  • What this is movie ??

  • @FenneQa It's real war

  • @FenneQa

    Enemy at the Gates.

  • invaders of my country have been destroyed

  • the glory of the third reich will never be forgotten!

  • @svenskmaktfinneslakt

glory? hahahahahaha you must be kidding, balme the jews and kill millions of "slavian ", Thanks to Soviet Russia that killed tha nzai dog and the evil rich.

  • @SportakooZ you shouldent say soviet russia killed them! they could not defeat them whit out the help of the allieds!

  • @sotahullu1

true. I think USA could join earlier but polticis sux :)

  • why is the germany called the father land and russia

    called the mother land?

  • @kingtiger009 Because of language declesion.

  • @kingtiger009 because they bolth had a baby called north america then they had a big arguement and the baby (america) but the baby doesnt like the father cause hes racist and the mommy is drunk all the time (vodka)

  • Tanks: 1:24 Ferdinand,1:25 Tiger,1:52 Stug 3,2:07 pzkpfw 3/4,2:11 pzkpfw 3,2:15 SU-76,Pzkpwf 2, SU-26,4:59 Pzkpfw 4,SU-152.

  • @GuytarZ ur point is and thats not a paner kaumfagen 3/4 never made called a panzer 3 ausj A

  • i love this song and sabaton

  • Politics aside, Soviet troops had some big balls and deserve respect for what they overcame.

  • @Chaos8282 For what, killing more of their own soldiers then the Germans did because of their no retreat policy? The Soviets only won because of the age old russian stratigy of attrition by charging head first into machine gun fire (which you would be executed if you did not, so it was either a 90% chance of death or a 100% chance). When I read a history book I actualy wonder why the Red Army did not rebel against the communist governments when the war ended, its not like they supported them.

  • @dave19941000 Sounds like you have watched enemy at the gates one too many times, and missed my point entirely. According to you the German army killed less then half of the 8 to 10 million or so Russian troops lost, leaving the rest to be killed by their own? Your actually saying that the Russians between 5 to 7 million troops themselves? Might want to read more than one history book lol. All that aside why wouldn't those who did fight not deserve respect?

  • @Chaos8282 No, the Red Army deserves the same level of respec that the German one does. There is a reason why the Red Army is nicknamed theof rapists, and why the monument in Berlin built to comemorate the unnamed fallen soldiers of the Red Army is called the statue of the unknown rapist. And then theres the government, look at the great purge, which killed off almost all the militaries high ranking officers, or their policies which killed, under Stalin, 40 million Soviets.

  • Brothers just listen to our history professor Sabaton and not fight on who is wrong or right and who is the best, just leave at the porn site :D

  • Too many men died.Long live the memory of German,Soviet,Romanian,French,British,Polish,Czech,Greek,Italian,Finlandian and other if i forget sorry.Bulild the a statue, never make difference only by political sistem, the soldier is a great man he fights, and he dies after that is forgoten and transformed in to a criminal, don't do the same mistake.I wish they are now in heaven.

  • my country has bitten germani, bulgaria, itali and turkey(sorry foe the english i am from greece so i dont speak the english realy good

  • @MARIOS666ful I am hopefully assuming that you know the famous Winston Churchill quote: 'Hence you will not say that Greeks fight like heroes but that heroes fight like Greeks'. The Greeks paid a heavy price for their actions against the Axis; but if it was not for the sacrifice of the Greeks, WWII would have played itself out in a way that would have put the Allies at a further disadvantage. So it could be said that Greece helped win the war.

  • Russia is in NATO.

The only brave Finn is Simo Häyhä. He is ugly as FUCK.

Russia won against Germany because of their numbers.

    YOU MAD?

  • @TheNexTechnoViking No they wwon because they were wreckless. YOU PISSED?!

  • @TheNexTechnoViking No they wwon because they were wreckless. YOU MAD?

  • @ivargmer trolls trolling trolls. YOU MAD?

