Great video man. You showed the steps very nicely. I have a question though. I have a GS500F and the last owner put a Hindle exhaust on it which I think is not done quite right. The angle is too much outward. Now, how would I go about adjust the angle without making anything go wrong? Thanks
@kontaktseistrup to be honest, I have no idea-- but I always thought 'Sport Fairings' made sense. I think it's mostly just a manufacturer designation for the 'sport' version.
@allmiller4u oh yeah? i was thinking of getting the 350mm for my 09 sv650sf. Is it loud enough? They say it has a deep rumble. i hope that is true because i want an exhaust that sounds mean, but not sure which one to get.
@b1perry you don't have to. sometimes heating it actually weakens the metal. Plus it is very tight when you put it on.(with the addition of the belt-clamp)

What does the F stand for in SV650 SF

@deependstudios you're right. The S indicates it's the version with the tophalf. The F in addition indicates the full fairing on it :)

@kontaktseistrup
Actually, as you know, the SV650S has clip-ons and half-fairing, while the N got ordinary handlebars and no fairing.
So, as deependstudios said, those are manufactures designations, and so is the F.
As you might know, Suzuki has used the F for a lot of full-faired, non-sport models, such as the GSX600F.
So, the F is an addition to the SV650S name, where the F has a full fairing, instead of half-fairing.
Hope this helps!
Cheers from Sweden! :)

why bother sealing the pipe with rtv?
embalmed 1 year ago
@embalmed So you don't get an illegal exhaust leak.

@7StrangeFruits it's already leaking out of the large hole at the end of the pipe.

Shouldnt you heat up the end of the slip on that way it goes on easier and when it cools itll be tight? just wondering?
