  • This makes me proud to call Louisville my hometown.

  • now I know why its raining right now...

... Cliff is watching this video with me from heaven and is crying tears of joy :)

  • Cliff Burton would be soooooooooooooooo PROUD !!!!!!

  • I love the beginning when the cello has a cool entrance!

  • Oh My GOD

MetallicA ..... how Great you are

  • If only Cliff were alive to see this.

  • cute

  • The bass solo was arranged and played by cello and bass. It was Avery challenging part for the group, but I feel they did a great job overall.

  • @tatum3262 They did. The bass solo part was beautiful.

  • My only problem is i feel that the bass solo wasn't done how I'd like. I understand they didn't have a double bassist but it at least should've been done by a cellist.

  • Brilliant... just... brilliant. Gorgeous arrangement. And amazingly enough, recorded during a nuclear assault by aliens (loud rumbles). ;)

  • pretty cool

  • yes the conductor has a Master of Puppets shirt on!

  • thats just too cool. kids appreciating Cliff Burtons masterpeice. so happy...

  • Aww...

Metallica is the greatest band on the planet. The whole Master Of puppets album should be completley done with an Orchestra

  • Actually , the Master of Puppets album was played by The Scorched Earth Orchestra...

  • @Theshiggityshwa it has been the scorched earth orchestra....chek out "the thing that should not be"

  • I'm second stand on the outside! (first violins)

    We kinda sucked that concert...

  • In the words of my nephew:

The feeling that music emits transcends all genres. In other words, excellent arrangement! A tasteful mash-up, so to speak. Congrats to the LYO, variety is the spice of life, especially when classical music and heavy metal cross paths.

    Well done.

    Regards,

    Dominic
