  • Made me laugh...where do I get in sign up to marry you Hm? :)

  • I'm an aussie and you don't even sound like an aussie. You sound too posh to be an aussie, well a straight one at that. No offense.

  • Ok this was good but why have I now started to speak like an Australian and don't really know how to stop speaking like you because I forgot my Yorkshire accent. :/

  • I'm American and come on live on a rock in the desert? Wearing cowboy hats and what not? Eating that thing you ate in the video? All those stereotypes are ridiculous lol. I like to learn the facts about things before I stereotype them. Great video btw :) xoxo.

  • bad combo with mw3 watching this

  • mate you gotta tell em how the lads dress :D

  • WHY DONT YOU RIDE TO SCHOOL ON A KANGAROO!!!! NO NEED TO FILL UP THE TANK

  • Thee is no single Aussie accent. For example, Melbournians end to sound less rough and brash compared to those in Brisbane, Darwin and other Northern areas.

  • you twat

  • Ur kinda cute.......I just like guys with accents.

  • im an aussie and hae been living in Canada for 5 months and they have never herd of fari dinkham before , let alone jumper they have no idea what that is :L

  • Not many Australian's say "G'day" are you kiddin'? That's the tradesmen's way of speech!

  • I would like to live there!

  • Mate, you're ruining everything. We need to perpetuate these stereo types to make us more attractive to foreigners. We need to be able to hold our own against our main competitor for women.. the Irish. And if you don't say g'day I suggest you start, it's a genius word.

  • @Mrfitzgerald90 I can assure you that (most) Spanish girls will always prefer Aussies over Irish!

  • good....

  • Your accent isn't heaps Aussie cause it's too precise and also people a jumper is a sweater or jersey or a jacket. Btw I hate all the stereo types about us

  • fuckin faggotttttttt

  • I love Aussie accent. Aussie Aussie oy oy :)

  • @annszkhiemo im Australian and I didn't know we had an accent, it just sounds plain

  • You don't pronounce your Rs well thats just stolen off the scouse accent you cock

  • do you ride a kangaroo to school?

  • Lol I knew nobody said gday! And I'm American and I wish I had an accent. Well I am sure I do to you but i think our "accents" are lame:) lol ur funny I don't live on a big Rock and I don't ride a kagaroo to school

  • Is that shit like the aussie version of Marmite over here in the UK? .__.

  • Who ever pays out Aussies can get fuked . Just coose we speak differently to you doesn't make us weird , this guy speaks normal English , I would have to say everyone speaks differently and has a different accent in australia because it is a very multicultural country and not everyone it the same ... I'd no this because I'm Australian

  • G'day Mate!

  • Vegemite tastes god-aweful. never have I had such misfortune to taste something remotely disgusting.

and btw, man, almost everyone in qld uses "gday". its used a LOT.

    followed by "how ye gaoin?"

    lol.

    nice video otherwise.

  • @nafism6969 you suck! if you use the word gday it means you are a stupid idiot aussie bogan!

  • Does that mean you don't wrestle with crocodiles on a daily basis either? D:

  • by Australian of the most Australians you mean Mt Druitt? hahahahha

  • Um , there are Multiple Varieties of Every Dialect , dude ! Every Stereotype and Urban Legend has some basis in Fact , however loose !

  • very clever LOL

  • hopefully it was chocolate paste and not vegemite

  • this is no australian accent mate! cam'on!

  • Haha, you sound like the guy from BTN Daily.

  • ok?

  • You are so cute!

  • when i see things that feature australia, i prefer those that show the outback, where the kangaroos and crocodiles are all over the place. i like that image of australia. nevetheless i know that most australian humans don't live in those areas. i visited australia in the early 1980s, & i saw plenty of dead roos on the roads, but that was out in the countryside. the notion that the average australian sees roos every day would be like the notion that the average american sees deer every day.

  • Im sorry I eat a lot of vegitmite

  • God the way you speak drives me crazy. D: You pause alot when you talk.

  • Dude! I love you :)

  • you sound a little british there.....

  • You live on a giant rock. Stop lying to the public.

  • that kid is a fag

  • Im not laughing i think your voice is sexii

  • you sound like a very 'posh' talking aussie, like how someone from S.A would talk..

    most aussies talk more 'bogan'

  • Not even kidding, Vegemite is the worst thing i've ever had. the smell... the taste... EW.

and hahaha this made me laugh heaps.

  • You can't pronounce "Fair Dinkum" properly...

  • howzit hanging mate, just wantin' to know if your taking the piss with this video or your just some cityslicker that actually thinks that stuff that you dribbled? and soft about the vegimite mate lol, just like my bro, he can't stand the taste of it, try it with m&m's dipped it, that's a crazy taste

  • im english and love the australian accent and australia as a country lol would love to live there when im older! I get annoyed when people try to imitate the 'british' accent making us sound posh, really gets on my nerves lol

  • but us Aussies do say "mate" still!

