How do you get your husky to be so calm around the cat? My husky freaks out whenever she sees something smaller than her(cats, squirrels, rabbits, birds) Did they grow up together or something?

I got Roxy at 9 months old, so not real young, but I did have a cat at the time. A lot of it is just her temperment. I really lucked out with her! My male husky, Roland, does ok with the cats but doesn't react the same as Roxy

Do u need to have a yard to have a husky?

No, as long as you do have some sort of way to excersize them. They become destructive if they don't have this kind of outlet. They are also escape artists.

They are great dogs! I will tell you though that they shed a lot, although you don't need to bathe them much. Huskies are untrustworthy off-leash. They are difficult to train because they are VERY independent. This doesn't mean that they are not affectionate though! Oh, and they are escape artists! They also are high-energy. They're a really fun dog to have but you need to make sure you understand what kind of commitment you are making because they are not the easiest dogs!
