DeDeDe does not take that much skill. It takes about a couple hours of practice to get used to his moves. From there you just spam your grabs and keep using your back air to bump them off the stage. Anyone can do it. If you want to show off talent in this game get good with someone like marth, peach, or Ike

I entered three tournaments, got knocked out within the first round of all of them. Most of which i was crushed by more skilled players.

Its called a pivot grab, when your moving in one direction just press Grab + tap control stick in opposite direction at same time.
