  • justin's best work ever!! 5:34

  • I've been tuning in to this show since 1936!

  • this is my GUIDING LIGHT

  • That was so sad. My head aches from crying so much. Well done to Justin - amazing acting as always.

  • LOL

  • This was so sad! The son of Buzz and Jenna dies almost exaclty the same way Jenna died.

    "Say hi to your Mom"

    :( RIP COOP & JENNA!

  • What an amazing show Guiding Light. I just don't get it. This beautiful ensemble piece gets caneled, but they leave the other tripe they call "reality tv" on forever! What the ell?!?

  • He sings "DownTown" because he called Jenna "Petula" when they first met because she reminded him of Petula Clark.

  • thank you.

  • Why would he sing 'Downtown'? It's such an old song. Did the Pet Clark song really come on or was it added by the person who uploaded the video? Kind of strange... don't you think?

  • So what happened to coop?????

  • Car accident.

  • I wish we could make a huge e card for Justin somehow and send it to him, Hi fulli.

  • Years ago I also asked him for a picture but he never answered... same for Fiona Hutchison (ex-Jenna). I know that he hates to do publicity, but we can try to ask him again..., maybe for 2 of his greatest fans he makes an expeption...

  • Justin will be the only one who I'll miss when GL ends. He's magic. E enjoyed her portrait of GL since he arrived in February 1993. On my estimation the Best Character & the Best Actor Ever.

  • I love Justin too fullimmerzion.

  • Hi, proud2Bprude! Nice to meet you online... I guess that many people loves Justin... The greatest actor on daytime. He has everything: look, talent & charisma. Ciao.

  • Hi there! I've created my Youtube channel for Guiding Light fans who want to come onto Youtube and revisit some of their favorite scenes/see some montages, not for ex-Guiding Light fans to insult the show and wish it was already off the air. If you don't have anything positive to say about the show, please don't comment on my Guiding Light videos in the future.

    Take care,

    GLDaily, MC

  • Help save Guiding Light. Write letters, send postcards, call people. Do what you can.

    Thanks

  • Justin Deas is definetly one of the best in daytime. He deserves an Emmy not ony for this show but for his work the entire week after Coop died. In real life your grieve for awhile and Buzz conveyed this. He didn't say goodbye to Coop and then go on. He is still grieving.

  • Off the subject, becaus we ALL know what a great actor Justin is! He has been

a favorite of mine since 1975 - Ryan's Hope! But it is time to cut the hour soaps

to half an hour, one hour is just too much

for the average working person, even if you tivo it, thats five hours of tv on the weekend, plus anything else one might

watch. It would cut the production cost

in half, and people like me, could tune

in daily. I think its time for to rethink

    the dayime soap format again.

  • I love Justin Deas :) He is one of the best actors on daytime :)

  • what's happened to the production values for this show. I hear they shoot it with handheld cameras, i haven't watched in years as I live in the mid east now. I have tuned in after hearing about its demise. Can someone fill me in.

  • Guiding Light shoots all of their scenes digtally. They have tripods but unless it's a fairly still scene the cameramen hold them, which is why you see the slight swaying. It's a fraction of the cost of what the old format used to be, and if it weren't for Ellen Wheeler (EP) coming up with it, the show would have been cancelled last year. Telenext is looking for a new home for Guiding Light, it's off CBS but Guiding Light is still far from over. :)

  • I hope to God that GL will live on, but only if it returns to THE REAL GUIDING LIGHT. Every single thing about my all-time favorite daytime soap is horrid now! I don't give a damn about budget cuts. As I said in another comment, go out with a bang and ON TOP! Now, the ONLY saving grace that GL has is the return of Grant! I am thrilled that he is back, but I haven't seen any of his scenes b/c I have them recorded but I can't bare to watch.

  • Y&R would NEVER DREAM of using digital cameras! Yes, Y&R has a terrific budget, but soap operas are supposed 2 LOOK & SOUND "pretty," even when the worst things are happening. I love Justin D. & he is amazing in every scene, but Coop's death was as terribly unaffective as the death of Gus. I didn't FEEL anything! Back track to the deaths of Hart, Richard, Tammy-Those scenes were rip-your-heart-out, damn-good drama! Even the new theme song is wretched...So sad...

  • @GLDaily You sure about that? I mean its hard to bring a soap on another show from what I hear.

  • a powerful scene.. I kept this episode... it really got to me.

    kudos to justin deas

  • coop was one of my favorite characters...and a beautiful actor.

  • this episode was fantastic

justin deas was so heartbreaking to watch, he really made you feel his pain

  • nearly the same death of his mother Jenna..

    so sad:-(

  • This was so sad to watch a father have to make the this desison. This just broke my heart.

  • This is just too sad =,(

    Emmy Emmy Emmy!

  • You would have to have a cold heart not to feel something watching Buzz shut off the machine on Coop like that. I don't get misty eyed often, but I sure did this time. When he shut off the machine, and he got weak in knees, so sad. There is a reason Justin Deas has all those Emmys, and he sure needs another one after this!

  • First of all well done GL!! I loved how GL didn't do the "normal" opening....everytime I was this I cry just as much as the day it aired!! Justin had better get an emmy! RIP Henry Cooper Bradshaw. Good luck John Driscoll!!

  • I cry every time I see this. Justin Deas was spectacular! Give the guy an Emmy.

  • Poor Buzz...first his wife, now his son...I really *really* hope someone goes after Alan and brings him to justice.

  • Is John AKA Henry Cooper Bradshaw really off the show for good ?

  • omg i was hysterical, i totally agree he deserves a emmy i woudnt be able to lay still there i was emotional just watching it it was definititly heartbreaking when he said see you later alligator.

  • So so...and beautiful.

    Buzz...UGH, just broke my heart!

Especially when he said "see you later alligator" I knew it was coming...but I still balled.

  • Justin Deas is an outstanding man as Buzz Cooper. Knowing how sad and aslo heartbreaking it was for his character to lose his son.

  • rip coop !!!!!!

  • omg tears! justin deas totally deserves an emmy for this loving, heartbreaking scene!

  • ITA! Buzz made me weep like crazy when I watched this.. He's overdue for his seventh Emmy!

  • If only he had made it to that last photo shoot I'm overly disappointed about that, I have had and lost some cast member photos but still have quite a few, however NONE at all of Justin. It's ok I guess I just wish he'd sent me one, But he never has. *sigh*

  • Thank you for this.
