i think the product is cool.. good idea.. but it isn't light by all means.. 11 oz?? like seriously?.. my heaviest backpacking stove is 4 oz.. my sleeping bag is 16 oz.. 11 oz for a camera carrier is too much. maybe if you made a couple of changes , this baby could go all the way down to 5 oz or so
Just bought one. Can't wait to get it. Worried a bit it won't fit with the battery extender but it's not like I absolutely need that. Who needs the extra bulk while in the bush?
Watching the other vids from HoldSLR (with the jumping)I am extremely confident there is no better product on the market for a hiker.
I found you by Googling "hiking camera carriers" and you popped up. Can't wait to try it as i hike about 10miles/wk and hate my camera bobbing on my neck when i need my hands!

this is good thing but to pay $75 for it is crazy! would give $20 not more!

Cool idea! One question? Why use a flimsy tripod on a decent camera???

The point is vibration and bumps that damages the camera. otherwise "camera neck strap" which comes with every slr essentially does the same.