  • @TheNexTechnoViking Actually no. The russians won because the german supply lines were stretched too thin, the german troops rarely got supplies and their clothing wasn't suited. Also because the russians pushed the germans back the same way they invaded the germans had no russian farms, houses, or anything to loot because virtually all of it was destroyed as the germans came in. Also, Simo was definitely not the only brave finn, the entire nation ferociously defended their homeland.

  • @Zero8654 YOU MAD BRO?

  • @TheNexTechnoViking not really. I was trying to just have an intelligent discussion.

  • Am I alone in the assumption that there will be another world war that happens in our generation? The entirety of the established western based civilizations have individually armed themselves to the teeth. As well has the Asian countries (especially China) have armed themselves greatly as well. What are the course of events leading us all into? I see a repeat of 1914 happening again soon. Another World War: many millions dead; perhaps it may be what needs to have happen to help fix the world.

  • @greatloss

There is already a third world war going on. It began in 2002 and there is no end in sight. Some call it "The War on Terror".

  • The term: 'War on Terror' is as open ended as the vagueness of it's scope and it's time-frame. But those people we fight in Afghanistan are not a real advisory upon the same caliber as the Germans were in WWII, or what would have become the fight between the USA and Soviet Union during the Cold War, if it had turned hot. The point I was trying to make was that the military budgets throughout the world have been greatly increased. This condition will lead to the inevitable: Another World War.

  • @greatloss

Your country may be fighting in Afghanistan and such in the war on terror, but not my country. We havn't been at war in 197 years.

  • @Shukuyou

realy we had a world war like 71 years ago and a worldwar means that the whole world is affected / into that war :3

  • @darkerthanblackful

We are the true Neutral Nation. We are Sweden.

  • @darkerthanblackful It affected the whole world but not every state participated, examples being switzerland and sweden.

  • @Zero8654 The Swiss did not participate? LOL!

  • @greatloss No, no they did not. They remained neutral through both world wars. The only fighting they did was if anyone strayed into their country and that never turned into any real warfare.

  • @Zero8654 They participated on an economic basis and not being not too discriminate on who they did business with. The primary reason Switzerland was not invaded is because of their international banking industry. The Swiss had a 'no questions asked' policy when it came to the nazi's, despite a percentage of their gold deposits were pulled from the teeth of dead Jews. This practice still exists today with Swiss bank accounts shielding the assets of corporate criminals from their home governmenets

  • Comment removed

  • @Shukuyou What country are you from? I can't think of any country who hasn't had some sort of conflict/violent unrest even within the past 100 years. Yes I am American, and damn proud of it, but many of the imperialist policies that our politicians have engaged in for the past 40 years is shameful and unproductive for mankind as a whole. Us Americans will be fighting another war soon, only this time it will be between ourselves. There is a sense of great unrest and social division going on here.

  • @greatloss

I'm Swedish and the last time Sweden were in war was 1814. We don't believe that guns and weapons can solve any problem, and therefore all types of weapons, if owned by a private person, are illegal in Sweden.

  • Yea stoppable T-26 with machinegun, piece of shit but if 1000 vs tiger the crew can burn tiger.. pffff shit allover!

  • can some1 pls tell me wats the name of the movie at 3:38 ?

  • @loveno11994 Enemy At The Gates.

  • NOBODY WILL WIN RUSSIA BY FORCE!!!

IF YOU NATO WILL DARE TO START A WAR AS YOU DO WITH MANY COUNTRIES FOR TO GET OIL

I LL SHOW YOU HOW IT WILL BE TO GET FUCKED

  • @kirill16108

    lol u mad bro?

    PSIH KAKOI TA! LOL

  • @kirill16108 russia is in the nato dude ...

  • @germanfactoryD no it issent dude :D

  • @germanfactoryD ... i have no idea what you guys are arguing about but Russia is NOT in NATO...

