in world war two the browning's where only 30. cals right? the only 50. was the boys anti tank rifle made by the British.

  • @mokeynam50 no, thats a .50 cal, i stood behind one for 2 years, i would know.

the .50 cal was designed during and after world war 1, hence its designation M1919. the .30 cal version was an infantry support weapon carried around by a team of 2 or 3. the .50 cal version was mounted on tanks and other vehicles since it was too heavy to be carried by a fireteam (they weigh 83 pounds, without a tripod or ammo). the .30 cal is just a smaller version of the M1919 .50 cal

  • @controlusplease1 oh well then thanks for the info. :) (also thanks for not getting all mad
