Not very crowded at all. At the very end of my video, you can catch a glimpse of the lift line which is virtually non existent. Probably, the longest wait was 5-10 minutes.
cataloochee is so easy, the black diamond at the top compares to greens at the new england and western ski resorts. but this video was taken just a few days before they got about 4 feet of snow! they were blowing snow like crazy to make sure they have a nice base for the snow that was coming. yes 4 feet of snow at cataloochee between 26th and 28th, then they got about 3 feet this last storm in early january. great year for cataloochee.