  • @germanfactoryD Russia is NOT in NATO, one way to figure that out is that Russia does not use NATO ammo for their weapons like 5.56 x 45mm or 7.62 x 51mm lol Great song btw

  • @kirill16108 Russia had a shovel up their ass against Finland in ww2. Hyvää!

  • @Flipifyify the shovel is in your ass only faggot

if i ll meet u i ll show u how did we had a shovel

put shovel in my ass then i ll beleive

  • @kirill16108

May I need to remaind you about Finland kicking your ass 10:1 in Winter War and Continuation War. One unite nation can beat a evil force. Finland is the wall against russian hate. My grandfather gave his life in Winter War. Our family won't ever forget that.

  • Who was bigger idiot? Hitler who think that he will defeted Russia or Stalin who allied with Hitler and invade Poland?

  • LOL. You are all talking about the "Great red army" Look back at their useless and backstabbing attack on Finland (where the ruski's red army suffered a great defeat).

What was the greatness in that?

War heroes? I don't think so...

  • This song tell us something wrong the Battle of Prokhorovka was a defeat for Russia not for germany, Russia had heavy losses. Kursk Battle was considered a draw, but germany could never recover from this battle losses.my respects for all people killed in this hideous war

  • t-26 are so funny..

  • BEST INTRO EVER!

  • ONE M0:00 TIME!!!

    Nichts is vergessen-der Tag kommt!

  • SIEG HEIL !!!

  • @iliqnktz123 shut up nazi

  • If I was a russian man or soviet man , I have not doubt : I had the biggger proud to fight against the nazi fascist and win. Glory to the Red Army!!

  • The video should be like 10 seconds longer because there's still an ending strum (don't know the actual name for it) that gets cut-off, so I would recommend adding that...

  • There were also many gentlemen in SS and Wermacht who just did their job. Among Finnish army, German was one of the best. Finland had the guts, German the technical ability.

  • Ха-ха-ха, наши выиграли!

  • Close your eyes....I see T34s charging at full throttle through the Russian Taiga...once more victorious the red army stands!

  • THIIIIIIIIIS SONG JUST MAKES ME WANNA RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!!!!!!

  • Into the Motherland the german army marchs!

  • you got to love the "IN TO THE MOTHERLAND THE GERMAN ARMY MARCH" its just badass

  • Where are the last two tones making this song perfect?

  • Sabaton поет про битву на Курской Дуге!!! Потрясающе!!! <3Sabaton'n'Russia!!!

  • @flykcrusader10xxx Truth is that your a dumb shit, and I have little tolerance for it.

  • @flykcrusader10xxx Fact of the matter is you, like most other young people in the U.S, are so fucking stupid they will spout out whatever bullshit they heard on some made for T.V movie, and tout it as fact. Problem is it serves no purpose other then showing your own poor intelligence level, and making other people think of us as brain dead rednecks.

  • @flykcrusader10xxx NO you said we are raping africa and world police that tax the shit out of its people. 1. we haven't "Raped" Africa at all. 2. Like any other major power we protect our interests abroad. 3. Judging by your profile picture you probably haven't paid any taxes at all. If you are so fucking proud with america and "Its" people but are so ashamed of its Un"angle" like status, why would you not fit right in with Obama and the lefties!

  • the persons in the video were from the 9th panzerdivision ;)

  • sorry for my english,i'm not a native speaker.and about that german superiority in arms.traning ,equipment etc. well they started the war they were preapred.

on the other side if not for the war ,and crazy nazi experiments many things would poprably never be invented

  • panzerkampf meenz arored war.

And about atck on russia during the ages , they allways do the same, they let enemies deep in to the contury and cut of the supply lines during the winter ,the cold will finish them off.

