@johnotakum haha! I understand. I hated this song too until the other guys (in this vid) convinced me to try playing it on Shamisen. Now it has become somewhat of a trademrak of us for better or worse. We also do a cover of Paparazzi (filmed in an actual airplane cockpit) that one was fun too. Oh well, back to studying traditional Tsugaru Shamisen (for now anyway). Thanks for the comment!

@kinomianimetree101 HELL YEAH! That's awesome! But never neglect the Shamisen's roots; make sure you learn some of the traditional stuff too!

@kinomianimetree101 You can definately play pretty much whatever you want.. >.> But you have to understand the basics, like proper tuning settings, finger numbers, when to stick to what string...but it's a versatile instrument because it's mainly halfsteps. My brother figured out pretty much everything he ever learned on guitar after a day...but the correct way to hold it, not so much XDDD. Good luck!
