They sometimes even do features like Apocalyptica - Bittersweet feat Ville Valo (HIM) and Lauri Ylönen (The Rasmus). Tuomas Holopainen has played keyboards on some of Kotiteollisuus live sets too. As I see it, the finnish bands doesn't really compete with each other because finnish metalheads will listen all anyways...