And about usa, france and uk i hope you know your conturies sponsored world war 2 ;] and usa was pritty much useless during most of the fights, same france westerplatte hold longer than entier french contury.uk helped when they were in danger ,+russians allways were traitors

  • @flykcrusader10xxx Judging by your poor grammar and flat out baseless lies I'd say your not american at all. No doubt an avid Obama supporter as well given that you admit defeat when it isn't warranted.

  • what does Panzerkampf mean i know panzer is tank ?

  • @Thecagedshield battle armor..

  • @Thecagedshield Kampf is a combat or batle so its something like armored combat

  • @ThoningMasteren I am afraid I feel differently. "Kampf" is a struggle, some form of turmoil a person pushes through. My books from Germany usually reveal tank/infantry battles as "Streit" would be a more combat version. This is a struggle of tanks.

  • @DeutscherausRussland Indeed.

Minor nitpick: Battle is usually given as "Schlacht" in German. "Streit", used in this context would be rather archaic (compare the Swedish "Stridsvagn"* for "battle tank", literally "battle wagon") as it is nowadays only used for interpersonal conflict between individuals in civilian context..;)

*please excuse any spelling errors, as I typed that from memory.

  • @DeutscherausRussland It's in one word and it means Panzer Battle

  • @ThoningMasteren Yeah Tankskirmish fits it.

  • @ThoningMasteren It must not be an armored combat .... cat´s can fight too ,or kids... verb:"kämpfen"

  • @ThoningMasteren panzer is german for tank so u r correct thanks for clearing that up for me

  • @ThoningMasteren Tank Fight* (the fields of Prokorovka was a tank fight and the russian had the upper hand, even though the German Blitzkrieg /lightning-fast\ was advancing fast, the russians had time to set defenses....the anti tank mines, also the T-34 matched up against the Panther tank, and the IS-2/ IS-3 matched up against the Tiger and King Tiger tank )

  • @BassLoverDude not realy.... they where just more and the germans where totally at their end of recources etc... and nothing matched the king tiger II, they only get fucked by them selfes (material damage, the engine died very often cause the tank was to heavy or it got stucked in mud, same reason) but yeah the germans lost this fight cause they let the russians prepeare their lines... and they didnt had muc recourcesl eft cause germany was on the ground....

  • @aullikTheBrain okkie then....

  • @ThoningMasteren no its battle armor

  • @ThoningMasteren noooo.... you cannot translate panzer with armor cause its the synonyme for panzerkampfwagen (~armorcombatvehicle) what means TANK so it means tankbattle...

  • @ThoningMasteren

Panzerkampf= fighting, battle between or with the use of armoured vehicles (tanks). Also an expression about sexual intercourse with clothed persons, but seldom used.

  • @Heiliger666 I DONT CARE!!! I've recieved 10 messaged from people telling ME what it is... I didnt even ASK?!

  • @ThoningMasteren i think they think it makes them seem really smart when they correct someone on translations, it just makes them seem annoying

  • @ThoningMasteren hey the title Panzerkampf means tankfight

  • @FeuerwehrLz13 Kampf = fight .. so Panzerkampf = Armoured combat ! learn German and English guys =P

  • @iumelen ehm not really. Armoured = gepanzert not Panzer, Panzer means tank!!!! It´s just a small different but it have an other meaning. Oh and I´m from germany so don´t tell me to learn german. Ich bin mir sehr sicher das meine Deutschkenntnisse ausreichend sind um einen deutschen Titel ins Englische zu übersetzen =).

  • @ThoningMasteren das ist correct ^^

  • @ThoningMasteren

    jeesh learn German or stfu!!!

It's Panzerkampf so it means combat with tanks : D you should listen to the lyrics and watch the vid instead of tryin' to understand the song's title :D

  • @18947ful I don't fucking care!?

  • @ThoningMasteren

^^ do you think I did in the first place? :D

  • @Thecagedshield

    It means tank fight.

