The interior of this Typhoon Russian sub makes no sense at all. It doesn't look at all like a Russian sub. Even if the sub in the movie is supposed to be a new one, it's still a hollywood studio sub, not a real one. In the real ones there is not that much space. The control room is ridiculously big. Russian subs are painted white or yellow from the inside, and they don't look like space crafts.

@hypercarbon Well we just found out that a real Typhoon class submarine lauched an apparent test ICBM right here off the coast of California. The giant submarine than moved in closer to the California coastline and then vanished.

Yes! This is one hell of a good movie. Makes you proud of our Navy. Makes you respect that of the other side. I hated to see Vasily die. He could have been my brother or cousin.