  • Im Australian, and you put shame to our country... you have been raised by english parents mate.. you dont even have an aussie accent.

  • You look like Rory Mcilroy

  • I still use G'day a lot.. usually without the M8 at the end...yea I've never (only on that Paul Hogan ad) 'shimp on the barbie'... If someone ever says that trying to be Aussie... they need to be snapped out.

  • What the hell is a jumper?

  • @allywally425 A hood

  • Does this mean i'm one of the most Australian of Australians?

  • Lol at the american below who asked what cricket is!

  • @m211020 lol.. when Cricket is the mother of fuckin boring baseball

  • I'm from America and i think your accent ROCKS!

  • I didn't think ur accent was funny I thought it was cute

  • born and bred in the inner city of Sydney. I say g'day, bloke and fair dinkum a fair bit lol.

  • Im american and i didnt laugh at your accent i think its adorable! ;) Also whats cricket?? And im planning on going to Australia soon it looks beautiful im soo excited! :)

  • finally. a video that can show the Americans that we are not that different to them.

don't mean to be racist or anything but only the aboriginals live around that rock.

the aussie white man are just normal people. who go to work, come home to their misses or whatever and live life,

  • kawaii na.

  • @IndicRace , not all aussies have convict ancestors, my mum's family's German and English who came to Australia in the late 1800's and my dads Aboriginal

  • @leemen17 not with a british accent, but more british then the northern states rather then american. thats what i meant.

  • @leemen17 atleast my ancestors were not convicts like yours! and u can go chomp on some kangaroo poop!

  • what is a vegemite?...what does it taste?

  • u dont sound australian,, like AT ALL

  • Your beautiful-3 lhaha

  • You live in the city come out and spend a day in the country every one sez giday, fair dinkum, bloke

  • love australian accent! I've been living in Brisbane and it's true... haven't seen anyone riding kangaroo, kkkkkk... though it'd be pretty cool..vegemite is uhuuu... some people get used to it but... nah... not my case.

    The beaches are beautiful!

  • I love the aussie accent.. I've been living in Brisbane since this place is just great! Melbourne also is speechless.. HAVE A G'DAY MATE!

  • eww i cant believe you did that with vegemite, even a dare wouldn't make me do that :P haha

  • Your accent is really americanized, for an aussie

  • @ValleyOfChrome2112 His accent is 'americanized'? Most people from Brisbane, Queensland for that matter have this kind of accent. In no way does it sound 'Americanized'.

  • @AniisaCaali Well he talks like a bitch

  • @ValleyOfChrome2112 No, he doesn't sound like a female dog.

  • @AniisaCaali shut up slut

  • Most important qualifier to be an Aussie is that you need to have convict genes passed over generations by ur ancestors!

  • @IndicRace My ansestors were rich British people and rich German people. I am no convict

  • @diglztianad Good for you! But you are still an Aussie, bad for you.

  • @IndicRace i have read your amazingly racist anti-australian blog. its obvious to me that you know nothing about australian culture or the past of australia, including convicts (which are included in every one of your rediculous insults about our country) aboriginals and immigration.

  • The Australian accent is disappearing. In another couple decades it'll cease to exist altogether and Australians will simply speak with a standard American 'accent' with less of an accent than is found in the our own Southern states. That's where you're headed.I can hear the difference from the 70's until today.

  • well yes, the true blue fair dinkum ozzie accent is disintegrating.

not into american but into many different types of australian accent based on immagration. twenty years ago they said that you couldnt tell a location difference between australians from their accent.

but as you have just said people in southern states (really melbourne/me) speak with a slight received pronunciation (actually a brittish accent not american) and the more north you go the more stereotypical (allegedly).

  • @Jdentry I don't know.I spent a month in OZ back in the mid 1980's & back then I know immediately (1st syllable) that the Aussies had accents.Today watching & listening to young Australians on YouTube I literally have to listen for it and sometimes a person can speak several sentences before I'm certain.Perhaps it's my old American ears that are to blame, but I honestly don't think so.

  • So, real Aussies don't comb their hair?

  • im from europe but i would really like to visit australia.. and u r gorgeous..;)

  • 2:01 you forgot 'Mate' and coolies your from Brisbane im from Toowoomba :)

  • oi i live in a city iin australia and i say gday and fair dinkum and ive eaten a prawn cooked on a barby :o... i say bloke to ! . i am not an outback bogan but i say these words and it is really quite common for ausies to say these words ... i got mates in brissy who greet me with gday. i dont think u can say it is rare fore ausies to use these words .. other than that this was kinda funny lol

  • Yeah I don't live on a rock either and I love living imp australia it's amazing

  • sorry mate this was a fail

  • HAHA XDD Im in love with this countryy!!

  • Pretty cool video, thanks for uploading!

  • i dont live on a rock

  • Your country is not amazing >:O !

  • we dont even say shrimp its prawns

  • mate, slip a shrimp on tha barbie

  • i love how u have a koala in the background :)

  • we should change the flag. im sick of our country being represented as a british penal colony.