  • zarypiaszcze ziom

    widać że się postarałeś

  • the first time i heard this song on my mp3 ill tell u my story...

i looked at the title panzerkampf i didnt hav a clue what this sabaton song is but i still downloaded it to my mp3 then i was listening to primo victoria and the came panzerkampf.. silence and then... INTO THE MOTHER LAND THE GERMAN ARMY MARCH it scared the fuck out of my and thats why its my favourite sabaton song!

  • @flykcrusader10xxx this was the first unbrian wast comment of an american i have seen

    it was a compliment

  • Great, and now lets listen to the first suggestion! Wait - Miley Cyrus?

  • Skurwysyńskie nazistowskie pedały.

    Przepraszam napiłem się.

  • Stalin was a maniac, Hitler was a maniac. Take no sides.

  • The West cannot defeat Russia during the winter. It's a mistake they keep making. The Teutonic Knights during the crusade failed, Napoleon failed, and Hitler failed.

  • @Noise509 The west never thought "Oh! lets attack russia when its winter! What a GREAT tactic!". The reason is that they rarely have much of a choice. Usually they really had to, because russia were arming their troops, and as we all know, when they are armed, they zerg the fu**k out of you ;D

  • @askepus2 There's also the whole problem of it's size. I mean, Russia's big enough that basically anyone invading it will have to fight during winter, at some point. If you aren't equipped for it(like the Wehrmacht) and get stopped in your tracks then the enemy has the time that they need to regroup.

  • Oh Leksands IF, Blåvita lag, kämpa för skölden stark är vår sak, oh Leksands IF , blåvita lag, stor är vår seger när slaget är klart.

  • i'm with the germans... and will always be... but this song fucking rocks!!! ;)

  • Кто не в курсе о чем песня, наберите в поиске "Sabaton русские субтитры". А то я смотрю их тут к нацистам причислили. Все с точностью до наоборот.

  • winter save russia.

  • @deathwalkerunited

    You know nothing

  • @xNealus He's actually quite correct, it was a mixture of weather conditions and Hitler's obsession with Stalingrad that saved Russia, if he had invaded sooner or not bothered with Stalingrad and instead focused on Moscow he would have won.

  • @MauledWolf Concentrating his entore south army force for stalingrad city itslef would been a lot better because the loss od stalingrad would been like I cut in the throat, heart still beats but blood spill out endlessly and eventualy whole body dies. It was the same with stalingrad and river volga, if the whole of stalingrad would've been captured germans could block the transports of oil up the rivers stream and no oil would reach main body of soviet army(only some small quantities could do)

  • @PolishWingedHussar10 Hmmm, I suppose so, but he could have also won if he concentrated on Moscow, he had two options available but wasn't focused enough. Stalingrad was mostly a symbol (bearing Stalin's name) hence why Hitler was so obsessed with it. Stalingrad might have been like a throat slash but Moscow would have been a curb stomp.

  • @MauledWolf

People saved Russia. They gatrered all their will and streght, formed in a fist and did it.

It's common errror about winter, I think someone's trying to completely change history, that's why everybody thinks so. And war is a thing not to be talken about... All that mess, deaths, questions who was right - it all just... does'n need to be discussed.

I'm math type, not historical, and I hate to read it - because history's probably changed million times.

    I'm sorry for my english.

  • @xNealus Well, I didn't say it was purely winter that saved Russia, it was a mixture of winter and Hitler going against the advice of his generals. I agree the Russians did rally together, but in the early stages of the war they surrendered to the Germans in thousands, they simply had enough of the Soviet system. If Hitler hadn't applied his racist policies and instead recruited them into Russian divisions they would have most likely kept doing it.

Nothing wrong with your English, it's fine.

  • You know what?

Croatian SS DIVISION - BLACK LEGION in stalingrad did all of the work :P

They were much better then ANY German troop.

Like napoleon himself told that one Croatian soldier is like 50 french soldiers at 1800s... And then French had proffesional army so :D

=U= If you know what that means xD

  • @Sponcek really now? So then when the germans were defeated at stalingrad im guessing its the croatians fault? Also who was the main force to launch operation barberossa in the first place? Oh yea thats right the german main army not the croatians.

