@brappp10 this one was labelled as Open Water 2: Adrift after the success of the first one, apparently. But in some places, like here in Australia, it's just known as Adrift. Hope that helped =)

yuppy couples doing improv lines while they tread water... what a yawn this movie is. there's a reason why 95% of sequels fail. had the producers made this more of an R rated movie they might have saved it. how a script with a 5 word synopsis ever got green-lit is beyond me. Jaws was the definitive drama in the water, you can't out-do a classic, why bother? i saw dozens of great films at film fests the year this water-logged sequel came out, and they were all better. a big FAIL.

I was gonna watch this on Sky Movies I am so glad I checked a trailer first. Open Water has to be the most boring movie I ever watched, I am shocked they made a sequel xD. Safe to say I won't watch it xD.

are you freaking kidding me? have you ever tried to lift someone or something out of the water higher than you can reach naturally? Its not going to happen. You don't have any resistance to use to your advantage. I've tried with air tanks that weigh a fraction of what a person weighs. I'll remember the ladder, you try your idea. I'll be on the beach drinking coronas laughing as you swim to shore.

I think the idea for the story was good but the ladder idea sucks. the easiest way they could get onto the boat was one dude stand on the other dudes sholders and then launch him up.Or two dudes give him a boosty. there problem solved.