  • @HxCSounds You think the Australian flag should change? Might as well change the language as well. After all , if we're no longer tied with England why speak their language?

  • hey I have a question for ya, what do australian guys think about an american girls accent? Is it hot, annoying, etc..?

  • @maishiranui33 australian guys love anything that moves...

  • @maishiranui33 Hi im Australian and i love the accents on American woman.

I want to go to the states just to there voices : )

  • you don't have a very strong accent :/

  • @maishiranui33 usually Aussies with "strong accents" say shit like "OI HOW YA BLOODY GOIN' MATE?!" as the guy in this video said, most of us don't talk like that...

  • @GabbyJibblit haha, I guess that's the same for us with people in the south/north (in america) with stong accents.

although, I don't mind it from australians :P

  • @maishiranui33 hahah yeah I guess. I found that Aussies talk differently in different states too. And apparently Americans love the "outback Aussie" kind of accent. Sorry to dissapoint you, I'm a city girl. :P

  • Ok maybe Im too Canadian for my own good, but what the hell is a jumper?

  • @canadasprincesss its what i believe you call a sweater i think

  • @canadasprincesss just a thin jacket

  • ur stereotyping Americans.. Most of us know this..

  • @BoydnBellLIFE actually a lot of you don't. I've spoken to loads of Americans over the internet and they don't know a lot about our culture. They stereotype us as a lot of things such as kangaroo riders -.- this video wasn't made to offend anyone, just for those who wanted to know what we're really like. :)

  • what the hell is vegimite

  • what the hell is vegimite

  • @turnstyletouchbunny it's a spread you put on sandwhiches like Peanut Butter. It's quite sour so if you use too much of it you might end up vomiting...

  • Dear sir, I thank you for making such an awesome video to finally clear up most of the inaccurate ideas foreigners have about our great country.

  • cool story bro, tell it again.

  • lol ok so i understand how for any foreigners who KNOW about Australia, this could be slightly patronising but for those who dont i rekon this would explain alot and help them out :) and as for people thinking he sounds British? Lol dude, an entire state is devoted to sounding like poms, its called SOUTH AUSTRALIA :) so the british is scattered all through our mad country :) Trust me, despite the 'bollocks' lol this dudes a fair dinkum Aussie :)

  • Oh Bollocks? 3:45 thats not even Aussie, its a POM word for balls, but as an integrated country it is now used more often. Cricket, Gay FL, Footy (I think you mean Rugby League) and Union are not the most common sports in Aus. Its Netball then Soccer (Football to the educated) Look it up. City dwellers dont talk Strine anyway. So no point givin tips on talkin Strine. The rest was OK.

  • Haha u said bullocks I've never heard someone say that and I live in Australia xD

  • what's the difference between australian accent and british accent?

  • These kids today denies the fact .... i have lived in Sydney for almost 10 years and yes aussies greet with GOODAY MATE as usual. bE PROUD OF WHO YOU ARE AND how YOU SOUND .

  • I actually learned a lot from your video.

And just saying, your accent is really cute. Here in America, that's all that matters...

    XD

How do you Australians picture Americans? O.O

  • @RichieSam5 hahaha true dat! lol

  • @cheersweetie28 LOL!

  • The singlet and flanny is our own stereotype. Americans picture us wearing some sort of khaki outdoor wear with that cowboy hat.

  • @leptoceratops haha yea!! That's what I was thinking, but then he clicked his fingers and was in flanno

  • man you & your accent are hot -3 i love australians & there accents : ahh there so hot -3

  • Lol! I'm from Adelaide. I'm getting sick of people steriotyping us like that as well -.-.. Especially with the 'outback' accents.

  • Never mind this 'poof' comment left clearly by some daft rube. I'm from New York and thought this video was brilliant and spot on !

  • Real my ass. You sound like a poof.

  • I thought Texas was stereotyped with the checkered button-down shirt and cowboy hat? Never heard of that being referenced to Australians

  • @eaglesgogirl Really? Ya know, because usually everyone thinks that we live in the outback as some sort of cowboys, and riding horses around the desert?

Holy Hannah, that didn't even make sense! I need to take more English classes! :D

  • @StargateUnending What do you mean...did you not understand me? Do you not speak English as a 1st language or 2nd (it's my second language)?

  • @eaglesgogirl No, I meant that the sentence that I wrote didn't make sense ;)

  • @StargateUnending oh i see :) I understood you though.

  • lol, your accent kinda sounds Brittish. That's what happens when we try to talk "properly" I guess.

DW, Americans have my worse stereotypes, like we're fit and sporty, and they watch TV and eat McDonalds all the time. Right? xD

  • @DollFace12067

...we don't eat McDonald's all the time... That's unhealthy.......

You're making a generalization about millions of people you don't know.....including me :( it makes me sad..

  • @DollFace12067 erm, actually I don't do either soo......

  • i need to go overseas and pick up some chicks just with me aussie accent ;P