  • @KenFranchino

Kill yourself it was like 1000 croatian troops.... man you shouldn't take STUFF seriusly if you don't know what are ya talkin' 'bout...

But CROATIA DID help alot in Stalingrad !

  • @Sponcek Well when it comes to history things are serious and not to be messed with. Immaturity is which causes hisotry to get screwed up because people like you make up stupid shit like "Croatia did all of the work!" Yea i doubt 1,000 croatians did a bunch of shit in the whole battle for stalingrad. YOU dont know what your talking about and please provide proof on how they helped alot, other wise dont spew your garbage.

  • @Sponcek 1'000 croatians +1'700'000 soviets

yes you croatians did all the work...

  • @Sponcek i forgett somthing... there where 850'000 germans ok 849'000 germans and 1000 croatians

first they where and ss troup... ss means "sehr schlecht" = very bad

the german army was the best army in this hohle period but the ss troups sucked the most!!! and 1000 croatians didnt do much in a battle like this esxcept of dying and wondering why they dont repawn

  • @aullikTheBrain

SS means Schutzstaffel which mean defence corps, try to be less wrong in the future

  • @aullikTheBrain The SS did not suck they were a Elite, kind of like SAS or the Rangers or something like that.

  • @TrulleX The Waffen SS were expertised in every weapon and every kind of combat making them better from the SAS,the Rangers and so.....of course the equipment was different and difficult to compare. But,still they were not the German Army Elites! The Elites were the Fallschirmjagers(Paratroopers) that, despite their name, many times fought on foot alongside the infantrymen.

  • @aullikTheBrain The SS were the elite of the German Army...they also had to be card-carrying Nazi Party members, think of them as SEALS, just part of the German Army.

  • @KRAUTKICKER The SS was the elite of the German Army, but they're nothing compared to Rangers, SEALs, SF, anything we got today. They didn't even compare to Rangers in the 40s.

  • @NewMexicoJoe505 Well, they were the best of the German Army....I guess then a better comparison would be with the WWII era 101st Airborne, except with tank units as well and no specialty in airdrops

  • @aullikTheBrain

    SS Strom troopers... ......

Elite soldiers in Germany alost resposible for Gestapo and holocaust....

    Watch more tv dude...

  • @aullikTheBrain

the ss was called "sehr schlecht" by the wehrmacht troups just for kidding them, because the wehrmacht didnt like the ss troups because they felt like something better then the wehrmacht troups.

got this information from my grandpa and he fought in the wehrmacht.

  • @fl4sher1 i know, my grandpa told me the same... and know i get douzen of flame comments on how stupid i am....

fact is that the german army had their own elite troups and the ss troups where just a bunsh of extremists trained by nazi ideologists,

yeah they were a bit better trained then the normal army but they rushed in every situation, cause they thought they are the best!!!

  • @fl4sher1

Waffen-SS=elite troops, SS was a more political thing, not an actual fighting force, actually some kind of elite militia (as the SA was meant to be a militia at the beginning). Service in the Waffen-SS war freewilled, so they were more some sort of professional soldiers. Major difference was that the support for the Waffen-SS was mechanized, and the majoprity of the Wehrmacht still depended upon Horses and such things for getting supplies.

  • @Heiliger666

i didnt say the ss was a fighting force, just that the ss felt like something better than the wehrmacht.

  • @MauledWolf There was no way the Germans could win the war, Soviets would have fought on had Moscow fallen, the Germans simply didn't have the men, matériel, or supplies to conquer them, the Soviets would simply fight from the Urals where their factories were. The front would only get wider as they got past Moscow, and they were already stretched out too thin in 1941. and up to the winter of 1941. the Soviets were mostly disorganized so the Germans were lucky to get as far as they got...

