@madema6 It's not my personal belief , it's a real fact - Martian dust storms are the biggest in solar system. You forgot that gravity on Mars is 1/3 of Earth's gravity and dust on Mars even smaller than ours - it has size of cigarette smoke (!), so 7-9 hPa is enough to make storms , that can cover the whole planet for months ...
@madema6 If you look in telescope you will see, that Mars is orange, it's orange because the surface has such color, so atmosphere should be very thin , thick atmosphere would be blue or bluish ( even if it consists of pure CO2) , that is because of sun light , when it reflected by surface of planet, and trapped by thick atmosphere it must be bluish. NASA confirms, that 3-4 billion years ago Mars had atmosphere similar to ours
@madema6 Or at least NASA don't deny it. But now it's gone (( Since Mars has lost it's magnetic field , it also lost it's thick atmosphere. No wonder that it's atmosphere now is less than 1% of Earth's , I really can believe this
@madema6 Oh, I was afraid ,that you belong to type of people , which believe , that Mars has blue sky X D LOL I was thinking about it ... May be NASA don't know it exactly , it also can very on different latitudes . And today I realized : maybe they didn't succeed in dust devil reproducing in a 10 hPa chamber because of gravity? They can't create 1/3 Earth's gravity here on Earth, they should do it in plane, that moves parabolically

@MrAndersohn
Do you really belive that 7-9 hPa are enough to load so much dust???

@MrAndersohn
Actually it isn't what NASA told....
They tried to reproduce dust devil in a 10 hPa chamber but they didn't succeed!!!
So, what makes you so shure???

@madema6 I believe NASA )) I don't understand why they should lie about atmospheric pressure on Mars...

@MrAndersohn XD LOL.....
I started with my first Newtonian telescop more than 37 years ago....
I know the colours of Mars!
My doubt is (here) only about the atmospheric density....
Any way, don't worry.... :-)