  • @Arg0n01 Actually, while the Third Reich was low on supplies and whatnot, the Third Reich didn't exactly want the entire USSR under its rule. They wanted their oil fields to continue the fight against the British and the Americans. The proper term would be that the USSR got lucky. Stalingrad wasn't top priority. It was simply a demoralizing act. If the Wehrmacht would have had continued towards their primary goal, they might have had succeeded after all.

  • @Parham1995 Yes, possibly they didn't want the whole Soviet Union, but you cannot wage partial war with the Soviets, for as long as they can fight they will keep on fighting, and a war of attrition against the Soviet Union was simply not winnable. Germans were lucky across the board, all those Versailles treaty breaches with no sanctions, the unopposed invasion of Poland, the botched allied invasion of Norway, Stalin's purges (USSR had the most proficient army before the purges).

  • @Arg0n01 Well, WWII began when Poland was conquered, or while being conquered, so I won't say "unopposed", exactly. Well, the theory was, capture the oil fields, and demoralize the USSR far enough, they'd give up just as they had back in WWI. The Blitz tactic was demoralizing in general. What they didn't really count on was the tactics the Red Army used to counter the Blitz. Getting pinned-down back in Stalingrad didn't help either. They might have had a chance if they left Stalingrad.

  • @Parham1995 But they didn't have enough power to take the oilfields. The oil fields are in the Caucasus, and blitzkrieg is unfeasible in the mountains, the Soviets wear out the attackers so they can mount a strategic flank from Stalingrad, fairly simple thing happens to work. And what I meant unopposed was the fact that the wester allies of Poland didn't act even though they had an overwhelming numerical superiority on the west border on Germany (110 vs. 23 divisions, almost 5 times as much).

  • @Arg0n01 Yes, that's right. They were in the Caucasus. It was a desperate attack, really. Look at in this way, the British had the Middle-East (well, most of it, that is). It was impossible to go there. The Red Army was known to be a very inferior force back then (after a frontier war, against the Finnish, I think?), and Hitler was as delusional as ever. I personally think (I'm probably wrong) that a speedy victory would have had been possible, if they had just Blitzed through.

  • @deathwalkerunited lol it did. For more than 5 times, hehe.

  • ONE M0:00RE TIME!

  • @musto94 100 M0:00RE TIME!!! :)

  • God this song is badass.

  • Glory and honor to Great Soviet Army which free us from nazi !! (Respect from Czech Republic)

  • @Loucenteam

well, the Soviet army was really great at the end of ww2. They also freed Poland from the nazis. Well, 5 years before they killed some thousand Polish soldiers at Katyn, and stood still during the Warsaw uprising...

But, still great army. But then came the communists, and they weren't great at all...

  • @Loucenteam Hmmmm, they did kick the "Nazis" out, but only to install their puppets, trade one dictatorship for another, not really much of a liberation. But eh, they were brave soldiers.

  • @MauledWolf Brave indeed but without honour to treat simple people of those countries especialy women of germany which fell victim to the worst and the largest mass rape in the human history. Lets just skip pass the fate of german POWs which were either shot or sent to siberia(my own granfather participated in killing pows which was a coomon thing on eastern front) those things were happening cause war is war. Women took no part in this war but yet many of them fell victim to these russian hords

  • @PolishWingedHussar10 Aye, I was mostly getting at the civillians who suffered at the hands of the Red Army, I just don't understand why people glorify them and the Soviets so much is all. They weren't liberators, they were just another form of oppressor.

  • @MauledWolf The reason for that is just that they were the ones who bore brunt of major fighting and they engaged the largest body of german army. The westeners just never tasted the soviet rule and so they dont see anything wrong with them but infact they were just as cruel, merciless and murderous power as nazie germany or probably worse. Russians were cruel even in 1939 polish invasion, on-site POW and NCO executions in many places, mass murders, torturs and mass persecution of innocent poles
